This is AI with extra words. The only way you possibly resolve the second effect is probably Polkelt. I do wonder though how this mana cost reduction interacts with Deck of Chaos (or how Deck of Chaos interacts with Polkelt in general). Would Enhanced Dreadlord be a 3 mana 8/5? Probably not worth considering, but I’ll take the Mythbusters video anyway.
Regardless, AI technically has less value in Warlock since they can just Life Tap, but this probably still slots into some sort of Quest Warlock if that deck is still going to be around.
Foxy Fraud
I mean I’ll gladly take a 1 mana Edwin. Even in a “worst case” scenario you discount something like Brain Freeze and win the board by killing their 2 drop.
Feat of Strength
This would probably have to cost 2 to even consider. Honestly Into the Fray costs 1 and is a questionable handbuff when it can give +6/+6 pretty consistently.
Fairground Fool
Probably safe to compare it to something like Rabble Bouncer or whatever the neutral 2/7 taunt was that pretty easily got to 3 mana. That card I’m pretty sure only really saw play in Shaman to evolve it so I don’t see too much hope here.
If a more midrangey minion based priest deck comes around, possibly, but I don’t see too much hope for that since I don’t see current Control Priest running a blob of stats they can’t play until turn 5.
Dreadlord's Bite
Arguably better bloodrazor, but even in a super slow DH deck I feel like there will be too many weapons to play this. That being said if token decks are a thing or something this probably replaces SOMETHING.
Confection Cyclone
I mean it PROBABLY slots into a highlander type mage if anywhere. It’s firefly on steroids for 1 extra mana.
Circus Amalgam
Well if NZoth decks are a thing this is probably ran for consistency or to avoid playing worse options since Better Senjin is pretty decent on its own.
Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer
Uhhhh it’s a 3 mana 3/2 weapon I guess. Probably slots into a slower shaman deck just as a form of removal where you sometimes buff your hero power totem.
Maybe it slots into aggro shaman, but I’d rather spend turn 3 using bonkers cards like totemic reflection or not equipping a weapon so I don’t have to break it for the Splitting Axe.
Inara Stormcrash
Unless Shaman gets a super THICC weapon to equip this is overall worse Doomhammer right? There is like no world this sticks so you HAVE to go for your OTK or whatever the turn you play this.
Even then the weapon they potentially get needs to be like a 4/3 or 5/3 because 2 durability means you can’t swing with it at all if you want benefit from this on a following turn.
Cloak of Shadows
And the deck was still largely a meme. Being the best deck in a mediocre class doesn’t suddenly make the cards good.
Jewel of N'Zoth
I understand that, but like I said if you are going for that play that requires like 1/3 of your deck to cost 6+…..in hunter that is the class with no healing and no board clears.
Tickatus
I mean the issue is there is what? Just Twisting Nether to corrupt this really? MAYBE Malicia, but that depends on if you run the soul fragment package.
Drawing him first isn’t too big of a deal in warlock since he can be tutored with Sense Demons, but I just have a feeling this guy is going to rot in your hand for like 10 turns. Even with this you are probably still going close to even in fatigue due to Life Tap and the Sense Demons.
Strongman
I think the last thing you want to do is make this card cost MORE with Embiggen since it makes him that much harder to corrupt.
Magicfin
Play this and trade in my entire board for potential pay off 4 turns from now when I can play my clunky high cost garbage or play bloodlust and kill people?
If I have a wide board where this can be useful the LAST thing I want to do is trade, especially when chances are the trades are bad since murlocs only have on average like 2 or 3 attack.
Jewel of N'Zoth
But why not just run Vectus? Hunter struggles too much to make it so they can consistently summon like 3 6+ drops from this and it itself costs 8 so this really only “shines” if you can afford to run like 6+ high end cards (including this) and are able to pull multiple taunts/rush off it as well so you don’t die the turn you play it.
Shadow Clone
At worst it is slightly worse Vaporize (since you take the damage), but there is a pretty decent chance you can remove what hit you with spells.
If anything depending on board state this isn’t a TERRIBLE on curve activator for Greyheart Sage since I wouldn’t feel too bad about a 2 mana 3/2 stealth or something.
Grand Totem Eys'or
It most definitely would be. There’s definitely a world where this thing sticks around for a turn and if it included itself it would be a baseline 1/5 that snowballs. Mana Tide doesn’t always get removed on curve and it would have 2 less health and doesn’t beat over tokens.
Cenarion Ward
Moonglade Portal was arguably a better card and didn’t see play so I don’t see this seeing play either. It’s not something you feel bad about generating but an on average like 7/7 or something that gives 8 armor is incredibly slow and they can always just ignore whatever you summon.
Also, 10 mana combo of summoning two 8 drops isn’t worth running this card for since chances are you’d rather spend the eclipse on something else beforehand. I’d rather my cards be flexible and not be solely reliant on another card to be viable.
4/10 but expect to see a clip of someone pulling Octosari
Zai, the Incredible
Where do the copies go? If they both get added directly to the right of their respective cards this at least has mild synergy with outcast (eye beam probably being the only relevant one since casting 3+ SoG is speedrunning to fatigue).
If they both go all the way to the right though this card pretty much dooms any outcast effect since you’d copy it and it would now be 4+ cards from the left instead of next to it.
Edit: didn’t read it only draws minions, but even still I don’t think you can probably play a deck with enough demons to reliably activate the second effect.
Does increase the likelihood of it fitting in more decks though since something like Galakrond Warlock would be more than happy pulling any of Invokes or Kronx and Control Warlock can pretty easily tutor defensive cards since it doesn’t run THAT many minions (and 3 mana sometimes draw Crazed Netherwing is pretty good).
