Wriggling Horror
Zoo/token card. Honestly it might even be decent enough for Face Hunter, although they are super clogged on 2s.
Trampling Rhino
Pour one out for Knuckles.
This card would be way better if Druid didn’t ruin Guardian Animals, but is still probably good enough to slot into a slower Hunter deck if one exists.
Safety Inspector
Well it’s probably one of the best hits off First Day of School, but is too minor of an effect to be ran in your actual deck. Think they could’ve pushed for it being a 2 mana 2/3 shuffle up to 2 or something.
Ring Matron
I mean….it’s a ball of stats, but I don’t see anyone paying 6 mana for THIS ball of stats.
Maybe we somehow miraculously get to the amount of demons where this can be a 4 drop from the draw spell, but the front end of this has such bad stat allocation there is no way you are spending 6.
Revolve
Well, the issue here is it isn’t very good removal like Devolve to get rid of taunts or whatever since your minions aren’t going to be able to attack and it isn’t as good as an evolve effect for your side most likely.
I really don’t know what deck would even want this which seems to be pretty in theme for Shaman this expansion.
Relentless Pursuit
Bit of a reach to play in your actual deck. Probably could’ve given 5 to make it +HP activate the Bladed Lady.
Redscale Dragontamer
I mean Nzoth Paladin did need a murloc that wasn’t necessarily the Prime.
Maybe some tier 3/4 murloc paladin deck also runs this to tutor the 5 drop that gives your murlocs divine shield.
Redeemed Pariah
Ew this should’ve been buffed from any card “Outcasted” similar to Altruis. If they had to move around numbers so be it, but this is 100% unplayable.
Open the Cages
I mean this will either trigger and give a “3 drop” OR give you a 3/3 from Petting Zoo….which will then probably trigger this. Card is probably one of the better cards in the set and slots into any hunter deck not going for maxima memes.
Mystery Winner
1 mana 1/1s that give a card have almost always seen play. This card discovering is just icing on the cake. The only archetype this most likely doesn’t slot into is Face Hunter, but that might depend on if Face Hunter shifts to Petting Zoo or not.
Moontouched Amulet
But why go through the hoops when Bite is only marginally worse? This isn’t coming down until at least turn 5 anyway.
Midway Maniac
If Zoo is good this is good. This card is ridiculous with any sort of buff on it since Scrap Imp turns it into a 2 mana 3/6 (man that’s almost like the DH fel puppy).
Man'ari Mosher
Galakrond Warlock runs a lot of 3s already I am pretty sure, but holy hell is this a good card if you get a target for it. Turns your random leftover 1/1s into value trading machines that heal for 4.
Knife Vendor
I thought we were supposed to power creep older cards? This is just way worse Lifedrinker. For the low low cost of “7” (taking 4 instead of healing 3) damage to my face I get 1 more to the opponent and 1 more health on an understatted minion.
Inconspicuous Rider
If you run Secrets you probably play this card. It’s really not that complicated.
Arcane Keysmith saw play at 4 mana and potentially gave you garbage. This gives you a card you put in your deck on purpose.
Gyreworm
If Elemental Mage works this is a 2 of. If not it’s never seeing play since I don’t think amy other class would run it since even in “Menagerie” decks the Amalgam is a way better Elemental.
Grand Finale
If it was elemental “summoned” this would be absolutely disgusting follow up for whatever the “coming down the mountain” 7/8 is.
Either way the dream curve is summoning the 2 7/8s and if they don’t remove them you win. If they do remove them you play this for 2 8/8s and you try again. Is that good enough? Possibly, but Elemental Tempo-y Mage I don’t think has TOO many good elementals in Standard, but the new 2 drop is definitely a good push in the right direction since it is “3” activators in 1.
G'huun the Blood God
PROBABLY sees play for high roll potential since hitting Galakrond or something is pretty ridiculous. The issue is Control Priest runs both extremes of the spectrum where this could draw you a 1 drop where the “discount” isn’t as good or a Plague of Death that potentially sets up lethal for the opponent.
Regardless I’m sure you still play it in most priest decks that can afford to play it with it probably being best in a midrangey minion based priest deck with this on the top end. Whether or not that deck works? Idk, but this is definitely very good if you can play something like a taunt alongside it (potentially the 3 mana 4/7).
Game Master
If you only play this to combo with a single secret in one turn it is a Kirin Tor Mage with 2 less attack. Obviously the huge upside over Kirin Tor Mage is slamming it on 2 and it sticking, but I still don’t believe in the Secret Mage dream.
If Secret Mage does work this obviously slots in the Standard deck, but that I still feel is a big if.
Really good card and is live against quite a few classes on turn 3. Warrior needs all the help it can get going into this rotation.
