I feel like on turn 8 a 2 damage HK is way too hard to accomplish. Even token druid boards usually get to 3+ health due to arbor up or whatever else. In that scenario the tradeable 1 damage AoE helps I guess, but now we are at a 10 mana combo against an aggro deck….
I guess you can highroll it off Vandarr and autowin with this against the on curve glowfly swarm.
Sigil of Reckoning
I think it’s bad an argument can be made this is somehow worse than the 6 mana deathrattle minion with this effect. The deathrattle can at least be pulled with proving grounds so you only have to wait ONE turn to attack with your minion.
This has to wait a turn to go off and then ANOTHER turn for summoning sickness. Imagine pulling Antaen off this. Yikes.

The 5 mana board clear from KnC (I believe) wasn’t an autolose if it hit something like AI because 5 mana hellfire isn’t game losing and is still usually good enough to clear aggro boards on curve. Would you rather it dealt 5 or more? Yeah, obviously, but it was still a beneficial effect.
The legendary drawing ignite and an AI completely bricks your hand and gives you a 6 mana 2/3 to just auto lose with.
Balinda Stonehearth
And think about how absolute garbage it would be to play a 6 mana 2/2 draw 2 5 mana Ignites. You pretty much auto lose if the bunker or legendary hits anything under like 5 mana.

No doubt the card can be insane, but unless Mage gets a huge overhaul in core set rotation I am just not seeing it. The issue with a card like this is currently twofold imo.
1) Not enough big spells. No brainer.
2) Not enough minions to facilitate a big spell deck post rotation. Upon thinking about it a bit more this and the Fort DO have Grand Finale as a target and there are currently enough elementals to sort of supplement that kind of package. The issue is that is all going bye-bye next year and Mage has gotten hardly any minions this current rotation to fill all the holes. If you are running a deck with 7 big spells or whatever you kind of need 23 decent minions to fill out the deck….and mage just doesn’t have that right now.
Iceblood Tower
Oh I am with you 100%. I am just saying even WITH cheating it out with Clumsy Courier or whatever, there still aren’t enough big spells to pull with this to make it worthwhile.
In Standard we have what over 5 mana? Flamestrike and Deep Freeze? Not only is Flamestrike not good in today’s metagame, but I definitely don’t want to randomly cast it on empty boards.

Half the mage cards revealed….where are the big spells at? With this and the fort they pretty much all need to be big spells to have enough targets since as of right now we have just Deep Freeze in Standard pretty much (imagine playing Flamestrike in current year).
Captain Galvangar
Get some copy effects like Bloodsworn and we’re talking, but until then I don’t see this being too good since it is only slightly better Alexstrasza. Control Warrior needs more damage than this to close games and playing this also means not playing the “Big Warrior” stuff.
The Lobotomizer
5/5 for name
2/5 for actual card. Rogue has fewer ways to manipulate honorable kill compared to DH and Shank is probably just a better weapon in same rotation.
Xyrella, the Devout
I just don’t see the point of this card. It doesn’t help Priest do anything. It’s effectively useless against aggro because if you get to turn 8 you already won and it is useless against combo because it’s too slow.
That means this is good for outvaluing other control decks, but if you want to play a card only for that purpose I got a questline to sell you.
Spring the Trap
I mean it’s cool we get to draw and pull so many Secrets from the deck, but uhhhhh where are the Secrets?
Najak Hexxen
At the absolute WORST it’s 4 mana 1/4 freeze a minion with a near limitless upside from that.
Cera'thine Fleetrunner
There’s no real payoff for burgle style cards right now and with how low the curve of printed minions have been this year, it isn’t like you are getting huge value from this. Prestor at least on average gives you something decent (due to lower pool to choose from). This is going to just give you like 1 mana 3/4s and 0 mana 2/1s.
Sacrificial Summoner
There isn’t nearly enough good deathrattle zoo stuff for this. Also, 3 mana for basically an evolve effect is too much. 2 mana 2/2 would be better especially that way you most likely aren’t pulling the other copy of this when you kill something (like you currently would with nerubian egg).
Dreadprison Glaive
I think this really isn’t THAT hard to manipulate especially with your hero power giving you a lot of range to work with.
With just like Chaos Strike and like Fury Rank 1 in hand you can get anywhere from 1-6 on this.
Dun Baldar Bunker
If Secrets are good this is good. The issue is Hunter doesn’t have many good Secrets and I’m not sure we’re going to be getting a lot of them at this rate with half the hunter cards revealed and 2 of the ones left are a hero and a legendary.
Ram Tamer
I mean it’s good, but Hunter needs good secrets. This is directly competing with a 3 mana 6/6 for having a secret active and that card sees no play because it’s just way too easy to trigger the secrets to deny these sort of effects.
Wing Commander Ichman
Tavish, in the same rotation, costs way less than this for a similar effect and sees absolutely 0 play. This even at 7 mana would be questionable.
Druid needs it I swear
