Gorloc Ravager
This is an absurd pull off the warlock dredge minion that makes it cost health, but man does it suck if you are spending 5 mana on it.
Rock Bottom
Lost in the Jungle with upside. Against decks with a bad hero power this can snowball really hard with the handbuff hitting for +3/+3 on turn 2.
Seafloor Gateway
Assuming enough mechs are available this is pretty much a palm reading except you are guaranteed a “good” card since the card you get you specifically put in your deck. I wouldn’t sleep on this as that’s A LOT of mana cheating in I am assuming a classic curvestone style deck.
Security Automaton
All I ever see with these is wild handbuff mech paladin. I’d have to see the entire list, but I don’t think this is quite good enough in standard especially without ways buff it easier because at least in wild you can smugglers run and this as a 2/4 pretty much always sticks on curve and can super snowball.
Seaweed Strike
I’d argue this is probably better than the amulet this is replacing for questline druid. Is that deck good? Probably not, but this card isn’t exactly terrible if you randomly generate it.
Selfish Shellfish
I mean it’s a big dumb beast for decks that care about that. Obviously, Guardian Animals is rotating, but if we get something similar it would’ve probably made the cut.
Swiftscale Trickster
Too expensive, bad stats, and rogue has like no worthwhile big spells to my knowledge and you’d want quite a few for this to be worth playing. Druid ran like…..6 or so enablers for the 0 mana taunt from Uldum and it was always just an “okay” card that didn’t feel unfair.
Sira'kess Cultist
I like how we live in a world where you can have premium statted minions that do things like discover a good card, but we can’t have DECENT stats on a card that does nothing.
0.5/5 should’ve printed more murlocs.
Swordfish
Here’s the issue. This has pretty horrendous synergy in the deck you’d play it in. If you play the Aszharan Ship or whatever the 5 mana spell is, you’d probably want to pick it with your dredges….but you don’t want to pick it with this.
Yes, it is obviously insane if you hit this on curve, but I am still not entirely convinced there are enough great pirates for this to be consistent without compromising your deck.
Twin-fin Fin Twin
At worst it is a 1 power less Restless Mummy for 1 less mana, but this card gets absolutely insane the second it gets handbuffed. It is probably the biggest benefiter and enabler of the warlock handbuff spell.
Vicious Slitherspear
SLIGHTLY worse than the 1/2 spellburst, but that card was pretty insane. This probably just gets thrown in like every aggro deck that has a decent amount of spells.
Bottomfeeder
If it sees play it will be as a Dire Mole with potential upside and nothing else. A lot of hoops to go through for mediocre payoff. At least you could POTENTIALLY topdeck any of the other “shuffle bigger minion in deck” style cards.
Also, I feel like if you are remotely ahead on board (you’re token druid so you better be) and you use the 0 mana Dredge spell and see a board buff next to the second half of this, you still aren’t picking it.
Za'qul
This archetype is dead on arrival. Only 4 slots left and I just don’t see it especially when the 2 cards we DO have cost an obscene amount of mana and can’t combo. It’s just not impactful enough and control/combo warlocks need a lot of help.
Spitelash Siren
I mean it is definitely good, but this is no Darkglare. Darkglare was cheaper and also had WAY more 1 mana enablers allowing you to go “infinite”. This most likely just ends up being a 0 mana 2/4 that has a soft taunt since there aren’t nearly enough cheap nagas printed right now for this to get insane value. Also, you need to go Naga first which means you are looking at like turn 6 “playability” with the amalgam (if it was spell first you could have used coin on 4).
Chum Bucket
Worth just saying AT WORST it is a 2 mana Smuggler’s Run with nothing on board, which is definitely not good, but it does mean that it scales incredibly hard off like Tidehunter giving +3/+3.
Chum Bucket
This sees play in murloc warlock regardless, but it is entirely dependent on effective token effects for how “insane” it can be since you don’t want to have to REALLY play a bunch of murlocs to get the buff.
If warlock gets a lost in the jungle or alleycat style card this is probably one of the most insane highrolls in the same vein as prenerf imprisoned scrap imp except you can play the buffed minions on turn 3 (or turn 2 if Tinyfin sticks around).
Ini Stormcoil
At minimum you probably only really need a 3 attack minion for this card to be good. It is more conditional than Zilliax and doesn’t have lifesteal (and I suppose taunt, but most decks could kill the leftover 2 health from hand), but you are also able to clear potentially 2 minions and be left with AT LEAST a 4/4.
Smothering Starfish
It’s amazing how insane this effect is when it is on a Battlecry and not a Deathrattle. Who would’ve guessed?
A lot of classes don’t REALLY care if they silence their own board, and even then it is still probably worth silencing your deathrattle or whatever to push through something like the Shaman Colossus (which is unplayable with this card printed).
Glugg the Gulper
I mean, yeah, it is a big pile of stats, but that is all the big body is. The 2/2 taunts are kind of whatever and decently easy to remove so you could still potentially just be dead against aggro.
Also worth noting, is if these colossal minions actually see play, people will probably tech the tradeable silence minion where this colossal gets hurt the most by it.
Probably just play it in questline warrior. It’s good post juggernaut, but even beforehand it’s 2 mana Draw 3 “heal opponent for 3” when you destroy a 3/1 weapon or whatever.
