Primordial Wave
Devolve has been a mainstay in most Wild Shaman decks since it came out so I doubt people would care THAT much about a 1 mana increase.
Furthermore it isn’t like slower shaman decks wouldn’t benefit from an evolve effect as hitting something like a Dungeoneer is pretty huge as a lot of “value” cards aren’t great stats for cost.
Front Lines
Filling your opponent’s board with charge minions is never a good idea. Cards like Brasswing aren’t really enough to carry this especially since you aren’t even guaranteed a big board (if they have 4 in play you only get 3).
This also suffers from the same issue as other “big” decks in that the “big” cards are total bricks and lead to unplayable hands. This and Cavalry Horn aren’t enough to support this type of strategy especially with the horn being a really stinky card on its own (5 mana war axe is unplayable as you aren’t killing anything that late with it).
Igneous Lavagorger
I mean it’s a not terrible Dredge card to combo with From the Depths. Yes, you lose out on the armor, but people are acting like a slightly understatted taunt with upside isn’t playable.
Commander Ulthok
What? This card is absolute cheeks. I guess it is supposed to be like Loatheb or whatever, but the Warrior is still going to Brawl or Shield Shatter you.
Command of Neptulon
Remember when druid had to complete a quest to get 2 5 power rush minions for 5 mana?
Neptulon the Tidehunter
The big issue with this card is it costs 10 mana. It is very comparable to Onyxia (the good one) in that it at least will clear taller boards, but this is really bad against wide boards of smaller things as you only get 2 attacks as opposed to 7.
Worth noting is this card at least poses more lethality than Onyxia since if you only clear the hands he domes you for 14 next turn.
I think this card might be worth considering next year post rotation, but as it stands I don’t think decks like Ramp Druid need more late game value and this card is definitely up to get cut before Onyxia or Kazakusan.
Ozumat
That’s A LOT of stats for cost. Sure the effect isn’t “great”, but there will always be the possibility of reaching a critical mass of board fillers that one will eventually stick for a card like Bloodlust or Power of the Wild or whatever to be lethal “out of nowhere”.
Coilfang Constrictor
I wouldn’t COMPLETELY write it off, but I am not going to say this is any better than like 3 stars. It gives information and can completely ruin some turns especially questline hunter/warrior where even if you don’t hit the reward you probably delay completion an entire turn by forcing awkward curves (locking a 3 drop so they have to go 4 instead of 3+2 on 5 or something).
Snapdragon
I mean it’s good if there is a deck that can support it. Elemental Shaman is the first one that comes to mind for me as iirc most the elementals are battlecries along with the utility cards like primal dungeoneer (which would draw you a gavel to further synergize with battlecries).
Bubbler
This card just seems bad and not worth the amount of effort to protect it. Outside of obviously outright losing to 1 damage hero powers, do you really want to constantly overtrade into 1/1s to protect this?
The payoff for this isn’t remotely comparable to Peasant and that card can at least be buffed to offset the 1 health.
Hydralodon
Seems too whatever. Funny enough this card is pretty “bad” on any cheater ways to bring it out (revive pet or the card on bottom of deck) as the rush is tied to a battlecry.
Anchored Totem
If there is an efficient card that summons a bunch of “1 drops” like call in the finishers or derailed coaster this card is good I guess, but I don’t even see that being too insane.
Blood in the Water
Baited Arrow was a sus card in Hunter. This has Rush, sure, but it is so expensive I don’t see it working out.
Filletfighter
I don’t think we need to dig from the bottom of the barrel that much for this in some sort of pirate rogue. The 2/1 combo 1 drop from darkmoon felt really bad when it didn’t do at least 2-3 damage to kill a minion. This is hard capped at 1.
Probably too niche tbh. It doesn’t really matter if you give an aggro deck the “best” option, but against slower decks where the value is important….getting effectively a “random” legendary isn’t great.
