Lady Ashvane
Tbf lorewise Lady Ashvane isn’t a naga and just a human corrupted by Azshara/N’Zoth. She didn’t really take too kindly too her makeover.
Lady Ashvane
Not seeing it. Greenskin had pirate synergy and krastinov was usually the better play since it did something proactive on the mana slot.
This is a value card on 5 mana where it really feels too late to actually “matter”. Hobart Grapplehammer had a worse effect, but at least came down before your weapons and saw 0 play in the meta where Warrior was probably running the most weapons (mean streets).
Pirate Admiral Hooktusk
Yeah idk. This is a turbo value card in a class that still has 0 healing. Even if you play this on curve SOMEHOW and pick the fearsome “better tickatus” option, you are still going to be hard pressed to be able to play all those cards before you’re dead.
Also, the decks you’d pick that option against (control) can give you literal unplayable garbage. Sure, it denies them the resource, but adding cards like Shield Slam or some of the Priest holy/shadow spell lovers to your hand isn’t exactly “great”.

I mean it isn’t confirmed, but Eye Beam is CURRENTLY in the core set. Is it possible that demon hunter initiate stays forever? Absolutely, but unless it is confirmed staying I would just assume virtually everything is rotating especially considering how much got booted out from classic/basic when they introduced the core set last year.
Radar Detector
Well first of all 6/5 stars for wild this is probably 2 mana draw 3 at least due to the sheer amount of “playable” mechs and handbuffing.
For standard if you can remotely consistently get draw 2 out of this it is good. The issue is though that paladin has few mechs atm and this set is going to probably get split up too much with holy support and mech support that neither really works out. Core set could change things obviously.
Lady S'theno
I mean it is marginally better than Kreen, but Kreen wasn’t very good to begin with so that is a really low bar. I mean you probably just put it in like Fel DH, but I feel like this is just a pretty expensive combo piece for board control especially with cheap cards like Eye Beam rotating.
Pirate Admiral Hooktusk
I swear people that comment need to learn what “discover” means in hearthstone.
Whirlpool
It would be all minions on board and all copies of them in hand/deck. It is an AoE Flik Skyshiv so if you hit, idk, your own Kazakusan you played last turn you’d destroy the one in your opponent’s deck.
This card is horrendously bad though at 9 mana since it is 1 more mana for a twisting nether which is already typically too slow. By turn 9 chances are your opponent is AT LEAST halfway through their deck so the dupes are low and even then problem cards are usually legendaries or spells.
Trenchstalker
Seems like a good card to randomly get, but idk about hardrunning it especially with the lack of any real synergies. Yeah it can go face for 8, but so can the legendary from last set for 3 less mana and that card is a questionable include.
Whirlpool
I mean it costs 9 mana for a potentially better twisting nether in a world where twisting nether is a questionable card to play. This should’ve at least poofed minions to avoid deathrattles if it is going to cost this much.
We saw before with Flik that the “all copies” clause is so incredibly niche it really doesn’t matter that much and Flik was way more flexible and provided tempo as he only cost 6.
Slithering Deathscale
If people aren’t playing the more flexible board clear that is the Sneed’s legendary for 1 more mana, I don’t think this is happening.
This card’s only saving grace is if they print a mana cheater like Frizz Kindleroost and a Naga deck takes off.
Coral Keeper
This just feels like arguably better Glaceon or whatever the bear legendary from last set is. Sure, it is less stats and you don’t get the freeze effect, but this is WAY easier to activate and Shaman already is incentivized to run all the schools for the minion that draws a bunch of cards.
Azsharan Gardens
Mark of the lotus affected minions on board not hand which means it actually did something for token druid who summons all their minions with spells. Druid doesn’t USUALLY get wide boards by simply playing minions from hand which is why I said taunt druid is pretty much the only place this would maybe see play and even that is probably a reach.
Bioluminescence
Well unfortunately, or fortunately I suppose, molten blast rotated as that and this would be 6 mana +8 spell damage after quest completion.
This will be in standard for 2 entire years so I feel like in that time SOMETHING will break this.
Handmaiden
Well it only took like 50 years, but Priest has acquired good card draw. Don’t know if there are enough spells to make this consistent for aggro priest though where it is needed more.
Azsharan Gardens
I mean…..taunt druid I guess can utilize hand buffs? This seems not good enough though even if you can immediately dredge the second half.
Crabatoa
I mean there isn’t really a rogue weapon that will be running around. Weapon rogue is dead without cutting class and cloak of shadows and MOST LIKELY deadly poison.
Also, the weapons are 1 durability so you just trade with a claw, swing with your face, and then trade the other claw. It’s a 6 mana 6/5 deal 4 twice to minions and at least 6 to face if you use both weapons face.
What a weird stat spread. I guess it is supposed to be a sort of defensive spreading plague card? DH doesn’t have ways to buff these to actually put pressure on the opponent besides Fields of Strife and that card is not very good.
2.5/5 might see play in like Fel DH if it needs help stabalizing against aggro on turn 6, but this card is such an unbelievably bad topdeck idk.
