Malevolent Strike
This needs to cost like 1 for it to be better than Coerce. So unless you are playing a dedicated shuffle strategy I don’t see this seeing play with just the ticket guy.
Guess the Weight
2 mana most likely draw 2 lets you fish for Overgrowth and such much more consistently on curve.
If anything this card is definitely only of the better options in the Nature Studies pool if it doesn’t see play in your actual deck.
Fire Breather
I think the issue with this card is honestly the fact it only does 2 damage. 3 health is a much more common amount since there are a lot of 1/3s and 2/3s floating around. If more lower health minions are floating around, sure it’ll see play, but this isn’t clearing nearly as many boards as Shattershard Mystic.
Occult Conjurer
Pretty sure Mage is going to still need more Tempo/Burn secrets before the archetype kicks off. Explosive Runes is still one of the main reasons the deck is good in wild and standard only really has Mirror Entity.
Tent Trasher
I mean I don’t disagree with the take either. If you are going for this whole N’Zoth play, you don’t want cheap minions in the pool meaning the likelihood of this coming down early is very low since your only real “discount” is the pirate. The mech will probably be the 4 mana taunt so on curve you don’t even get a “discount” since chances are you can’t utilize the 1 mana you save on turn 5 (assuming the mech sticks).
I still think the better managerie target is going to be Scion of Ruin in a Galakrond package since the buff from the weapon gets tripled and Scion is MUCH better at stabalizing before the N’Zoth turn.
Is your N’Zoth worse? Absolutely, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t play him at all and frankly you are already most likely getting a decently sized taunt off the N’Zoth anyway.
Wicked Whispers
Yeah idk. Going strictly -1 for an effect that already is valued at 1 mana (Mark of the Lotus) is just not good. Maybe if more disco synergy is printed it could be mediocre, but as it stands your ONLY positive outcome is Boneweb Egg which requires you having no 1 or 2 drops in hand.
3/10 unless more useful aggro discard support is printed
High Exarch Yrel
The card is obviously good, but out of all things I don’t think Paladin needs another thick 8 power taunt that heals for 8.
Balloon Merchant
Thank god it costs 4 and not 5. This card would’ve been disgusting in odd paladin in wild I feel.
The Nameless One
Silence isn’t in any decks besides priest (and DH) because they rotated Spellbreaker. No one wants to run a 3 mana 2/1. Spellbreaker had a “decent” enough body you didn’t feel about playing it for Tempo.

So what exactly is the Tess change? Just looks like wording change unless it literally gives you the the board they had (buffs included), but I don’t think they would do that considering Bigglesworth exists and it would be 20 times better than his.
Prize Plunderer
Rogue doesn’t need more minion removal when they have backstab, brain freeze, and Coerce so this straight up isn’t seeing play.
If a 1 mana deal 4-6 to a minion saw no play in Hunter who needed the removal, I don’t see this card seeing remotely any play in a class with plenty of removal AND this is at most doing 3-4. Also, a 2/1 extra body on turn 6 or whatever isn’t worth incorporating into the equation.
Petting Zoo
3 mana 6/6 on curve fairly easily where it gets even bigger. Half your secrets aren’t getting triggered on turn 2 unless they have exactly a 1 drop to attack with.
Imagine Tour Guide->Phase Stalker+HP->this. Most decks aren’t recovering from that sheer amount of tempo with the EARLIEST board clear that can get rid of it being like Hellfire on 4 (which Warlock doesn’t run).
Maxima Blastenheimer
“Guarenteed” on you running literally no other minions and having massive bricks in your deck because holy hell is the tonk bad on its own. Oh and you have to draw a one of in a class that has no good draw options and can’t run the neutral ones.

Putting “bad” cards in your deck to justify a one-of legendary never works out and it isn’t even like you can “cheese” it by using Polkelt to actually draw it consistently because any remotely worthwhile targets cost more than this.
2/10 Boomzooka saw literally 0 play and pulled 3x the minions.
Darkmoon Tonk
There isn’t nearly enough deathrattle support or payoff in standard for this to be worth anything. The body is bad and you are most likely not getting that much of a payoff out of this. The sad part about this card is it only took 2 years for Oblivitron to get a target in standard.

I would assume so since cards like Puzzle Box/Solarian will not target Elusive targets for their effects.

I’m not even really worried about Priest with this tbh. The bigger sinners are probably going to be Mage (hell they can sometimes cast 10 spells in 1 turn with enough Ray of Frost) or Penflinger Paladin.
This card is going to just be played in decks as a “contingency” in case you are behind because ALL results while behind are incredibly broken with you only potentially killing yourself 24% of the time. The remaining 76% of the time (and a decent amount of times on the 10 random spells) you are pretty much going to get a board clear with upsides. Whether it be 5 more random spells in hand (since they don’t get discarded like Evocation), “summoning” 3 minions of your opponent’s after getting rid of them, or having a like 20/20 Yogg on the board, this card is pretty much always a positive outcome.
Fortune Teller
Wow this card is bad. You would need like 4 spells for this card to be “okay” and even that is pushing it. That means you need like 7 cards in hand on turn 5 in a class with next to no draw power just for your big pay off to be a 7/7 taunt.
Warlock has much easier access to a 5 mana 7/8 taunt (they have life tap and sense demons) and that card also sees next to no play.

Voracious Reader
Also worth noting unlike Jeeves it is way easier to dump your hand the turn you play this card to guarantee you get more cards.
I feel like this needs 3 durability or something. I mean sure it’s “good”, but I just don’t see it being super strong or anything. If anything it has anti-synergy with your “infinite” weapon for Secret Hunter that is Eaglehorn Bow.
