the power that unstable portal has (and also the reason why the card is to good and a horrible design) is that on turn 2 it can be played and on turn 3 you can already play a 6 mana minion you got from it. the card isn’t balanced because it is to good in to many ways

not all legendaries have to have unique or super cool effects

its one of the better beasts even without the battlecry the stats are great for 5 mana with a 3/3

I think the portal is best against slow decks that don’t have good board clears, so anything exept priest, mage or paladin really

he doesn’t target creatures that are frozen already, so this guy is fine on 4 mana since you can freeze someone’s board with lots of spells

the raptor would have the same card text and loses the deathrattle

waaaaiiiit, its a battlecry….. oh well forget all that its a pretty good card, 2 bodies have their edvantages and disadvantages so… I guess if a mage deck has a spot this could be put in

I don’t like it, this card can only go 2 ways:

1. its just as good as piloted shredder making it a card used in almost every mage deck (which wouldn’t be fun since piloted goes away for a reason)

2. its not good, it can’t compete with the other 6 mana drops and the 3 mana minions are pretty weak without their battlecry, making this card just as ‘good’ as mounted raptor which doesn’t see play

I think it’ll be the first one since the 6 mana minions are mostly pretty weak, but the 3 drops really are alot worse than the 2 drops in my opinion

FOfoksake and how much is polymorph actually run, and what about hex? entomb costs 6 mana making him use half of his mana making sap the best way to deal with it

you are talking crazy here are you saying that you can’t use this card against shaman (hex) or mage (polymorph)? Those cards aren’t used that much so first of all the class must be shaman or mage and second of all they MUST be running those cards or discover cards. otherwise they will need to have a silence AND hard removal at the same time in their hand without the silence used bevore or perhaps the hard removal on one of your other big dragons. this card is actually pretty strong because the ways of dealing with it are limited. the only weakness I see this card having is that its very slow indeed, but this could be run to bgh it on your turn and have 7 mana left for spells (with malygos in your hand just getting played through deathwing), or this could just be run with lots of huge dragons, or perhaps just a dragon deck, so many ways to use this card, you mustn’t look at it from the bad sides, you should look at its potential

battlecry first I think, since both discarding and destroying are in the same battlecry it probably will happen first, therefor all cards will be discarded at the same time deathwing, dragonlord dies, so the deathrattle won’t do anything

than again, IF you can make naga sea witch stick you could also just summon y’shaarj, ragnaros or ysera. the problem is not with deathwing, dragonlord but with naga sea witch who almost never survives 1 turn and also could just make your spells super expensive

embrace of shadows is also much better because I saw a tournament fight once and the guy lost because he couldn’t heal because of the ouchenai soulpriest. this card gives you control over when you can heal and when not so you are able to control the effect.

might as well play dark whispers, its 1 mana cheaper
