Hecklefang Hyena
eeeeeeehh…. n-no. Come again when we have these 5 mana 8/8s again. 1 star.
Taurajo Brave
This will see play, in one way or anything. It’s just such a nice card to have fo whenever you can’t of anything, but you still want this semi controlling style deck. This is a pretty nice 6 mana card, escpially for Tempo or Midrange. It’s a 4/8 with a delayed Deadly Shot, but it’s either going to intimate the opponent for have it be forced to be destroyed instead. 4 stars.
Burning Blade Acolyte
Don’t look at the minion, look at the Deathrattle instead. This is great for Egg Decks. Had Deathrattle from Un’goro was still there, and he would have gone bonkers with Burning blade Acolyte. We just need to find ways to cheat the activation for Deathratles. But once we do, man are cards like these going to pop off all of a sudden. 4 Stars.
Razormane Raider
Update; I’m giving this a chance, and It deserves 3 Stars. My misunderstanding about this card back then was that I thought that Frenzy was that you also needed to kill a minion. But It’s actually that you need to survive damage. It’s Reverse overkill in a way.
Kindling Elemental
I’m not too sure how I feel about effectly having a 0 mana Fire Fly in Hearthstone. If you were to keep that Value of Discount thenyeah sure, Kingling is pretty good. I think this is more to do with both elemental Mage and Some form of Shamn Deck, maybe still evolve shaman, since they want to get a much minions as possible, and then effectly buffing them up with evolves and such.
I’ll keep an eye on it, but right now it gets 3 stars.
Lushwater Murcenary
5 Stars instantly, no questions asked. Every Murloc Deck would want this, especially when it’s also got Rush.
Sunwell Initiate
Eeeeehh… Just get Reborn. 2 Stars. The only reason why this is not 1, is becuase what if it gets buffed by someone like Paladin? It effectively requires about 3 minions for Sunwell to die if it weren’t for the spells.
Lushwater Scout
5 Stars instantly, for Murloc Decks. Without a Doubt. No questions asked. Every Murloc deck would want this.
Talented Arcanist
Celestial Emissary finally returns to Hearthstone, this gets 5 Stars. You need to understand just how Abuard Both mage and Shaman are having it with their Phenoixes, right? So why not with thier Aranists as well? Plus, imagine just how strong priest gets all of a sudden. that’s a 4 mana deal 5 damage to all enemies by turn 10 even.
I don’t think you such underestimate to what Talented Arcanist can pull off. Whenever you need that bit of an extra boost, it’s got your back.
Death's Head Cultist
This is excatly what Zoolock wants, being able to undo the Card Draw given. Maybe Paladin will Join in, becuase they have Rally.to heal themselves. You would think that this card would be bad, but in reality, its not as bad we assume of it. Maybe Demon Hunter can try it now, since they now have Deathrattle Synergy. I’ll give this 4 Stars.
Toad of the Wilds
It gets the Job done, but from what I see, only Shamans and Druids? can use this right now. still, getting a 2 mana 2/4 is pretty nice to get. 4 Stars if buffed.
Darkspear Berserker
Remember when Hench-Clan Shadequill was being used? No? Me Neither. ALTHOUGH! If you were to give this some Buffs and this is all of a sudden a terrifying card.
Maybe Darkspear isn’t to bad after all. 3 Stars.
Oasis Thrasher
This seems to be an aggro card, and that’s trying to be looked at by turn 2. It can get the job then, but only by the very early stages of the game. Otherwise your 2 mana 2/3 might as well meet it’s devolved species, the River Crocalisk.
But other then that, so long at this is played by like turn 2-4 even, this gets 4 stars. Afterwhich it quick drops down to 3 on turn 5, 2 on 6 and 1 on 7 and over. If you can Buff it, then fine, it’s good.
Barrens Trapper
This is more fitted for Tonk Hunter and Peobaply Deathrattle Demon Hunter. Effectively making your tonks 6 mana even, with the Plague Studies. Yeah, 4 Stars.
Crossroads Gossiper
This is fine. I think Mage can find a home in this; just making the opponent do what he can to stop Crossroads. Some Secrets will be activated to protect your minion, as Paladin could try it as well if Secret paladin Turns out to be good.
4 Stars. I really think that there is a Secret deck out there that’s been looking for a card like this, as a way for Tempo Pressure.
Far Watch Post
This Can be quite a nuisance, although, I think the biggest problem about this card is that you either need to play it in the early game or you would need your opponent to respond, and it’s sadly one or the other. If you turn 10 or so, I worry that your opponent can just straight up ignore the Far Watch Post, so This feels more like an Anti miracle style deck. There’s just no real answer to where Far Watch post can go right now. Now, who knows. I could just be completely missing the idea that your opponent worries about Far Watch regardless, and HAS to destroy it or else the Mana Value is going to suffer too much for him, by, generally speaking, Usually, these 1 cost more haven’t truly done all that much, and yet 1 mana discounts do a whole bunch.
I’m just going to give it 3 stars. I’m completely missing the opportunity.
Gold Road Grunt
Had it been passive, and this would the most broken card yet. But it has Frenzy, and Frenzy is only activated once, sooo… Plus the pessimistic idea is just this takes 1 and then 6 damage. Ummm… I think you need to look forward to an Anti-Big / Control style Deck, for Gold Road to be good. It’s just that as of right now it seems to be to niche, But..! Give it some time, and I think Gold Road will have a Home. 3 Stars.
Gruntled Patron
If you can find a way to suddenly summon a bunch of Patrons. Maybe let’s say Gruntled into Minefield for example, then Warrior can easily make some form of TOken-style deck. This Card can be useful, but the way on what it desires seems to be a bit too clunky for it’s own tastes, but who knows, Maybe by 6 Mana is when we start pulling our hairs becuase now we have to deal with 3 3/2s on average. Doppleganster wasn’t really used for that sort of style, however, it was more used for evolve. eeeeeh… I’m going to pass, and give this 2 stars. It will see some experimentation, but unless there seems to be another way to really make this broken, I’m clearly not seeing it.
Hog Rancher
This is effectily just a 2 mana 3/2, and it cost 1 more for the newest Stonetusk Boar. Effectily replacing the Charge for a Rush, but with 1 more attack. This is fine, but I think Shamans will go for this the most, since they’ve got evolves and all that. 2 Stars for everyone else, 4 stars for Shamans.
So you both get the card. But why… exactly? Mill, maybe, but even then it just feels so awkward. Maybe it’s more to do with what Info your opponent has more then what you want from your opponent. This seems ooo-kay…? I guess. But I’m scratching my head for who really wants this, especially as a Scan-style Deck. I’m going to give this 3 Stars, but in the lowest 3 stars possible. It’s got usage, but as of right now NOBODY wants it. So much so that a lot of players are just dumbing it as a 1-2 star, and for decent reason as well.
