Guff Runetotem
I’m not ready to touch this just yet, since I’m heavily focused on Taunt Amalgam Druid, But I think he can be stupid when done right.
4 Stars, get Creative.
Sigil of Silence
EEh. This is fine, but I don’t know how actually good this will become. This will upset control Decks, for sure, but I don’t know how well it’s going to be. Just another experiment for me, and we’ll see how powerful it’s going to be.
3 stars.
Plaguemaw the Rotting
Eeeehhh….. It’s just not appetizing at first, but then when you actually try it out, it’s not that bad.
I think Hearthstone this time is really pushing out for Taunt Druid, and I’m working on Taunt Amalgam Druid, and I think it can work, but I wonder if it’s too many eggs in one basket, especially along with N’Zoth. or Carnival Clown.
3 Stars, I’m wiling to give it a chance.
Razormane Battleguard
This is pratically a 0 Mana 2/3 if you were to discount.
I’m also curious to put this with my Taunt Amalgam Druid, that I’m working on right now.
But yeah, Other then that, this is a VERY Strong card. 5 Stars across the board in my opinion. Whenever there is a discount, Druid loves it.
Vengeful Spirit
Eeehhh… We gotta wait for more Deathrattles, but it’s good.
2 Stars just becuase there’s clearly not enough Deathrattles yet for Demon Hunter, I think he still needs more. Once he gets enough good Deathrattles, this will be about 4 to 5 stars easily.
Blood Shard Bristleback
Well, I thought of the idea that by around turn 4-6+ is when your opponent is your average opponent is starting to play some taunts to protect itself. So, with the idea of just shoving either Taunts or Soft Taunts out the way, though it’s pretty unlikely since you need to draw out 20 of your cards out. Since you’d be going pretty much all in as a fast deck, You could try and use Blood Shard as a way to push some back.
Then again, looking back at it now, I think I might have made a mistake, for unrealistic it allsounds. Being able to draw out 20 of your cards, and your still somehow behind does sound off, not gonna lie.
Varden Dawngrasp
So, you either get a Free Frost Nova or side orders of Ice Lances along with a 3/3 Body for 4 Mana? Sign Mage right up. I thought about the copypasta idea of Paladin, becuase I felt the same power, where I could just rate as 5 Stars (which actually do deserve it), but I’m starting to get a feeling that we’ll probably get like maybe 1 to 2 more of these cards with such power, and if I want to rate them also 5 stars.
Now granted, this is a 4 mana 3/3 with a FREE Frost Nova. There’s nothing wrong you can do about that. I only wished I gave that Paladin legendary like maybe 4 stars of something, I don’t know, but, regardless, this card is universal.
Tavish Stormpike
It’s fine, it’s just that you can only really use this with Guardian Animals, and even then, i don’t think it’s exactly enough, but hey, that’s just me. BUT! Being able to recruit something, no matter how bad the stats are, is still pretty good to have. We’ll just have to see how good Tavish really is, but right now, with the beasts that we have, not looking too good.
3 Stars for now.
Blood Shard Bristleback
Yeah, this card is fine. But it seriously forces you to either play a REALLY Fast Deck, or a Controlock Deck.
4 Stars.
Soul Rend
Eeh. It’s fine. If anything, it’s just a Cheaper Deathwing Battlecry, but as a spell. I’m not too sure if Warlocks will go that far, Hey, who knows, maybe it’s just unappetizing at first and then it’s actually not too bad, but, yeah… losing 4-5 cards from 1 spell, dooooosen’t look too good.
I’m gonna give it the middleground and say it’s 3 stars, although I would say to just have 1 trim from Soul Rend.
Grimoire of Sacrifice
Eeeeh, it’s fine. THis is ment more for Egglock however, where they want to take the damage from the eggs, so they also get the minions from the Deathrattle. We’ll just see what will actually happen, but even as 1 mana that also requires a minion, but deals 2 damage to all, it should be fine.
Heart of C’thun is 3 to all minions, so I don’t see why some warlocks wouldn’t use Grimoire of Sacrifice.
3 Stars.
Cariel Roame
Yeah, 5 Stars Automatically. It’s a much better Glass Knight, that also has rush and replacing its text to make holy discounts? Sign Paladin Up! Paladins WILL use this. Nuff said. I think it’s almost universal for all Paladins to use it, too.
Veteran Warmedic
Now, before you panic about what Holy Spell is, For Paladin, you should be fine since most of your average spells are Holy. So, you should be fine with Veteran Warmedic. Now, I have no idea what will happen with Libram of Wisdom and see if it will be absolutely stupid, especially with the help of Lady Liandran, but we’ll see what will happen.
But yeah, This card is good. Now, the 2/2s with Lifesteal should also be noticed to not be taken lightly, becuase they WILL health the absolute out of Paladin if you delay for too much.
4 Stars, I like this.
Invigorating Sermon
This CAN be good, but the only problem about Invigoration Sermon is that you have about 10 turns to draw it out or otherwise it’s value won’t be as effective. Otherwise, This really belongs more for Dude Paladin or Paladin Paladin (Pure Paladin, like, Librams.)
5 Stars when pre 10 Mana, 4 Stars for Dude Paladin Overall, but 3 Stars for Post 10 Mana.
Priest of An'she
Eeeeehhh… 7 Mana 8/8 with Taunt by Default? It’s ooookaaayy… It’s fine. You really need to use this along with a Minion that has a Battlecry or Deathrattle with Restore Health.
3 Stars.
Mark of the Spikeshell
I actually think that Mark of the Shell is a Powerful Sleep Card, especially for something like Clown or Taunt Druid for example.
4 Stars. You can REALLY make use of Mark of Shell. I think people would just see Mark of Shell as a “not good enough” type card, but I see it a little bit better than a “2 mana 2/2 that draws a card.”
Hand of Adal was used in Paladin, so I’m sure Druid can find ways to use Mark of Shell, all I can see some trickery towards why some players don’t exactly like this card.
Living Seed (Rank 1)
‘m not too sure if Specific Beast Druid will use Living seed right now. 3 Stars.
I’m just completely lost with this card since we have Guardian Animals.
Kolkar Pack Runner
Pretty nice card. I’m seeing more for a Face-style Deck, where you actually want to keep the hyenas, if possible. Now, maybe You could make it at like some sort of Beast Centuric strategy since Dire Frenzy is out there as well, but, who knows. Experiments, Experiments.
Overall I’m going to give this 4 stars, and as a sleep card, just because you literally need to wake Kolkar up with the Hyenas, in using Cheap Spells. Or maybe there would be some sort of minion that has Poisonous, but for now, we’ll just use Parade Runner, and even then, it feels pretty clunky since you need a combo of cards, and Hunter wasn’t known for a lot of Card Draw.
We’ll just have to see what’s going to really happen with Kolkar, but for now, it’s uncertain for me.
Again, I only wish I was able to use Professor Slate if Hearthstone is making Hunter is focusing on spells.
Oil Rig Ambusher
Oil Rig seems to be a pretty good card, and to an extent that Rouges might finally try out Circus Medics, especially when you have them Corrupted.
I know it’s useful, but judging from how Rouge didn’t use CIrcus Medics, I don’t imagine that they’ll also use Oil Rig, in terms of High Competitive Play. Especially, since you have to draw it out.
However, I don’t think it’s a bad card, it’s just going to feel a little bit awkward for players, I’d say.
3 Stars?
We seen how strong Immune with Attack has been, so I think it’s no surprise that I’m giving this 5 Stars for Rouge, especially since you got Nitroboost Poison.
