Line Hopper
Eeh. It’s not like Raging Felscreamer, where you would use it to spam Priestess of Fury at a cheaper rate.
It can still be used as a niche idea since it’s very generous for 1-3 mana Outcast Cards, but after that, the Mana Value just spikes downwards after that. So it’s not entirely a useless card, is just that it’s realistically trying to go for Spectral Sights and Dreadlord’s Bite as of right now.
Maybe It’ll become stronger in the future, as more Cheap Outcast Cards come to play, but that’s about it.
as it stands right now, 2 Stars, but in the future, depending on where hearthstone will take Line hopper, since it loves going for ONLY the cheap Outcast cards, it’s going to vary.
Felscream Blast
I actually don’t know how I feel about this. The idea is that you’re going to need some spell damage? I guess?
Maybe it’s meant for Highlander Demon Hunter Specifically since you could, in theory, use this with Malygos and heal for 18 at max value? That sounds pretty cool, sure, but will it really work? We’ll just have to find out Highlander Demon Hunter’s Structure.
Unfortunately, Malygos is Legit the only card that Demon Hunter can use since there is no +2 Spell Damage Neutral card as of yet, the only real competitors are Bloodmage Thalnos and Steward of Scroll, and if your that desperate, even mana Reservoir, which is a 2 Mana 0/6.
Along with Throw Glaive, Malygos Highlander Demon Hunter might legit be Demon Hunter’s Newest form yet, if the Theroycrafters can approve. So it might even take from as short as pretty much as soon as the expansion starts, to as long time as maybe even a month or more for people to realize about this philosophy.
Highlander Demon Hunter was tried before, so it shouldn’t be ashamed to be tried out once more.
3 Stars.
Dreadlord's Bite
Dreadlord’s Bite is an Interesting Card, Essentially having Altruis’ Passive. Or you can just think of it as a 3 Mana 4/2 for 1 Turn.
Hook Scimitar had that same-ish concept so now Dreadlord’s Bite is adopting that idea, but with Demon Hunter’s idea.
When I first glance saw this, I was like: “aah, you know? Maybe a bunch of Demon Hunters will try it out.” But actually, playing the card itself? You need to remember that quite a lot of Minions have around 4 Health. And because so, I’m going to give it 4 Stars. I think quite a whole bunch of Demon Hunters will consider trimming off one of their weapons, or 2 of them even, just to use Dreadlord’s Bite. Yes, you might not always get the Outcast, but when played right, even something as simple as deal 1 damage to all enemies is enough of it’s own to be a game changer.
Acrobatics
This is what I like to call an Aggro Demon Hunter’s Wet Dream Card, and a Glide’s Wet Nightmare…?
Anyways, I still thought that Glide had some hope when it came to it’s Outcast, but I guess now It’s going to be overshadowed by Acrobatics. The Idea that you could screw up the Opponent’s hand by making the opponent shave off almost half their hand if you were fighting control was awesome, but in reality, I think the problem was that having your opponent have 5 Cards, and you having 4 doesn’t sound all that appetizing anymore.
I hope Hearthstone will come back for Glide and just buff the Outcast, maybe instead of both you will refresh and then draw 4, you would draw 3 instead.
But that’s enough of Glide, let’s talk about Acrobatics. Acrobatics I think is 6 Stars, and pretty much every single fast Demon Hunter dec will try and use and abuse its power. You might even see Midrange Demon Hunter if they’re fast enough.
Cloak of Shadows
I mean, there are niches of course, but yeah, I guess your right. Then again, now that we are focusing with some corrupted cards (Which we’ll probably try and get some greed with here and there), There’s that chance where Galakrond ROuge can legit try and do this. If Rouge doesn’t want Cloak of SHadows, however, and that’s just as fine, but I was just assuming that this is their version of “Time Out!” or “Ice Block”.
Idol of Y'Shaarj
Once an upon a time, we once had Free from Amber that people didn’t believe in at first glance, but at the time went it, it had become more and more common that Priest used it, especially with Dragon Priest.
And Now Idol of Y’Sharrj is here. Will Time Repeat itself or have they learned their history.
3 Stars.
Nazmani Bloodweaver
It’s interesting to se ehow actually powerful Bloodweaver is going to be, since I don’t really see Priest needing discounts on Mana, tough he would like it, obviously.
3 Stars.
Carnival Barker
Silver Hand 2/3 Divine Shield is going to be interesting for Dude Paladin. We’ll just have to see what actually happens.
3 Stars.
Fizzy Elemental
Eeh. It’s alright for Druid. It’s basically their version of Amani War Bear back then at Rasatkhan’s Rumble, but I don’t think druids will actually use Fizzy Elemental.
2 Stars.
Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer
It’s a nice Weapon if you don’t want to use Stormforged Axe.
4 Stars.
Inara Stormcrash
This + Knuckles = 10 Damage + 2 Evolves, but your weapon will be Destoryed.
If you attack, and then use Inara, thenyou can Evolve twice.
5 Stars.
Cloak of Shadows
Okay, it’s Time Out! or just Ice Block.
Yeah, Rouge will use this to try and cheat out something, especially to use Galakrond.
4 Stars
Claw Machine
Claw Machine is a Swing and Miss. Though it’s a nice card at first Glance, I’ve played enough OTK King Krush Hunter to where it’s not always going to work, though this is going to awesome for Claw Machine to Draw out Specific Card for Big Minion Decks or Specific OTK Decks. So in a way, OTK King Krush Hunter can still consider using Claw machine, both as Highlander and Non-Highlander.
4 Stars for Big Decks, but that’s it.
Palm Reading
Eeh. I actually don’t believe in Palm reading just yet, until I actually see it. I just feel like Priests don’t really want to use Palm Reading all that much, especially if you want to use an 8 Mana Plague of Death, which is basically their Twisting Nether for example.
Maybe there’s just something that I’m cleary not seeing just yet. but once I do I bet it’s going to tell me otherwise.
For now it’s 3 Stars, though.
Oh My Yogg!
It’s just a nice card, but I still don’t think that Secret Paladin will actually work. If only they can rework the Mana from 1 to 2 or something.I don’t know.
I’m very neutral with Secret Paladin. 3 Stars.
Tickatus
for a 6 Mana 8/8, this is a powerful Card, to a point that there will even be a niche point were Warlock can use Tickatus even without it being Corrupted. We’ll just have to see what happens.
3 Stars.
Eeeh. I mean, it’s alright, but maybe Highlander Demon Hunter would legit run Redeemed Pariah constantly, so it can evolve it with other Demon Hunter Decks to till them that Pariah is actually not as bad as we thought.
It’s a very experimental card because having a 2 mana 3/4 when outcasted is a lot more tricky, then having a 2 mana 2/4 that also draws a card for you if you use your hero power.
3 Stars, I would completely run off Redeemed pariah. Maybe just 1 copy of this is more than enough. And if it even comes legit ridiculous, in terms of power, then Aggro Demon Hunter can go for it.
