Fire Breather
It’s just a really nice card for Warlocks. Nothing too special nowadays. It’s not like your using the Un’Goro Protodrake anymore where you have this massive 8 mana Drake, and the AoE was surprisingly useful.
Galakrond will deferentially use this, but I can’t really think of anything else. Maybe Aggrolock if they started using more Demons, but Galakrond took that job.
3 stars, for now, It’s nice, but it’s a heavy consideration in my opinion purely just because Galakrond is still around.
Bladed Lady
As powerful as it may seem, I feel like people are exaggerating this card. Sure it’s powerful, but consider it more of a niche way to for taunts out of your way for a guaranteed execution with your Hero’s Attack Power. Though you can even consider Inner Demon into 2 Bladed Ladies for a very spiked mana value for example, or how Soul Demon Hunter can decently use Bladed Lady pretty well, Use it for the Aggressive pressure or use it defensively. If your playing Highlander, Defentially grab 1 of these because it’s still that powerful.
4 Stars.
Tent Trasher
Basically, put if you can play this with 4 Mana, it’s whatever since you could have used Restless Mummy instead, but if you played this at 3 Mana, now we’re talking, because now you’re started to cheat out the value to make Tent Trasher more powerful.
4 Stars, Annoyingly powerful minion to deal. Tempo Warriors will deferentially use this.
Grand Empress Shek'zara
Yo, this is actually a nice card for Rouge. Sure you can think of it as a “6 Mana 5/7, Randomly Draw 1 or 2 cards” at the very first glance, but this is basically Anti-Albatross for Rouge. And hey, if you ever wanted to play stupid, consider using this with Waxadred, since I believe the Candle should count, as well.
I think players just need to really play and get the flow of Empress Shek’zara, to fully understand what they are getting.
Maybe 1 to 2 games to get the gist of it, but then 10 to even 20 games afterwards to Master the understanding of the Mechanic.
3 stars for now, but has a lot of potential to go 4 stars.
Occult Conjurer
Hearthstone wants Secret mage to come back. We’ve seen how powerful Kabal Crystal Runner was, once upon a time, to a point were it even legit tilted a lot of the player base.
I feel like Occult Conjurer is basically Kabal’s Big Sister, and Jadince Barov’s Favourite Daughter because you’re getting the best of both worlds.
Hunter tried playing Secrets with Alpha Hyna, and while in theory, it sounded really powerful, the biggest problem was the health of the Hyenas, Even if you played it early, chances are, those hyenas would not last long, especially if they have AoE. But with Occult Conjurer, especially since power creep is getting ever so slightly giving us stronger and stronger cards with each Expansion, Occult Conjurer should be our version of Kabal Crystal Runner in terms of how powerful our cards have gotten over the years.
with that said, I am still going to give it 4 stars and not 5, just because I don’t know how powerful Secret Mage is, and if Tempo Mage will gain inspiration from Secret Mage. But I deferentially know that Highlander Mage, can.
Rigged Faire Game
For Mages out there, espically Tempo, Rigged is going to be both very interesting and a pretty powerful card to play and to generate now, thanks to Ring Toss.
Hell, we might even see Arcane Flakmage again for a lot of the mages, and maybe even Apexis Smuggler if Secret Mage is that good.
Note that: If you had Ice Barrier and you took damage, it still counts as Damage. So if you think that you have 6 Mana to ‘force’ yourself to draw 3 cards, you are mistaken. Just use a soft taunt, or an actual taunt and some freeze cards for you to draw 3.
The card is so powerful that Mages for once can finally consider sacrificing AI, and Highlander Mages can rise up once more because they can have 1 of every type of Draw Card.
I used to try out Highlander Tempo Mage, and it went okay, but a lot of the times I would tend to run out of gas because I’ve used all of my generations. Maybe its because I’m still a nub, and I need more practice.
Overall, this is 4 Stars, almost a 5. The only way I’m going to give it 5 Stars, is if Mages go Bat Crazy knowing damn well how to use Rigged. I know Highlander Mages can do this, but maybe it might not be enough, though it deferentially has the potential to become Tier 1, now.
High Exarch Yrel
Okay, so Paladin just gets Zilliax, pretty much.
6 Stars. We’re going to be seeing Yrel for a loooooooong time.
Balloon Merchant
Well now! I guess Dude paladin is coming back.
Good to see you again, Dude. It’s been a while.
5 Stars.
Ringmaster's Baton
Don’t know Exactly how I feel about this. For Pirates, sure. For Mechs, it depends on the Mech, really, but for Dragons? It’s more to do with the Battlecry then anything. Maybe Mad Deathwing, fine, but that’s kinda it right now.
3 stars, It’s an Odd-looking Weapon for me, so maybe someone else can convince me that it’s crazy powerful.
Ringmaster Whatley
It had me thinking for a second, but you basically use this for Bomb Pirate Warrior. You Draw a Mech (So, Skybarage or Clockwork Goblin), a Dragon (Usually Normal Alexstraza, though it would be interesting for a Highlander version) or Mad Deathwing, and Pirate is basically any pirate.
I can see Whatley being used pretty often, even without the Tempo Pirate Version. Since Galakrond will be gone, Warriors need another way to Draw their Specifics, so Whatlet is their next choice. Even it’s a 5 Mana 3/5, Draw 2 Specific Cards, they will still use it because it’s that important for them.
4 Stars.
E.T.C., God of Metal
I don’t think 2 mana 1/4 is enough. I think it needs to be a 3 mana 1/6 instead, so that way it can really do its job well.
Realistically it’s just going to live for 2 turns, or it will die at mid or late game.
Other then that, you are just going to be dealing 2-4 damage and 6 damage at Rare occasions.
Scion is great for ETC but not for the Next Expansion since he’ll be expired.
So either Hearthstone has a backup plan for E.T.C. or else he will not be used all that often.
I’m going to give it 3 stars, and hope for the Best because I like the whole idea of what they trying to do with E.T.C.
Carousel Gryphon
If you don’t have Libram of Hope and use the Carousel. If you do have Libram of Hope, you still use the Carousel, because You’ll find a way to use 1 Uncorrupted version and 1 Corrupted Version on Average. Sometimes the Greed isn’t always worth it, and the 5/5 Divine Shield is more than enough to make it a threat.
I’d say 4 stars is as fair as it’s going to get, yeah.
Wicked Whispers
Yeah, it’s nice. We’ve had enough practices with Galakrond Zoo that this should be a no-brainer for a lot of those Warlocks that just want to Token to the Maximum.
It’s scary enough just to think about your early aggro of tokens, that it takes me back when druid was doing the same thing with its treants.
I guess this time it’s Warlock’s Turn. 4 Stars.
The Nameless One
Okay, so this bbasically Priest’s Owl. You know it’s going to be overly used to it’s maximum. Anyone that gives it a low rating dosen’t know what the potential of what a Silence can do.
5 Stars.
Stiltstepper
I think people are just overhyping Stiltsteeper, just because purely, it draws a card.
Bruh, you have Feast of Souls to worry about, Stiltsteeper isn’t really going to do that much.
Also your averagely going to gain its a bonus by around turn 7. Sure, you can get some extra bonuses with outacast, but that’s beside the point.
In my opinion, I don’t think Stiltsteeper isn’t going to anything. You know why, because he fall down. Into a 1 Star.
Ticket Master
Alright, cool, Summon Rouge is back.
5 Stars, it was good back then, and I think it can still be good now.
Horrendous Growth
Realistically, this is only good for Big or Control Decks out there, or your doing a Rapid Deck, and using Horrendous Growth as your own version for Vancleef and you have Chef Nomi along with you.
Maybe Midrange when I though about Growth again, becuase you lose your gas of cards just fast enough with Midrange, it’s going to take some experiments too see.
It’s got potential, unlike Biteweed, so 4 Stars.
Revenant Rascal
I don’t think people are actually going to use this. This is more of an Anti-Druid then anything.
If you can’t use Rascal until turn 10 then it’s irrelevant, because by the time it’s Turn 10+ If it’s the opponent’s turn, then it legit just did nothing. So this is used for Aggro Warlocks or Zoolocks that want to take Rascal to the extreme instead.
If that’s the case then yeah, i can see it being played but only really on that type.
3 Stars for Zoo and Aggro, 1 Star for the Rest.
Touche. xD
