Star Aligner
Three minions that have exactly seven health each. It’s not that vague since if the designers intended otherwise, it would say as much. Plus that third option can be disregarded immediately given Star Aligner itself has seven health.
Star Aligner
The minions have to have exactly 7 health seeing as it doesn’t say 7 or more health.
Blightnozzle Crawler
If it dies during your opponent’s turn, you are going to lose the Vilebrood without it killing anything of note. It’s also extremely slow.
Star Aligner
The stars do have to align for this to really be playable.
The only deck I could see this working in would be a Divine Spirit-Inner Fire Priest that plays Injured Blademasters, Circle of Healing, and other. This is definitely a Johnny card if you’re familiar with that term for Magic the Gathering and one of the few cards like Astral Communion and Cataclysm that truly are Epic.
Blightnozzle Crawler
It’s technically a four mana 3/5 that might take something with it.
The biggest issue with the card is that it is a rogue card, a class with some of the best removal options in the game already. The fact that it’s slow and something you really want to die on your turn, doesn’t exactly help it.
A rogue playing this wants it to die on their terms to the point where if this does not die on your turn, you basically threw a card and four mana’s worth of tempo away to deal either two or maybe four damage and then kill a small minion or make a Mage use their fireblast on it.
Unless there’s going to be a piece or two of Deathrattle support for Rogue on the level of Unearthed Raptor from The League of Explorers, I do not see this being playable.
Zerek's Cloning Gallery
Yeah. A 9 mana spell in a class that can’t ramp probably won’t see much play in Wild and Diamond Spellstone is about as expensive as a deck like Big Priest can afford to play and that’s largely the deck’s win condition assuming the game gets that late.
Zerek's Cloning Gallery
Such a card proposal would never see print and even if it did, a Velen/Malygos Priest deck that runs this as it’s win condition wouldn’t get too much out of it. It may be necessary, but having to shuffle back a Velen or Malygos for eight or ten mana because you drew it too early would get you murdered against aggro and midrange and giving a free turn for control decks to set up a Lich King or a Ysera will basically mean your lose is imminent.
Zerek's Cloning Gallery
This card has a big effect, but that big effect doesn’t really have a competitive home as far as I can think off.
It will certainly complete the Priest Quest for a Deathrattle deck, but Quest Priest biggest issue is that it lacks a real win condition without something like N’Zoth. This is not that.
A Velen Combo Priest could potentially use this, but there is little to no way to guarantee Velens and Radiant Elementals remain in the deck while also ensuring the drawing of Mind Blast. Even Shadow Visions can only go so far in that respect.
None of the other Priest archetypes would really want to play this.
I like the flavor and the big effect of the card, but it is a bit too slow and inconsistent to make useful.
Giggling Inventor
This is probably a better anti-aggro tool than Rotten Applebaum since that could be killed in one attack, functionally only absorbing two with the healing it provided. The minions Inventor spawns will also survive a Defile played without set-up, leaving you with two 1/1s with taunt.
This will probably see play in slower decks without a whole lot of other tools to deal with aggressive opponents and at least some Mech decks since the Annoy-o-Trons are rather sticky and are decent Magnetic targets.
Demonic Project
It still doesn’t come with the overstated body and is next to worthless against aggro deck as a result.
Cloning Device
Taking the ability off a good minion and putting it onto a spell does not mean that spell will also be good and Shadow Visions is usually a better card across all archetypes.
The cards something like Thoughtsteal gives you may be random, but it does give you an extra card for one more mana, which for a control style priest would be preferred and that is not seeing play.
If it were 1 mana, it would definitely be a better Mind Visions, and even then, unless Lyra becomes a popular choice in Priest again, I doubt it would see play.
Cloning Device
It’s nice and all that Priest can now discover cards in the opponent’s deck for a Thief Priest, but generally, it’s not something Priest really needs.
If this were a Shadow Visions for the Priest player’s minions, it would probably see play since there are minions Priests either want in their hand as soon as possible or would like to play more than three copies of.
You might be able to occasionally steal a Lich King or another powerful minion that’ll work with your deck, but I don’t think that chance it worth playing for at least when it doesn’t come with some body like Novice Engineer does.
Demonic Project
Looking at the whole of the demon selection in Standard at the moment, there are maybe seven or eight Even Warlock would want to play, let alone pay two mana to replace a card with.
Rubuke, yes, is a good option against particular combos, but it is no Loatheb. Likewise, this is no Dirty Rat. If this does see play it will be because Combo decks are running rampant and there is no other option for Warlocks. Granted, the match-ups Even Warlock has against Shudderwock Shaman and Malygos Druid are far from awful to begin with, slight edge and even respectively. Something like this could tilt the scales in Even Warlock’s favor more, but Shudderwock Shaman plays so many minions, you’re chances of hitting Shudderwock or Grumble will probably be minimal, so it really only matters with Malygos Druid and decks that play Leeroy.
It will probably see play in a Combo centric format in control centric Warlock deck, but even in those cases, playing Aggressive decks like Zoo will probably be a better option in general.
Celestial Emissary
Depending on the situation, adding two damage to a burn spell for an extra two mana can easily be good for Tempo Mage decks, especially if the format is lacking burn spells, but that’s exactly what this card is: situational.
This does seem to want to be comboed with Unexpected Results, but that makes that card into six mana summon two four cost minions, which is better than its default form. However, it’s still too slow to really use in a Tempo style mage and this card is too small to make it worth using in Control styled mages.
Astromancer
This can easily be okay for Big Spell Mage. In order to really make it playable you’d need to have five other cards in your hand when you play it, basically summoning two 5/5s for seven, and that shouldn’t be too hard. The only issue with it is Big Spell Mage probably wouldn’t care about the Tempo this’ll give them.
You could consider putting this in faster mage decks with Aluneth, but since it doesn’t deal damage, it seems a bit too expensive to put in those sorts of decks. This could combo with Book of Specters, but it still costs seven mana.
Perhaps a new sort of mage deck will be created with this card at its center that focuses on drawing to ensure this is always dropped while having nine other cards in hand. However, I wouldn’t count on it.
Weaponized Pinata
Why broken in arena? It can generate a card whose quality will vary from Lorewalker Cho and Duskfallen Aviana to Deathwing and Barron Geddon and everywhere imbetween. Plus, you have to wait for it to die to get anything from it.
Weaponized Pinata
As with all other random legendary generating cards, this will not see play.
Cute artwork though.
Omega Medic
Not really. Greater Healing Potion can at least be used before turn ten.
I think Millhouse Manastorm, Lorewalker Cho, and Ticking Abomination are worse since even in this card’s worst case, it’s still a 7/7 for 7 far from getting double pyroblated in the face, being unable to really play spells, or an AOE removal spell you play on yourself.
