Soulbound Ashtongue
Feels like mostly a Warlock card, especially with the new mana demon, and with the Vulture. 1/4 for 1 mana is also pretty nice, it trades into a lot and helps establish board control early, which is what Zoo wants to do.
Nightshade Matron
Insane if you have Hand of Gul’dan, and targeted discard is always preferable. However, it could end up being awkward. Not sure whether the Discard stuff will work out, but if it does, it’ll be partially thanks to this card. Also a pretty good pull of off the Warlock Prime.
Kanrethad Ebonlocke
Might see play in Wild Cubelock as a smaller, earlier version of Gul’dan. In standard it’s in this weird space where you don’t want to run it in a Galakrond deck since you’ll just summon 1/1s, but the current best Control and Zoo Warlock builds utilize Galakrond. The original form also seems like it would go best with cheap demons, but the Prime wants you to have expensive ones. This will probably see play somewhere though.
Hand of Gul'dan
It’s a shame a lot of the Discard synergy is rotating out of Standard with Rastakhan’s Rumble. Maybe this will finally be the piece Discard Warlock needs to be competitive in either format, but I’m not sure about that. Certainly powerful with Expired Merchant though.
Darkglare
Self-damage synergy for warlock that actually seems crazy. I feel like there has to be some insane combo deck with this that I’m not smart enough to come up with.
Blistering Rot
Theoretically good in Druid and Paladin, but I’m not sure it’s good enough. Could be crazy with Librams though.
Enhanced Dreadlord
Interesting late game option for Warlock, and it synergizes with their Prime (either one is good to bring back). Also nice with the 4 mana draw a card and reduce it’s cost. My only fear would be that this is too slow.
Felfin Navigator
An auto-include in any murloc deck. Just needs to be seen if Murlocs are a viable strategy for any class.
Ethereal Augmerchant
Out of all the Augmerchants, this seems like the worst. Divine Shield and Rush are both monster keywords that can pull a lot of weight and be scary. Spell damage is usually only relevant in combo decks and I don’t think they want to be running something like this when better options are available.
Frozen Shadoweaver
Alright so just neutral stats for the freeze effect, interesting. This card is very meta-dependent though, if the meta is a lot of big dudes then you’ll consider it (especially in Highlander decks), but if the meta is a lot of smaller minions this is bad. Probably a monster arena card though.
Imprisoned Gan'arg
I think if this gets run in Warrior, it gets run in some kind of control deck, not aggro. The delay in getting the weapon seems too prohibitive for me to want to run this in Pirate Warrior or Galakrond Warrior. But having a turn 1 play as a control deck that gives me a board control tool on t3? That sounds much more appealing.
Infectious Sporeling
This card is so weird, I have no idea whether it’s good or trash.
Overgrowth
I’m not sure if it fits in any existing decks, though maybe it’s enough to push Big Druid again. Embiggen already runs Breath of Dreams and in Quest Druid Nourish is probably just better. But maybe there will be some other deck that can abuse it (maybe a Kael’thas combo deck?)
Overgrowth
I’m not sure if it will give you an excess mana card, but it would only give 1, not 2.
Rocket Augmerchant
Alright so this is basically Goblin Lackey that you get to run in your deck. Goblin Lackey is already one of the best ones to generate since it helps you react to your opponent’s boardstate. Rush has been constantly and consistently undervalued since it was first released. I don’t think you should underestimate this card at all.
Rustsworn Cultist
This seems sleeper good, it’s very comparable to a neutral Soul of the Forest, and that has been a staple in Token Druid for a while. I could easily see Token Druid, Zoolock, Demon Hunter, and Quest Hunter all running this.
Scavenging Shivarra
Seems like it’s only good when you’re behind. Probably fine in arena and maybe in some highlander decks, but outside of that I don’t think this is very good.
Insane draw power for Rogue. I’m not sure if it’s needed but with Myra’s Unstable Element rotating it’s certainly useful. The secret synergy for Rogue seems so pushed I would be surprised if the package doesn’t see play.
