Sunstruck Henchman
Now, Unlike Generous Mummy where It’s just giving your Opponent a better Sorcerer’s Apprentice buff, At least a 4 Mana 6/5 sounds more useful. The problem that I have with this card is that It’s like Orge Brute, for example, where It may have a mind of its own to attack something else, At least it was still doing some form of work, even if it wasn’t something you wanted it to originally do. So Unless players adapt for a more Silence Deck, Consider not using this card, even if it does look interesting at first Glance. 2 Stars.
Now as for Arena Heartstone However, A Body is a Body, and having a 4 Mana 6/5 that does a lazy job of doing work is still considered as a threat. So whilst you should be discouraged to play Sunstruck Henchman in Contrusted unless it’s SIlence Priest, For Arena, I would say that you should get 1 of these cards.
Anubisath Warbringer
Huh. It is cool that Heathstone what to stay to The Original Word of Warcraft Identity, but at the same time, it kinda ruins the creativity out of it. Which is a Shame, Cause I’d love to use Emeriss, especially if it was a Warrior or a Neutral card instead. Feelsbad.
High Priest Amet
This card is going to raise some eyebrows for Priests out there, especially for when they maybe want to go a bit more greedy and say for example that you want more Attack and Less Health cards for example. This card can also be useful for when you want your Northshire Cleric to not die, and the Obvious but classic Divine Shield Inner Power Combo.
I have no idea how the Reborn mechanic is going to be, but I assume that it should stay at 1 Health, and not back to 7 again.
Mech Priest would love to Adopt this card, since they have a lot of Deathrattle minions that technically count as a Summon, such as SN1P-SN4P and Harvest Golem, and they want to go for more of a Divine Shield Inner Fire Style deck instead because of this card.
I’m also very Curious if This Card along with Mech Priest, could withstand against Token Druid and it’s terrifying Swarm of Enemies, up against the High-Health Minions and Mech Deathrattles that Priest likes to throw. 4 Stars.
Generous Mummy
Generally speaking, cards that have a slight advantage in terms of stats (all of these seem to be +1 Attack and +2 Health), but have a huge disadvantage on the short-run don’t turn out too well, and this card is one of them.
The closest thing that you can legit use that has this disadvantage was Marsh Drake, and all you had to do was to either play rouge for Wicked Knives, or sacrifice a minion you don’t want anymore, Which yes you could say: “Oh, it’s just a 4 Mana 5/4 then”, which is partly true.
I’m sure that this will be a flavourful and memed upon card for Arena Hearthstone, but for Constructed it’s just not happening. There is a reason why people fear Sorcerer’s Apprentice, because of its spike for tempo with spells, so why should we toss outApprentice’s Passive for the Enemy, just to hopefully gain tempo? It just dosesn’t add up.
1 Star.
Grandmummy
In theroy, this is a Better Shadow Ascendant from The Knights of the Frozen Throne since that card dies too quickly, even with both of those cards budding each other to make themselves 3/3s. But now with GrandMummy, especially for someone like Tempo or Zoo Priest, so It will be interesting to see what this deck can do.
Zoo Priest was once a thing before it became completely forgotten, but now may be Reborn back from it’s own grave. (Pun intended.)
On a serious note, however, I would consider looking forward toward this card, as Zoo and Tempo Priest are getting some decent cards. Maybe not a complete Tier 1 deck, but I can see it being Tier 2 / Tier 3, for sure. Giving it 4 stars, because when you think about it, the “Reborn Mechanic” for something this early feels like It’s own version for Zilliax, where the card has value and does do it job pretty well, unlike Shadow Ascendant, were it just tried to buff your minions and that was it. Not giving it 5, because I’m not confident enough.
Anubisath Warbringer
Yeaaah… Fair enough. I guess I just needed some understanding. I Don’t exactly know why Hunter has a rule to not be a Control Deck, however. Maybe it has to do with his Deck fitting more for Midrange or Tempo, or maybe it’s because of the Hero Power being too aggressive, but Nobody played Emeriss. So I just assumed that nobody would really play this card because the cost is just too high.
Infested Goblin
It’s almost just as annoying as Giggling Inventor! And it has Tempo Token Value! And Druid loves it!
Sold! 5 stars!
Frightened Flunky
I Know a Guy + Frostwolf Grunt = Somehow a Frightened Flunky
While this is such a weird turn on design, The Card itself is as you expected. It’s some good stuff, especially for losing 1 health to gain a Discover. Maybe Tempo Warrior could reborn once more if we keep seeing cards like this. I’m only rating it 4 stars because I can still see it be overshadowed by Rovers and Town Criers, but for those that don’t want to waste 800 Dust for a 1/2 that draws a rush card for you, then this is a great start.
Wasteland Assassin
Eeeh. Too Awkward, but the Reborn is nice. Maybe Paladin, Priest or even Zoolock might pick it up, but that’s about it.
2 Stars.
Pressure Plate
Sweet and Scary for Secret Hunter, But you’re either using the Secret for the Sake of your Eaglehorn Bow, or if you’re facing against a Threat. It behaves like Deadly Shot, but responses to Spells instead of Minions.
I’m a sucker for Deadly Shot more then I am for Kill Command for My Beat Hunter Deck, so I do want to try Pressure Plate out. 4 Stars.
Diseased Vulture
For once, I actually think that Blood Witch can now be a useful card. Quite a Strech for sure, but it’s still possible. But anyways, I’m sure that Controllock, Handlock, and even Zoolock will enjoy this card, so 4 Stars.
Neferset Ritualist
A very useful card for sure, But I have no idea where this deck can be played, other Big, Token, Aggro or Midrange. It does deserve 3 stars though, at the very least.
Into the Fray
Now that’s what I’m talking about! Already a much better solution than using Armagedillo, even though Armagedillo can take this buff too. I’m now able to give Armagedillo a second chance, because the first time I saw him, there was just no way of using that card. But now you able to give your Taunt Minions +4/+4 with the help of Into the Fray. 5 Stars. And this will see experimentation for Taunt Warrior again. Myself Included.
I’ll admit, I might be wrong about Armagedillo now.
Anubisath Warbringer
Just Saying this now, if this card works, so will Emeriss. 3 Stars.
Tortollan Pilgrim
It’s a Tortollan Primalist! except is actually useful! 4 Stars.
Note that this isn’t just purely for Midrange and Control Mage, but you can even go as far as to use this for Cyclone Mage and maaaybe even Khadgar Mage, just as long as there aren’t any enemy minions on board.
Whirlkick Master
Now, Unlike Underbelly Angler were you want to play it as soon as possible, for you to save it up for when you have at least 2 other Murlocs to get some form of Synergy, I feel like Whirlkick Master is the Exact opposite, were you want to play this card when you have 10 Mana, and a Cheap combo card, such as Eviscerate for example. Rouge Decks comes in all shapes and sizes, sure, but I feel like even if it does give you a Combo minion, this one wants to be used for either a Miracle or Control Rouge-style Deck. Maybe even Midrange Rouge. Rouge wants to pop off with Value more than anything with this card, so they want to strike when the time is right, or they have to use it as an Emergency early response. We have not seen A card like this before where you flip Underbelly Angler upside down, so it will be interesting to see what deck Rouge is going to use. Even if it is Pirate Combo but a card was replaced by Whirlkick. 3 Stars.
P.S. Have fun with Kidnapper, lul
Hooked Scimitar
A Poorman’s Waggle Pick, sure, but It’s a better Orge Warhammer. You can’t deny that it’s some scary damage, especially for the hands of Aggro and Tempo Rogue. It may look like that doesn’t do much at first, but we’ve seen what pre-nerfed Fiery war axe can do, and this card can (kinda) Pull it off.) I’d say that even if the ratings are inaccurate, and nobody plays Hooked Scimitar, I still think that It does deserve 3 stars at the very least.
Splitting Axe
The biggest problem is that we tried Tokens, and the only Token Synergy that Shaman loved was a 2 Mana 3/4 that gave you an Overload. There will be some more creativity into this, such as having Bosses using this card for Totem Shaman Reasons.
One Synergy that I would give out, however, is “10 Mana 12/16”, where you make 4 Copies of Nightmare Alamgam, and sure It does sound nice but… Why try and pull off that combo, when you can always play Token Druid? I don’t think they would try and pull this off for even 4 EVIL Totems, Which is a shame, because people love the people of what Lackeys could pull off.
So pretty much, whatever Splitting Axe tried to pull off, Token Druid can do it better. 1 Star. If anyone knows a legit synergy, and not just for the sake of memes like the “4 EVIL Totems start” that I gave out, I’ll be impressed.
Sleeping with the Fishes is back. Expect more Brutal. It’s basically a Cheaper Brawl for Warrior. 5 Stars.
And now Warrior can mix and match between having 1 Brawl and 1 Plague of Wrath. Or they can go Big Warrior, and play both of these cards.
