Ramming Speed
So it’s Betryal but it’s for warrior, and It’ll probably be used for when Supercollider finally retires. And I think it’s safe to say to give it 3 stars, because it’s another Niche Card to use.
Rain of Fire
For as simple as it is, it’s also the most awkward card to use it. At best is to get rid of token cards, but the problem is that nowadays, you have a lot of token cards (Especially for treants) that have 2 Health, so… I actually don’t know how to use this effectively anymore. Maybe to use it with Spell Damage, just to clear the board and try to act like another Hellfire for you, then sure, but there are 2 problems with this:
1.) the best you can do is combo Rain of FIre with Thalnos or with Kobold Geomancer, So you’re looking at a 3 mana combo that deals 2 damage to every minion.
or
2.) We wait long enough for a low-costed +2 Spell Damage minion. And no Spellserker doesn’t count for Warlock.
So in future, Rain of Fire could actually be useful, but as it stands right now, at best it’s a 3-star card.
Living Dragonbreath
So this is used if you REALLY can’t take Freeze mage anymore, or if you are running some kind of Elemental Deck. 3 Mana 3/4 is pretty standard in Today’s Hearthstone, but having also to prevent being frozen is an interesting touch. I would throw this tech card away, but maybe just 1 copy of this is enough, or 2 if you notice more Freeze cards then ever. 3 Stars.
Hippogryph
Eeeeeh… This is REALLY Pushing it, and even for Midrange Beast Warrior. Replace the Taunt with Lifesteal however and I would have been a whole lot more interested. 2 Stars.
Gyrocopter
Maybe players will compare this to a Poor Man’s Siamat, and you couldn’t be any more right. But as long as you can give if a little bit more of a Boost, I think Gyrocopter could actually do well. Even as little as a Titanic Lackey’s +2 Health and Taunt would be enough. I think even something like Handbuff Paladin would think otherwise and would actually use Gyrocopter. So I’m actually going to stand my ground and I’m going to give this 4 stars. As I said, it just needs that littttle bit of a push (Usually around +2 more health) and It can do pretty solid.
Grizzled Wizard
yeee-aaahh.. quite a pretty troll card. The only way this can be useful is if your up against an advance Hero power, and even then it’s kinda pushing it to pay an extra 2 mana just to use your opponent’s Hero power for 1 turn. This feels more like an MTG Card then a Hearthstone card, and although you can try to compare them in between, I still feel like Grizzled Wizard just barely could do something.
If it was Reworked for a 3 Mana 2/5 and if it was “until it dies” then sure, it would have easily been 4 stars, but for 1 turn means that it’s a 4 Mana “Use an Advanced Hero Power for 1 turn”. Now, to give some credit, if you are fighting against let’s say, quest priest, Hagathta or even Galakrond Shaman, then sure, he did his job. But that’s still quite a stretch for what Grizzled wizard has to pull off, and I think it’s a bit too unrealistic for Grizzled Wizard to constantly keep finding ways to pull it off. At best, I would say that it’s 3 Stars, but I’m giving it 2. It’s just too inconstant for 1 turn of using your Hero Power, even if it’s an advanced Hero Power.
Goboglide Tech
Pretty solid for anyone that pays Mech. Think of Scalewurm but for Mechs instead. Yeah, sure. 5 Stars.
Fire Hawk
So I tried to see if there are any possibilities of making this a good card, and from I could tell the Answer is not exactly all that worth it. I mean, Sure you will have times were You can Bamboolaze your opponent with this, but more or less likely it goes something like this:
If it’s something like Aggro then the best-case scenario is getting 1 Extra Attack, a lot of the time
If it’s Tempo, then it’s about to let’s say 2 extra
If it’s Midrange, it can vary between 2 to even 4+
And Control can REALLY Vary from having about at least 3 cards to even 7+.
Okay, sounds pretty good so far, but it doesn’t end there. Because the Problem about Fire Hawk is also if they can stop in time, and the answer is:
Aggro: Usually No, Has to Sacrifice its minions
Tempo: It Varies.
Midrange: More Yes than No.
Control: Probably, yeah.
The biggest issue is that you have to think Realistically with FIre Hawk. And even if do manage to make Control use all the Key Cards out there and then using Fire Hawk, you will get incenses of 7+ Attack, but otherwise, it’s also STILL has a high chance to be easily removed by a spell of by a Big Minion. And the Problem with Midrange is that they all Vary. Some of them can sustain until the near Fatgie Stage, in which they would have about 1-3 cards left, while others will still somehow gather about 3 to even 8 cards, especially if they are playing Hagatha.
And just as I was about to debate this as 2 stars, it then hit me: “What If I use Fire Hawk more for a distraction instead? Just to force an answer towards your opponent?” And, when I said that out loud, Fire hawk started to imminently make a whole lot more sense to me.
As long as Fire Hawk has some numbers on its Attack, your opponent needs to answer it. And, Around 5 Attack or more is where the opponent begins to pay attention more with your Fire Hawk for now than to do whatever your opponent was supposed to do. And best-case scenario for you is to use Fire Hawk when your opponent has no minions on board.
And even if your hawk gets put down by something like a Frost Bolt or a Hex, It’s actually an Adventage for you, because you’re basically using Fire Hawk more as a Decoy then as a Threatening Minion. So under the right circumstances, At first glance; yes, even I thought that Fire Hawk was a troll card, but thinking outside the box, and especially because it costs 3 mana, This can legit be kind off an Anti-Midrange or Anti-Control Card. I was shocked to say it myself, too. You have to think of Fire Hawk as more of a Tech Card then as a “All-in” Card. and I’m going to actually give this 4 Stars.
Troll Batrider
So I’ve been thinking a bit about this and although it won’t be the minion that you wanted, it at still gets the job to you, even if that job is lesser. 4 stars.
Galakrond, the Tempest
So I actually think that out of all the Galakrond out there, Shaman’s is the one that will probably be spammed the most in terms of Hero power. Having a 2/1 with rush is almost as much as a levelled up mage ping but a bit worse. And even then, Shamans would still Spam or almost spam the hero power, I feel. 5 stars.
Awaken!
I personally like it. It’s just that I don’t know how others will respond to this. 4 stars.
Evasive Chimaera
This kinda acts like a different Snail, was Snail was a 2 mana 1/2 that had Taunt Instead. And I think it was seeing some bit of play here and there. It’s interesting, to say the least. 4 Stars.
Blazing Battlemage
Enchanted Raven is back, but forgot to add in the Beas deck. Overall, Aggros and Zoos Rejoice for this card. 5 Stars.
Aeroponics
Wow. Hearthstone REALLY wanted Druid to play Treants, huh. I think some might actually listen about this idea. 4 stars.
Hoard Pillager
SO yeah. You can have your free 5/2 Claw back. The only Drawback is if Stickyfingers takes it first, but otherwise, 4 stars.
Skybarge
Once we actually get some Pirates, I think you will start to see some play from Skybarge. But right now I can only give it 4 Stars. But once we do have enough Pirates, this could even be easily a 6 Star Card.
P.S. Blizzard stop bullying Silverback.
I mean.. It’s okay, I guess.
Kinda wish that Curator could stay a little longer but, oh well. Someone could try and find a way to make this work, but I still see it as a Meme card, soo.. I don’t know. I’m not falling for it right now. 2 Stars.
