Nightshade Matron
Eeeeeh… I mean… It’s nice, And I guess Warlocks do want to remove some of their Junk but still. That’s kinda saying quite a lot if you’re not planning on a Discolock Deck. Still, though; a 4 Mana 5/5 with Rush is a Big Upside for what you need to Sacrifice. It’s just if your willing to pay the price of it.
I’m calling 3 Stars. I’m just not confident enough to waste a potential Control Card. (Unless you’re not playing a Control Card.)
Kanrethad Ebonlocke
DK Gul’Dan is trying to make a Comeback expect less Control-y. It just wants some of the Battlecry.
If you can somehow make copies of Kanrethad Prime, then you can have an Infinite Value of these guys just slowly and surely ruining your opponents day. I don’t think we have such a thing yet, however, but keep your eyes peeled for when you have that moment to strike in the next expansion or 5. 4 Stars.
Serpentshrine Portal
Shaman gets an Early version of Firelance Portal. This card is going to see a whole bunch of play.
5 Stars.
Vivid Spores
A while back, we’ve seen Shaman trying to pull this stunt with Snowfury GIants. For Vivid Spores, It’s just telling you to just copy Token Druid, but with your Evolve stuff. Might actually be a pretty useful card.
I actually almost forgot about that 3 Mana Card that had that same Formula. Living Spirits, I think it was called. Anyways, 3 Stars. Might see some form of Experimentation, at least.
Totemic Reflection
When you do the Math, that’s 2 Mana for a 0/2 or a 1/1, and then you add +2/+2 for a 2/4 or a 3/3. And then you multiply that by 2, for a 5 Mana 4/8 or a 6/6 in terms of stats. This actually surprised me to see that for once, a Totem card of all things, it’s not bad.
It doesn’t even have to be your Hero Power, either. That was just the Base idea for when you have nothing else to do as Shaman. You can even picture it as a 6 Mana 4/10 Draw 2 Cards if you have Mana Tide Totem.
This is actually a pretty nice card. 4 Stars.
Blistering Rot
Ooze is back, expect cost 1 mana more. But due to how it’s meant for someone like Paladin or Shaman, for example, they might actually still pick this up.
As for the others, don’t count your blessings.
I’m even surpassing myself for what I’m about to do, but 4 Stars for anyone can pull Blistering Rot off, but otherwise 2 Stars, and just go with some other minion.
Bogbeam
There’s a difference between a Venetta and a Weaponized Wasp. One Costed 0 Mana Early, and the other at least gave you a free 3/3 Body to go along with it. I get the Druids can get Mana Crystals like it’s no big deal nowadays, but they have other spells and plans to pull off, such as Swipe, or Wrath for example. Bogbeam can still see some play, but the question is: Where?
3 Stars.
Disguised Wanderer
Not gonna lie. a 9/1 is fairly scary. But unless you’re planning to get hit in the face with your ping (unless your mage), Fat chance of it actually happening. Maybe it’s meant for when you want to go full-on Aggro, or for Libram Paladin. Okay, yeah. Now I’m starting to see a few ideas here and there. 3 Stars.
Enhanced Dreadlord
Looks nice, even if it wasn’t successful in stealing Walking Foutain’s Thunder. A Fairly annoying body with another fairly annoying body to deal with afterwards. 4 Stars.
Ethereal Augmerchant
Unless Spellzerker or an actually good Spell Damage Minion is still somehow out there, No. 1 Star.
You’re better off with Kobold Geomancer or Eleven Archer. You can’t have both.
Felfin Navigator
We did it boys.
Warleader and Coldlight Seer finally had a baby. 4 Stars.
Frozen Shadoweaver
Ice to meet you again, Glacial Shard. You’ve grown up so fast. 5 Stars.
Infectious Sporeling
Imagine spending 1 mana for a Delayed Polymorph, but then you realize that the enemy can now do the same if you can’t respond to it. If your Mage, You better have Freeze, or just use Polymorph instead. For the Others, this is basically like using Gastropod, but for 1 Mana. 3 Stars.
Rocket Augmerchant
For when you want an Eleven Archer, but you also want a Cruel Taskmaster in a way, why not Both.
Although Acolyte of Pain is no longer with us, Pain Warrior could gain some interest, along with some of those Zoo Cards that still have a bunch of Eggs lying around. Give this minion a Shot, it might surprise you to how good Rush can be. 4 Stars.
Some people would just say that this just like equipping a weapon, expect as a Minion. as cool as it looks, I’m not too sure if even Libram Paladin would want to use it. It’s just too risky for the Long run. I don’t even know if any of the more aggressive decks want this card, because the text looks too threatening. And Even if this minion Is silenced; deal 1 Damage for a 1/1 Body is just asking for you to just choose Elven Archer instead.
So basically put; I just solved my own math for both of us. I’m seeing a more Complicated and worse version of Elven Archer. 1 Star.
