Pathmaker
Require just a bit of practice to use, but I think people will know how to use Pathmaker. 4 Stars.
Heart of the Wild
I’m not too sure how well Guardian Animals Druid will be, even with heart of the Wilf, but it’s promising to say the Least. 4 Stars. Who doesn’t like free stats upon extra stats?
Frostwolf Kennels
so if we were looking at the overall, that’s about a total of “6/6” in stats, or just asking for 1 quick “squirrel” with stealth for 3 turns.
The squirrels themselves have been quite the nunsience, so with that said, i think Frostwolf Kennels could actually be Viable for Aggro Druid. Escpially since you get a free wolf when you finish and another wolf for whenever you are waiting for you next turn. You could even wait for Arbor up, and get a potential 16+ hit max combo for turn 6, if we were talking with just the 2 wolves and treants.
I’m optimistic with Frostwolf Kennels. In the right hands, this card is annoying to deal against. 5 Stars.
Capture Coldtooth Mine
This with Jerry Can is an absolute Tutor Game-changer. those 2 cards make such a potential tutor combo that it’s no wonder why people are excited for Capture COldtooth Mine. 5 Stars.
You even see this as just “2 mana Forgring Deathrattle” which, it is.
Frostsaber Matriarch
Frostasaber CAN Work in theory, but you might as well be playing Guardian Animals again. And I think that was the point.
But still, having a 1 mana 4/5 on like turn 5-7 is relatively scary, might I ask.
4 Star potential.
Wing Commander Mulverick
This just needs some experimentation, escpaily with Aggro Druid, but I think Mulverick can work.
I mean hey: Free extra Stats, right?
4 Stars.
Wildheart Guff
Realistically speaking, you are just going to go for 11-13 mana on Average, and the rest is just drawing up another card. MAYBE, if you went for Pur COntrol, I can see an idea to where you go for an Alexstraza Brewmaster OTK Deck, where you’re using all 20 Mana, but even then, it takes a lot of effort, and you would also need to draw out your guff pretty fast, while ALSO protecting yourself at the same time for that OTK idea.
OTK King Krush Beastmaster Hunter only required King Krush and any way to gain 2 extra copies of it. Your average waiting time for an OTK Deck like that would take about 12 turns on Average and you could deal 24 Damage to the Face. And even up to 30 if you King Krush just to happened to be buffed with Savanger’s Inguinity. So Imagine just how much mana you need to ramp up with Guff included. Then again, cards like Nourish can still help benefit your idea.
You’d need around 5-6 Mana boosting Crystal Cards to reach to 20 Mana. So there is quite a bit of doing nothing while your preparing for a much more makeshift exodia.
I don’t know, Pessimitic-wise, 2 Stars just draw Cards with 11 mana crystals. Optimistic WIse, and you asking quit a lot here; 4 Stars. Again, the problem about reaching 20 mana is that you have escpially the early game of not really doing a whole lot of anything. SO you need to gain control for the early and mid-game escpially.
Dreadprison Glaive
Eeh. It’s okay. Clearly trying to be an Anti-Aggro…? type of deck? … this one’s … awkward. that’s for sure. You’re essentially trying to play Knuckles but as Demon hunter. And yes, you can flex around the damage, but even then it can still get all awkward. I think Glaive just needs some experimentation. 3 Stars.
Flag Runner
You know, now that I see the idea of what they were going for with TOken Demon Hunter, I can see where a “3 mana 4/6” could be scary, up until that a lot of the classes could just shut down your work.
But let’s say we are at around turn 4 or so, and Demon Hunter has a LOT of Acceleration for in-between summoning tokens and drawing enough cards in time, then yeah. Flag runner, though it is pretty niche, can shine from time to time. It’s just that the way to build up that damage is so restrictive, and hence why we don’t like Flag runner as much. Had it been a 3 mana 2/5 just to give up a bit more on the upper edge and I think people would give Flag Runner a chance with TOken Demon Hunter.
2 Stars.
Flanking Maneuver
It’s Lillian but for Demon Hunter. This card will see play. Destroying 2 minions for 4 Mana is always a good thing. 5 stars.
Field of Strife
Eeh. This card can be nice, but more focused on tokens escpially. I don’t know how I feel about this, though with that saying, I think Rush Demon Hunter could officially be a thing, to enforce pressure onto you when you play minions in general.
4 Stars for Rush Demon Hunter. I think this is a Sleeper Card, it just needs some work-arounds.
Warden of Chains
It’s a 4 Mana 3/8. Sounds nice; works well, But only Big Demon Demon Hunter can really use it. That’s the Problem. I’d say that Warden of Chain just needs some experimentation to where I think It’ll be an essential card for even just having only Green Rag in your deck because you’d probably be drawing out Warden of Chains first anyways.
4 Stars.
Sigil of Reckoning
This card is especially good for Green Rag Demon Hunter, and you’re far more of a Cheese OTK Strategy.
And even if you don’t have Green Rag, you can still try and go for Mistress of Blades, as she can often split her 6 damage apart enough with enough accuracy, even if it’s not the most accurate.
I think Sigil of Reckoning is a Sleeper card, especially for Big Demon Hunter. When your especially not doing anything for 5 mana, and you “gain 5 extra mana” for Turn 6, the spike is absolutely game changing in the right hands, So don’t underestimate it. 4 Stars.
Ur'zul Giant
They probably did some experimentation becuase Demon Hunter especially has 1/1 tokens to try and cheese out Urzul Giant. The Card itself I think is fine, because ideally, you could have a general “5-6 mana 8/8” while still having around 2 to even 4 cards left for your turn 6.
Giant feels more for Tempo Oriented to try and make the mana cost as cheap as possible.
4 Stars.
Caria Felsoul
This card is just asking for you to be more nitpicky, and while yes it can work, I feel that it’s going to take a lot of experimentation before Caria Felsoul can truly get going. Maybe even waiting for the Mini-Set for her Potential.
3 Stars.
Kurtrus, Demon-Render
I can’t say much other than It’s a nice Card to have, that even more Aggro-Oriented Decks will use Kurthus. It’s just solid all across the board. 5 Stars.
Golakka Glutton
I think nowadays, having a card like this isn’t that bad, but it’s just that you are really looking for specific niches. I almost gave this 2 stars, but it’s 3 to try and balance out the metas of Beast Hunter.
Blacksmithing Hammer
I think this is the only card that I’ve given 2 Stars, because you have to find Blacksmithing Hammer yet again to gain a 4 mana 5/3, and if things get too crazy, then players will start spamming VIper again.
Pride Seeker isn’t just for Ramp Druid It’s also just as terrifying for Aggro, and I think it’s leaning more with Aggro for the lastest Sow the Soil and Power of the Wild especially. a 3 Mana “5/6” in split stats is a noticeable spike of difference. I’m willing to give this 4 Stars. It has a HUGE amount of potential.
