Impbalming
Controllock needs healing and a solid game plan to actually win the game. Fatigue is not a win condition because Warlock life taps it’s deck away. The downside of this card is far greater than say Blastcrystal Potion, which was often played in mid-game when losing a mana crystal was less oppressive (and Reno lock needed to find 30 singletons to play).
Rafaam is bad, it’s still bad, and isn’t played in Control Warlock decks anyway.
Based *solely* on the cards that exist now, this card is junk.
The Winners and Losers of the Hall of Fame Announcement
The limitation is far more detrimental than the value gained when you get a 3/3 (in *exchange* for some existing minion). There isn’t one pro who thinks the card will see play. You are living in a fantasy world.

How is Mage a loser? Sure neither Tome of Intellect or Icicle are particularly strong cards. But neither is Plaguebringer. It gives Rogue another form of single target removal, but compares poorly with most of the other STR’s Rogue already has.

playhearthstone.com has all the standings, and you can see all the match/deck data as well.
Overload Token Shaman - Shadows Post-Buff - #5 Legend (Jambre)
Proof that anyone can make legend with the most garbage decks.
Upcoming Balance Update - May 22 - Nerfs To Archivist Elysiana, EVIL Miscreant, Preparation and Raiding Party
Oh the game has been dying since Beta according to clowns like you.
A couple of players took time off waiting for the expansion to hit, but the overwhelming majority of the hight ranked player base is untouched.
Dimensional Ripper
This card will never work because it will never see competitive play.
Aranasi Broodmother
I’m neither convinced this taunt is any good, nor convinced that Plot Twist is any good.
One thing I am sure of is that putting bad cards into a deck because they have synergy with other bad cards is just bad.
Unleash the Beast
@Minti
“But you are not that into the game to really know how much it costs to play those diverse and fun decks.”
I have every single card. Cost is irrelevant to me. I’m not poor.
“And you haven’t played priest that much to know how disapointing it is to finally make that super heavy deck.”
WTF does this card have to do with Priest?
Unleash the Beast
One of the cards that comes to mind to compare this to is Gladiator’s Longbow. Both cards allow you to remove two 5-health minions without taking face damage. But it costs a total of 12 mana to cast both copies of the Twinspell, but only 7 for the bow. And the bow has never seen play.
To be fair, there is the possibility of the Wyvern surviving it’s Rush attack, and synergy with other cards (Zul’jin, Leeok, …). But it just seems too fair to get overly excited about. This card doesn’t give me “it could be broken” feel that many of the Warrior and Rogue cards that have been revealed does.
Blastmaster Boom
You have to run the bomb cards to make this a “better Boom”. Read the text.
New Competitive Format Called "Specialist"
I guess they liked the vibe of the play in the Esports Arena’s Specialist Showdown (won by Deathstar’s Hunter).
The most straightforward approach is make your primary deck the “normal one”, and tech your secondary and tertiary decks to be anti-aggro and anti-control.
This will give tournaments a different feel.
Best Hearthstone Decks - Standard Meta Tier List - The Great Dark Beyond (December 2024)
Aggro Odd Mage listed as a Tier 1 deck.
Upcoming Balance Update - Nerfs to Cold Blood, Flametongue Totem, Equality, Hunter's Mark and Lesser Emerald Spellstone
No, Even Hunter will be bad, very bad. Hero Powering in HS is generally a weak play. The Hunter HP is useless early in the game cause it has no effect on the board.
You can still play Secret or Spell Hunter. I don’t think either deck is going away. Give up AC and KC for 1-mana HP? Dream on.
So since we haven’t seen the whole set, we can only evaluate the card on its own merits.
