…or he just didn’t complete it.
The Boomsday Project Guide - Release Date, Card Spoilers List, Pre-Purchase
Did it? I haven’t seen it in a single Constructed deck, ever.

It’s just a template, we don’t know the distribution of rarities yet and there is no point in adding blanks. There will definitely be many more Neutral Commons.
The Boomsday Project Card Reveal Schedule
There are two cards like that, revealed simultaneously by Brazilian and Spanish streamers / YouTubers. It’s still a single card, nothing to think about ๐
Magnetic Keyword Guide - New Mechanic From The Boomsday Project
Not really. It’s only works like a spell, but it doesn’t count as one. For example, Counterspell won’t stop it, and it won’t generate a Fireball with Antonidas on the board.

Hearthside Chat: Magnetic Keyword/Mechanic - The Boomsday Project
What will other 6 classes get?
Other cards. Mechs aren’t the only thing in Boomsday.
Are they going for same 3-class concept as in mean streets of gadgetzan?
I’m almost sure that it isn’t the case, they would highlight it with the reveal. It’s very common that only a few classes get support for some kind of new mechanic.
E.g. in The Witchwood, only 3 classes have got an extra support for the Odd mechanic – Druid, Mage and Priest. And funnily, neither of those 3 decks have a working Odd deck. On the other hand, only a single class got Even support – Shaman (and this one worked, actually). And Warrior was the only class with Rush synergies, despite it being a new keyword introduces in that expansion.
Different classes have different focus, and that’s a great thing. Imagine every class being about Mechs this expansion, it would be boring, and if the Mechs / Magnetize would fail, then the whole expansion would be a flop. Maybe some of them will have a bigger focus on Projects, on Omega cards, maybe we’ll get a new unexpected in-class synergy (like Freeze Shaman… but let’s forget about that one) etc.
Egg Cube Hunter Deck List Guide - Witchwood - July 2018
Probably the biggest tip would be how you handle Devilsaur Eggs. While it’s best to Silence it (obviously), you don’t always have one. If you’re ahead or at least have enough resources to kill the 5/5, it’s better to pop it yourself. Otherwise, you might get completely wrecked by something like Play Dead + Terrorscale Stalker.
Another tip would be clearing off any bigger minion if you can. Trading against this deck is important. With no significant minions on the board, they have lots of dead cards in their hand, like Cube.
And if you play Token Druid, flooding the board is also one way to win against this build. This deck doesn’t run Unleash the Hounds or any other AoE spells, unless you face a Secret version or Wild Pyro version, but those are less common. In the most common builds (at least most common at higher ranks), Deathstalker Rexxar is the only wide board clear, so you can often risk a Wispering Woods even without Soul of the Forest. Setting up a big Wispering Woods into Savage Roar/Branching Path can be a big win condition.
The matchup isn’t amazing for Token Druid, but you should be a slight favorite. However, if your sample size is not that high, your 47% win rate doesn’t seem particularly bad. Remember that no matter how well you play, in the end RNG plays a big role.

I’m using Amazon Coins too! I’m not buying anything other than pre-orders, because I don’t need more packs. With pre-order + packs from gold I usually end up with ~130, which is enough for me – this time I’ll get the 80 packs bundle + over 80 from the gold, so over 160 packs. It won’t give me a full set, but I’ll just craft the useful Epics & Legends. I’m doing this for the last few expansions and I can play every deck I want.
But yes, Amazon Coins are a great deal. If you can get them from 20-25% off, then you’re paying much less for the packs. I wonder why more people aren’t doing it.
And yes, it’s obvious that they made this game to earn money. Every company works like that, they don’t do anything for free. If players are willing to spend money, then it’s a good business. I don’t really mind the prices. I buy one pre-order per expansion and it’s enough for me to play whatever I want. Spending $50 (well, now $80) every 4 months is not a lot for how much I play this game. The only thing I would improve is new players experience. It’s great when you’re already playing the game for long and you can afford anything, but when you just start, you have to grind for months and months to build some meta decks or spend hundreds of dollars at once. Which is a bit steep for someone who just started playing.
The Boomsday Project Card Review #1 - Spider Bomb, Biology Project, Omega Defender, Electra Stormsurge, Myra's Unstable Element and Stargazer Luna
That combo won’t work. Electra reads that “your next spell this turn casts twice” – applying the same Battlecry second time won’t change anything. Your next spell will cast twice, no matter how many times you play Electra.
If it read “your next spell casts one extra time”, then it would be a different story.
The wording is clever, it’s most likely made specifically to not work with cards like Murmuring or Brann in the Wild – otherwise some really crazy combos would be possible ๐
The Boomsday Project Card Review #1 - Spider Bomb, Biology Project, Omega Defender, Electra Stormsurge, Myra's Unstable Element and Stargazer Luna
It’s a weird thing. On the one hand, it’s not autonomic. It’s just a big robot piloted by a Goblin. On the other hand, Shredders and Mekginner Thermaplugg were basically the same, and yet they were classified as Mechs.
So my guess would be that they aren’t making it a Mech for balance reasons. Which is more important than staying consistent, in my opinion.
The Boomsday Project Card Review #1 - Spider Bomb, Biology Project, Omega Defender, Electra Stormsurge, Myra's Unstable Element and Stargazer Luna
I’m not sure if that would work, though. I think that the Echo card would be added to your hand first and THEN you would add a card, so the right-most would be your top-deck, not an Echo card.
Keep in mind that Luna reads “AFTER” you play your right-most card, not “WHENEVER” – it means that the card draw procs after the card lands on the board and resolves.
Heal Zoo Warlock Deck List Guide - Boomsday - August 2018
To be fair, I wrote the guide BECAUSE the deck was getting more popular, not the other way around. As much as I like to believe that we (HSTD) have a big impact on the ladder, it definitely wasn’t our doing this time ๐
Electra Stormsurge
Bloodlust can’t be played in Even Shaman either. He’s probably talking about some Token Shaman deck. I mean, that archetype was big a ~year ago, so it might come back with some more tools.
Omega Defender
It’s not very consistent. Shredders are also piloted by Goblins (I mean, the 4-drop is literally called PILOTED Shredder). So is Mekgineer Thermaplugg. And yet they’re all classified as Mechs.
Maybe they didn’t classify some of the cards as Mech here for balance reasons? Hard to say without knowing more cards, but it’s one of the possibilities. In my opinion, balance > consistency. But then, they could just give this card a different art (like a goblin with an exoskeleton) instead and the problem would be solved.
Magnetic Keyword Guide - New Mechanic From The Boomsday Project
On the one hand, it means that you need to pay even more attention to your positioning now – where you put your Mechs might be more important. It also looks pretty cool that way.
On the other hand, it could be more clear and flexible. When playing a Mech with Magnetize, it could just pop up a “Choose One” window, where you pick whether you want to play it alone or Magnetize it into something (that option would be greyed out if there was no Mech you could Magnetize into).
Magnetic Keyword Guide - New Mechanic From The Boomsday Project
Yes, you’re right, I’m going to clarify that.
The thing is, Malygos Druid does not play Oaken Summons already. It has cut the card quite a long time ago, actually.
