It’s our fault – Barista Lynchen and Exotic Mountseller weren’t on the list. Now that I’ve looked through it once more I’ve noticed it and added them.
I think that Zayle doesn’t count as an expansion card, but rather as an extra “adventure” card.

You know what, some of that meme stuff might actually turn out to be meta… Just saying ๐

That’s exactly why I’ve said that you don’t have to worry about them breaking the meta. I’ve heard a lot of voices that running an event like that is bad, because pros will already figure out what’s great and expansion’s launch will be boring.
Which is not true – even if the 6 pros test decks over 8 hours, A LOT more playtesting will be done on the ladder in a minute after the expansion’s launch.

I’m afraid not. Only the pre-purchase packs will be available during pre-release.

I’m pretty sure that the last day before expansion’s launch is the last moment you can buy it (so in this case April 8th).
Vendetta
“Pre-nerf backstab” oh man, given that the card was nerfed right after the Closed Beta account wipe, most of people don’t even remember the old version.
Even I wasn’t playing back then – I started like 2 weeks after that patch (but I was watching some streams already so I vaguely remember it).

I think that everyone assumes that they cost 1 mana. It would be really weird if they costed more.

I was only helping during the previous reveal season (Evident was doing most of the work), so I had more time to do reviews. I did it for the first batch, but the reveal season is really fast and I wouldn’t be able to keep up with reviews.
That said, I’ll do some reviews for the most interesting cards in the period after reveal season and before the expansion’s launch (we’ll also have lots of theorycraftings, so stay tuned). I would love to do more but I just don’t have time ๐

The artwork looks so bad because we had to scale it up from a low quality small image. But we’ve probably blurred it out too much anyway lol. We’ll add a higher quality one once Blizzard releases it.

The problem is that we don’t have images for most of the tokens. When Blizzard releases a HQ card, they do it only for the card and not the tokens it generates. We’ll try to get our hands on those too (and if not, we’ll add all of them after all the cards are revealed – they do a big dump with ALL of the cards including tokens then).
Catrina Muerte
Not really, for Kel’Thuzad to work you needed minions that died THIS TURN, not THIS GAME. This is guaranteed to summon something (if something died this game, that is), for Kel’Thuzad you needed a board first AND a way to kill it off.
I’d say that this is better than Kel’Thuzad, which was a win-more card – this is also great on an empty board or sometimes even when behind (especially if you had Taunt minions that died).

English subs on the reveal video say nothing about random: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=78&v=0-AfiutrL1w
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I don’t believe you (I know no Korean at all), but so far we have more sources for the current translation. So I’ll just wait for some official words from Blizzard.
Maybe it’s random friendly minion? As in “random friendly Deathrattle minion on the board”? It might roll the RNG dice instead of letting you target if you have multiple Deathrattle minions on the board.

Did you translate the original one yourself? Because I’ve read both translations already, with the current one being more common.
It’s always difficult with those Asian card reveals ๐

1. Yes, that’s exactly what it means. The cards will still be playable in Wild, but no longer in Standard.
2. Like you’ve already calculated it below… For Commons, craft a Golden version no matter if you don’t own it or own a regular one. For Rare/Epic/Legendary, if you own a regular version, don’t do anything. If you don’t own it at all, craft Golden. I think that your question was why you don’t want to do anything if you own a regular version and the answer is simple – because it won’t give you any extra Dust. You CAN do that but it just doesn’t matter (you just have to invest more Dust upfront).
3. No, it does not. Average is 1 Legendary per 20 packs no matter whether you spend Gold or real money, but you can go up to 40 packs without a single Legendary (if you don’t open one in 39 packs, 40th one has a guaranteed Legend). You just got unlucky (there’s really nothing you can do about it, sorry).

Because Skiffington added them to the site and not me, then I somehow assumed that he added them to this post too without checking. I’ve updated it now.
You mean the 8 mana one? I really think that it’s too slow for a Murloc deck. The deck curves out until 4 mana, with 5 mana being your finishers. You want to close out games around T5-T6, if you completely lose the board control and run out of steam against a slower deck, then Hagatha won’t save you. And if you do the same against an Aggro, you probably won’t even survive long enough to play her.
