Rise of Shadows Hearthstone Expansion Guide! Release Date, Card Spoilers, Pre-Purchase Info, New Mechanics And More!
April 9 is before April 30th. They have to account for potential delays when selling you something.
Upcoming Expansion Teaser - "The Scientist"
Actually, all of those characters (except Dr. Boom) are HS originals! Dr. Boom also doesn’t have much of a backstory in WoW, you just had to kill him for one Quest (and since you had to use Bombs to do it, he was immune to normal attacks, and people used to train weapon skills on him, but that was a long time ago). Fortune Teller is a new character, she was only used in Whispers of the Old Gods trailer before. Rafaam is from League of Explorers, Togwaggle is from Kobolds & Catacombs, Hagatha is from The Witchwood and Dr. Boom is from Boomsday Project (you could say Goblins vs Gnomes, but the actual character development happened in Boomsday). They don’t have A LOT of backstory yet.
Most of the HS story is told through PvE content, hints dropped here and there, as well as the pre-expansion lore posts/videos.
Come to think about it, we might do a lore overview for the new expansion when it’s officially announced, detailing who those villains are exactly 🙂
Tavern Brawl - By The Power of Ragnaros
Update: It’s the second time we see this Brawl. Comments below this one are old, but can often still be relevant!
What’s Paladin Losing in the 2019 Standard Hearthstone Rotation?
Yes, it’s actually there in the draft… It just wasn’t displaying live, not sure why. Fixed it now.
Most Overrated Cards from Rastakhan's Rumble
Unless there are no other high priority Silence targets in the meta, I still don’t think it will be good. Having the flexibility of Silencing off Divine Shields, Deathrattles, Buffs etc. is most likely worth the extra mana.
If Taunts are almost the only minions you want to Silence, then yeah, but that’s not very likely scenario.
Summary of Year of the Dragon AMA with Devs - More Communication, Mobile Performance, Promo Card Before Expansion, Solo Content, Arena and more!
Tavern Brawl - Brawliseum - Miniature Warfare
Possible, but much more difficult. In the early game Alex is basically “deal 15 damage for 1 mana”, it’s the best card in this Brawl.
You probably won’t get that far without her, but you can still snatch a few wins probably.
Midrange Hunter - Rastakhan 2nd Nerf - #2 Legend (ChaboDennis)
I’m afraid that it is mandatory.
Tavern Brawl - Brawliseum - Miniature Warfare
Rewards get better the more wins you get. It’s basically the Arena reward system.
Tavern Brawl - Miniature Warfare
Sorry, I jumped the gun on this one. I can’t access it yet since I’m on EU and someone told me that it’s Miniature Warfare, but didn’t add that it’s Brawliseum, lol.

Update: It’s the fifth time we see this Brawl. Comments below this one are old, but can often still be relevant!
Ultimate Hearthstone 2020 (Year of the Phoenix) Standard Rotation Schedule & Guide - Which Sets Rotate Out, Hall of Fame, How To Maximize Your Dust Gain
Because that’s the way to get max Dust…
Ultimate Hearthstone 2020 (Year of the Phoenix) Standard Rotation Schedule & Guide - Which Sets Rotate Out, Hall of Fame, How To Maximize Your Dust Gain
It’s covered: “If you don’t own a card that rotates out to Hall of Fame, craft it in Golden.”
If you own 1 out of 2 Gloom Stags (for example), then it means that you don’t own a card that rotates out to Hall of Fame, and you want to craft it in Golden.
Ultimate Hearthstone 2020 (Year of the Phoenix) Standard Rotation Schedule & Guide - Which Sets Rotate Out, Hall of Fame, How To Maximize Your Dust Gain
Hence why this is a guide on how to maximize your Dust. Most of the players don’t care about Golden cards, especially Golden cards in Wild.
But yes, if you care about a Golden collection, then you should craft everything that rotates out to HoF in Golden.
Ultimate Hearthstone 2020 (Year of the Phoenix) Standard Rotation Schedule & Guide - Which Sets Rotate Out, Hall of Fame, How To Maximize Your Dust Gain
That’s because you are not correct…
If you don’t do anything, you get 800 Dust. Then you Disenchant those for 200 and have 1,000 in total.
Now you craft 2x Golden Epic and spend 3,200 Dust. Then you get 3,200 Dust back and you’re 0 Dust ahead/behind. Then you Disenchant 2x Golden for 800 and 2x regular for 200 and you’re at… exactly, 1,000.
I’ve been through three Standard rotations already and wrote this guide every time, I REALLY know what to do to maximize your Dust.

No, you get normal Disenchant values since you get a full Dust refund back anyway.
Thanks, fixed!
