i think it should have been a 2/3 at least for priest to have some staple card for some tempo plays. And the low stats and the deathrattle makes it very inconsistent. The only good lackey for control decks is the etereal lacky. But maybe in the future there will be draw cards lackey or add to your hand/deck lackeys we shael see. So far its not that great. And the more lackeys there will be the more RNG and the worse chance to get the ones you want. Not shure why do people rate is that high.
In wild you obviously do not want this to show i nyour n’zoth rez pool nor in your spellstones. We will basicly not see lackeys in priest with all the big priests around anyway. In order for lackeys to be used in priest they must outshine Big priest and i don;t see this happening unless this makes miraculously priest a super fast aggro lackey deck whitch deathrattle does not bring.
Wrenchcalibur
You know what i think that this card just broke pirate warrior in wild. People already are running deaths bites there. Imagine this with the pirates package and captain greenskin shenanigans. You basicly don;t need any of the other bomb cards. This makes pirate warrior immune to reno decks and with some extra charges in this you can potentially have a great mid and lategame. Not to mention that drawing this can give you insta wins againts warlocks. The more they tap the more dead they are.
Madame Lazul
Now that i think more about it this card with azalina and chameleos and archbishop make for a great priest thoughtsteal deck, with some mind visions, shadow visions, thoughtsteals and devour minds It can actually be FUN. Not shure about competitive but FUN :D.
So basicly this is the priest version of tess.

sry too much info thats just my observation so far. I am glad you are not poor games are not about how deep is your pocket its about fun. Its just stuff that happened to me as i started the game since i starter WoW with priest. And i have a fetish about the class.
And if there are rules and general percentages that means it is staged. You are staged to get a legendary at some point. The problem is that after they implemented the pitty timer I see much less random dropps of legendaries. Before it I would not get a legendary in about 100 packs than i would get like 5 legendaryes for 10 packs or something like that. I guess now is a bit more consistent per 40 packs or something. In any ways putting rules means you script it. And it is fair i am not saying its some scheme. It is just a fact that this is the way things work. Neither good nor bad.

Dust costs are important especially if the game is to bring new people to the table. There always will be cost and value to any card you will get. Its part of the deck building process. and sometimes you realize the value of some cards just because they are flexible. Jist like with the nourish wild growth. It was in the game for a very long time. But it was the UI that made people realize how good those cards are.

because the ame is made that way that you will have to craft your cards anyway. I got corpsetaters like 9 times and meatwagon 5 times from KOTFT. So like it or not there is no RNG in the packs its all scripted. Just like the pitty timers etc. So like it or not you will have to craft most of the stuff out there there is no getting them out of packs to get al lthe legendary cards because of the pitty timer you will get them at some point but you will not get all the epic cards just from packs. You have to craft some anyway. But you are not that into the game to really know how much it costs to play those diverse and fun decks. And you haven’t played priest that much to know how disapointing it is to finally make that super heavy deck.

Rebuke is better, although its not a secret and its more expensive. 2 health is not that great since most of the paladin wide boards are 1 health minions anyways. Although it can see play in wild but not more than one of it.
Baka paladins already have avenge and competitive spirit, but they actually give you aggro. While this not so its not that good and i don’t se ethis saving your 1/1s from flamestrikes or dragons furry or minion based board clears. It can be popped even if your oponent does not use a board clear. And 2 hp is not that much of a punish, Like the 4/2 panter with stealth. Taking 4 dmg to your face for casting a spell is an evil kind of effect. And it could have been sopmething as simple as that.
Or maybe it could have been the paladins version of mana bind. Instead of casting the spel lfor free it could cost one more or w/e other cost just to balance the things.

Dr. Boom's Scheme
the shaman scheme is one of a kind effect for shaman. And shaman is just desperate for it. If you want your control shaman to work you will use it out of nessesity just becouse it will not overload you. Priest is just anothr piese to the Innerfire divine spirit so you will not want to use 2 at most of it. The warlock one is bad too but this is the weakest. I am happy because priest used to get the same stuf warrior gets. where warrior would get armor priest woul get healing. Although if priest had this as a healing option, the auchenai healing priest would become a viable OTK deck. Not that it is not viable now :D.
Messenger Raven
This will not see any play in wild. Tempo is kind of a dead archetype. And as soon as mage gets lackeys. Sine as the year progresses we get more lackeys and more people that give you lackeys. So if tempo mage fails this expansion it may get more consistency later on but if it fails now it will fail later on too.
But with some lackey swimming in your deck this can be great.

Not a good comparison. The bow is an epic card. And in arena you are most gladdly picking the bow. Also the bow costs you your hero swing. Whitch is also a resourse you have only one of. And putting this into a secrets hunter with infinite bow stacks you can stil lswing with your weapon if you plat this on turn 6. And the 5/5 boddy is much more worth that just a swing. The minion is not going to get removed by itself. It is a beast also so you may activate your kill commands. And its not epic so you will most likely get this ๐

I think this is good. Its not broken but its good. You can compare it to the hunters mark and baited arrow. For 2 cards you can remove a minion and get a 5/5 dino. This gives you 5 dmg to the board for shure and if you hit a minion with less than 5 health you get a descent attacker. It is not as good as flanking strike. But you can cast it twice.
Also Zul jin value is waaay too much since you play both these and one additional in your hand. The big problem with zul jin is that he fills your board with garbade. And you kind of want something more control oriented. And you basicly lose to rexar in the control matchup. But with Zul’jin you get 4 wyvers on board and 4 in your hand. Whitch makes the extra mana not that much big of a deal.
You also want this in wild maybe not that much if you transorm into rexar before zuljin. But even though you can chancge rexar into zuljin for the turns that you are deep into fatigue for cool value. You will not be unpahhpy if you get this from the legendary bow.
Compared to the 6 cost legendary mech, hunter is getting this is better than it for any case ๐
Lightforged Blessing
not that great of a card but considering its rarity its not a big deal if it does not work. The lealing is not that reliable. Because its just a win more card. If you can make a minion stick you are most likely winning. So this is basicly useless. It can help you heal whitch is not bad.
It can synergize well with the glass knight. If you put it on the glass knight you have a minion that gets bubble every time it attacks for un immune to combat minion :D.
Its cost is a bit high. for a simple healing effect. we have cards like evilve. that affects the whole board for 1 mana or devolve that affects the whole board for 2. I can see this being 0 mana ans still have the same effect without breaking the game ( exept in wild ๐ Giving 0 mana spells to paladin will make OTk pala even more unstopable so paladins will probably never ever have descent 1 mana spells.
Lightforged Blessing
you do not want to ruin your synergy that much if you get the 2 giants with the priest on turn 3 you win anyway. And you actually do not lose any health. Do not forget that you are probably some sort of aggro deck with this package. Although all paladins use it/
Keeper Stalladris
Now i know why in the lifesteam the choises of spells like power of the wild was updated. This is the new fandrall. Its cheep and the thing you want in every deck. Its only 2 mana. Even the wild token druids can use this. Despite the fact that there are not that much cards to use with it yet, other than the living roots and power of the wild. I really wish there was a way to summon the warduid loti’s dino form for standart. As a card its not seing that much play. And its something not that easy to pull. Desspite the fact its not that worth it :D.
Mark of the loa gives you good value with this. And regular buffs become 3 buffs into one card. Like Mark of nature. You get to buff this and get 2 more buffs into your hand. And the tount is just a bonus. So this thing synergizes amazingly good with the mark spells. So we may see more of them in the future.
So far is a splash card. Just like zilliax. it can go everywhere. Who doesnt want to get 3 buff spells with a boddy to cast for the price of one.
I am not shure how the staghelm and this will work since he plays both options. If that is the case do you get 4 cards for every choose one spell? Raven idol also gives you tons of value with this so you can put it in yogg decks over staghelm.
Khadgar
Well i already mentioned the return of tempo mage with the new dragon card. This can be used with splitting image etc in secret mage for the secret mage version of tempo. while the dragon can see play in the dragon version.
Overall the new standart archetype for tempo includes some very expensive dust wise cards. The reason why tempo mage was that popular was not its power but th efact that it was cheep. And it did play like an arena deck. Where arena players were kind of rewarded with this playstyle as their skills increase.
Overall this synergizes with a ton of epic cards for just some tempo value and its effect is unique. Its like the brann bronzebeard without the OTK synergyes.
Oblivitron
omega devastator is a mech and hunter will get some sort of mech to synergize better with this. Also the professions trainers are getting implemented. So we can see engineering trainers too. There can be some toy makers and toys.
Clockwork Goblin
i don’t think putting this into another archetype will be that nice. I have had bad experiance with priest mostly. Odd warrior is purely control deck. Reno can give you more healing if you are looking for un ultimate control deck restriction archetype. The upgraded hero power, you can get from justicar. The Dr boom hero power is actually more worth it control wise. And as odd you are losing some good control ptions like slam, execute, doomsayer etc. Do not forget if you choose the mech archetype you can still use the regular boom bots that deal 2 dmg to your oponents face. So don;t feel restricted to commit into one single thing just because it is powerfull. Baku warrior is still very far away from the good warrior combos that carry them into wild. So far baku warrior is only some sort of transition phase. All the good things warrior has get some sort of negative synergy with it. Overall you are ditching a lot of cards while building your deck in order to completely ditch the synergy in the end game.
Well lock gets a different kind of egg deck where hunter hatches multiple monster lock seems to get consistent ways to consume its eggs. Overal this is a card in the right direction for the lock versions of the lackeys. If you can constantly make lackeys out of your card and getting 2 cards every time you play a card. That just makes your rafaam stuff more legendaries into your hand/ deck. So generating lackeys and than turning them into legendaryes is not a bad strat and can work with the locks card draws. But we still need some sort of good stated lackey generators for this to work and 2 mana for a 2/2 is a bit mediocle considering you have to lose a 1 minion for it to get any value. Droping this straight sway on turn 2 with or without 1 drop is not that great of a curve play.
