Well for one the name sense ruins neutral Shudderwock = Jabberwocky Bandersmosh = bandersnatch.
And if this was a neutral every rogue would run it with quest because it can just sit in hand and every time it became another classes legendary it would give progress reducing slow period from mirror rogue.

Well 6 card 1 turn combo grumble plus 2 of these in hand HP fireplume, fireplume, this to face, this to face, grumble, this to face thats 30 dmg leaving 1 Mana left over so you can use any 0 cost or 1 cost overload or overload 1 Mana turn before.

It’s only win more if the eggs don’t have a deathrattle if they do it could be a viable card takes 3 turns before the new minions can go face. And if they had a deathrattle it could be interesting to see what opponent wants to do. Wait for it to hatch as 4/4s or kill it and possibly give random dragon or summon a weaker baby dragon. Basically it would be either trigger hatch mechanic or trigger deathrattle since hatch would be more like it transformed so didn’t die.

You missed fact the eggs have to hatch so if you can kill them after summoned it’s just a 5/5 with 2 0/3 do nothing no deathrattle minions. Now if the eggs had a deathrattle that summoned a weaker dragon that’d be another story or if they did something maybe if had deathrattle like swamp egg that adds a random dragon to hand. Would make the card very useful and be more in line with expectation of a legendary.

I can give you 20 dmg right now. Quest shammy fireplume with or without quest depending if have one or both in hand then 10 Mana zap hero power and blast both to face for 20. Same basic principles to the otk pally just need them down 10 health to finish them.
Dragoncaster
Thats a good combo but still a question if when get pieces of it to hand the highlight of this with pyroblast though is this turn 9 Alextraza turn 10 Dragoncaster+Pyroblast+fireball. There if opponent can’t heal or gain armor you just pulled an on curve late game kill using 4 cards. That entire combo is also possible in a Highlander mage since uses no repeats.

Not just shudder or hireek could also have it turn into an Emeriss which would be scary as hell to happen in quest shaman. Think his complaining is the fact it’s not a set card and can’t guarantee to drop it on a curve. Which most of the time your big cards won’t be dropped on curve and can spend half the game sitting in hand doing nothing. Hell if doing quest shammy imagine this turning into the make Lackeys 4/4s I’d drop this right then no questions.

Have to remember Shan runs plenty of cards that sit in hand doing nothing already this is nothing new and any deck running a high cost minion has it sitting around doing nothing for long time. If pull your decks SUPER card during your Mulligan well guess what your stuck waiting maybe 8-9 turns before you can even drop it this card after 4 turns it’s available to play and from then on you can just wait for a decent legendary.

The thing to remember though is the fact that it’s legendary do you would only run 1 copy in the first place. And even if it’s RNG heavy to get good ones a guaranteed 5/5 looks a lot more appealing in some cases if have no other play. Shudderwock is used by a lot of shamans but if you get in hand early it sits there doing nothing for a long time. Until get in far late game you won’t play Shudderwock on average I’d have that in my hand for at least 10-12 turns before would even play it.
In that case having a card sit in hand for a while but that can actually become something useful and playable during that period is not as bad as you would think.

Unless talking wild though there won’t be a Nzoth or any of those other cards when expansion hits because it was a temporary thing to spice up the meta.

Basically better to play with quest but this is not a card to play against aggro decks and is more of a win more with board control. And 3 turns to hit face puts them at the 7-8 Mana mark for counter before can hit face which is basically when alot of bigger removals are available. It does force opponent to skip hitting face though.

Wow talk about a closing attack look at this 10 Mana pyroblast AND fireball so mage can now do 16 dmg to face on turn 10 without any spell dmg boost.

Laugh all want until it turns into a 5/5 Emeriss I mean it does say random so it could pull from other classes legendaries.

Wait a 5 cost version of that other minion with 5/5 stats and only turns into legendaries. This card can be very dangerous or very sucky but even as a sucky legendary it’s guaranteed 5/5. And depending on what becomes can be very scary in quest shammy. How about turn into a 5/5 Emeriss double stats of your hand twice.
Bad Luck Albatross
So basically a card that can screw over everyone except warlock if they’re holding Rafaam. In that case you would just be helping warlocks. But this would put a damper on resurecting priests loading they’re hand with cards don’t want to play.
Arcane Breath
So a rapid fire mage running dragons with all the generating cards could still run as Highlander style.

That’s basically why brought up it can be done as early as turn 7 but because it only requires overloaded Mana at 8+ Mana this is lethal since you could spend 2 turns nuking face for 20 dmg. Add in cards like life drinker that could steal 6 health and your getting a ridiculous card.
Still haven’t seen galakrond for shaman but this card heavily favors quest shammy.
It takes a lot to get mage to change archetype or just one really busted card *looks at frostlich jaina*. But for the most part tempo mage is probably the oldest archetype still used by mage. Looks like this is setting up a dragon/dragon Highlander mage.
Taking into account the support cards still have including beast that gains rush and 1 attack and discover spell if have a dragon. It also provides support for a big hand mage with all the refilling cards.
