23 Wild Cards Coming Back to Standard Temporarily, New Portraits For 1000 Wins, More Events, Search & Quest Improvements
This is going to be sweet. N’Zoth was always my fav card in the game. I have a sneaky feeling we’re going to see a return of control lock with expired merchant into double n’zoth.
Malygos Druid - #4 Legend (Thijs) - Uldum Post-Nerf
It’s worth checking Old Guardian’s video on Maly Druid that he uploaded yesterday on YouTube. He does a good job of explaining the different ways this deck can get lethal.
Malygos Druid - #4 Legend (Thijs) - Uldum Post-Nerf
Florist is mainly used to reduce the cost of maly with Elise being a decent second. Manipulating your hand throughout the game is part of the skill/enjoyment of the deck. If she hits Elise it’s a bit annoying but still helpful on occasion for being able to dump more of your hand.
Worst case for Florist is floop which doesn’t do anything really. Sometimes you might just want to play a flooped Florist if it guarantees hitting Maly. Sometimes you have to take a chance of a 50/50.
I have actually played a version without Florist and there is an argument that you don’t need her. Often 1 Maly and 4 moonfires is enough. Particularly as you can play Maly and then on the next turn double flooped Maly + Swipe and 4 moonfires.

Exactly why I like it so much. So many decisions throughout the game.
The list I was playing had Jepetto instead of bees. I’m not sold on Jepetto though, it’s sometimes a dead card clogging up your hand which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to Elise.
Malygos Druid - #4 Legend (Thijs) - Uldum Post-Nerf
I was playing this deck yesterday. It’s challenging but fun.
There are a large number of ways of winning with Elise/floop/florist.
The deck heavily relies on nourish though, if they’re both in the bottom half of your deck it’s very hard to win; this happened three times in 3 games for me.
Big Shaman - #73 Legend (wiRer) - Uldum Post-Nerf
Played against it and it can absolutely blow you up. Muckmorpher into warbringer is ridiculously scary to see. A bit high rolly though
Quest Malygos Druid - #8 Legend (MegaGliscor) - Uldum Post-Nerf
Really difficult deck to play well but huge amount of fun.
Cyclone Mage - #65 Legend (Apxvoid) - Uldum Post-Nerf
I think it’s a real shame Dune Sculptor hasn’t made it into cyclone mage. I get why, it’s too clunky and your hand is likely too full…however it looks like so much fun.
Quest priest feat Spirit of the dead
For anyone interested in this deck, Dekkster has been playing a similar build recently and has a few videos on YouTube about it.
It’s a fun deck that can absolutely destroy in the late game. The dream is to play Spirit + Gallery on T10 intro Bwonsamdi who then draws a shiii tonne of 1 mana big taunt/healing minions which you then can buff with your new hero power.
Saviors of Uldum Post-Nerf Decks - Hearthstone Pro & Streamer Deck Lists For All Classes
Yes it is worth dusting Barnes, he wasn’t seeing much play in anything other than big priest and some fringe Hunter spell decks.
You can craft him once you’ve disenchanted him- this is the same for all adventure cards.
Return Of The Pharaoh
Sweet deck and cool intro. Keep up the good work!
No need to apologise for your English, it’s absolutely fine.
Thief Rogue - #42 Legend (J_Alexander) - Saviors of Uldum
Debatable. Same mana cost but the extra point of attack is fairly important as it can trade into some 4 drops. It’s slightly less of a tempo loss.
On some occasions you can get multiple FC’s down but this doesn’t happen that often. Probably only Control Warrior which is already almost an auto win if you play it right. Brightwing is better against hunter etc.
Face collector is also pretty niche card whereas Brightwing can go into multiple decks.
Thief Rogue - #42 Legend (J_Alexander) - Saviors of Uldum
Tech against control warrior – makes that matchup almost 100% win. Togwaggle on Tess, and then play huge boards turn after turn.
Against agro you can use it on Zilliax for extra healing.
It’s not essential but it’s definitely worth having if you’re coming up against a lot of control.
Thief Rogue - #42 Legend (J_Alexander) - Saviors of Uldum
Interesting decision to swap 2x Pilfers for 2x Jar Dealers. I think it works. Not only can the one drops help with the quest but also provide a guaranteed 1 mana card for Miscreant’s/Edwin.
Main issue with the rogue quest is the early loss in tempo for a tempo class. 4 one drops help mitigate this somewhat.
I’ve found the best way to play this deck is to get stats on the board early and often whilst slowly completing the quest. Then in the mid to late game you can control the board and setting up for a big Tess to close it out.
Played 3 and won 3 with the new Jar Dealers at rank 4, two of which were against Highlander Hunter. Deck seems legit.
Thief Rogue - #42 Legend (J_Alexander) - Saviors of Uldum
Thanks for the reply dude, much appreciated.
Good to know re. Pilfer.
Yeah dude, queuing into warrior got me like ‘Dis gunna be goooood’.
Thief Rogue - #42 Legend (J_Alexander) - Saviors of Uldum
Quest Rogue is easily my favourite deck of the expansion. So many ridiculous games – getting Shudderwock off a Shaman is hilarious.
I’m quite surprised to see Pilfer in this list however, it seems a lot worse now with the quest as you can’t go t1- pilfer t2- Underbelly Fence (unless you have the coin). How have you found it?
I’ve also been considering dropping one or both Underbelly’s, they never seem to have much of an impact. Considering adding snip-snap as an awkward 3 drop for the opponent to deal with whilst you try and complete the quest.
Highlander Mage - Saviors of Uldum - #1 Legend (Kalas)
I don’t have her either and I don’t want to craft her just before the inevitable Pocket Galaxy nerf.
I’d go with Messenger raven. Solid card in Reno mage and gives you a chance of getting a Luna from it.
Highlander Mage - Saviors of Uldum - #4 Legend (Xilinhung)
This deck is really flexible so you could pretty much throw anything in her place.
Baleful Banker is a possibility.
Mountain giant is still good in this deck.
Sunreaver warmage.
With that being said, she looks a pretty decent craft at the moment, there are a lot of decks that can make use of her.
Nerfing Cleric seems like an absolute no-brainer to me. It wouldn’t destroy what the deck is trying to do but reduces the chance of doing it so early. Reduce its health by 1 or male it 2 mana and it’s still arguably decent.
I do think Divine Spirit needs to go at some point but I empathise with the ‘removes Priest’s only win con’ argument. That being said, a Quest deathrattle n’zoth Priest deck sounds spicy and could be on the cards…it would be a shame if combo priest totally negates that.
