Can Control Decks Return to Hearthstone in United in Stormwind?
As a Control fella, I’m happy to see I am definitely not the only one to keep trying to make the archetype work : however, some Quests in particular completely annihilate it, I’m thinking Mage and Warlock in particular. Druid however still loses against good Control.

It’s interesting that it is this way because I remember that not so long ago I used to crush almost all Mages with Warrior, because they simply lacked ‘pure’ removal like Warlocks, Warriors, and Rogues have. Instead they had only damage, which wasn’t enough against strong, buffed minions. Perhaps it was a particularly weak point for Mages too, that possibly helped.
I’ll seriously consider that suggestion. Thanks again

I’ve found Robes of Protection to be a wonderful idea, since all Mages can do against it is Fire Sale, and they need two without spell damage. Unfortunately this has still proved to be unreliable since I only have two Robes and sometimes Mages discover an extra Fire Sale.
However I hadn’t considered Watch Posts, thank you for the suggestion!
About win condition, typically my win condition is the warrior questline, and it does work against most classes but not against those that can deal damage to me regardless of board state, which Mages do. The problem with Warrior is that he has so many ways to deal with minions efficiently, but he can’t do sh*t against being fireballed in the face over and over again. And Mage consistently cleans my board every turn, so playing normally just fails. However Robes + Troublemaker tends to be a win unless Mage has already managed to complete their quest, which is what is difficult to prevent.

What do I think about the meta? I’m frickin done with it is what I am. FRICK MAGE. REALLY. I play a Questline Warrior and literally NO MATTER what I do, even if I play no minion, I always lose to them. like ALWAYS. Same goes for Warlocks. I don’t know what to do.
Blizzard President J. Allen Brack Announced That He's Stepping Down, New Leadership at The Company
Did Brack step down because of the lawsuit or the circumstances surrounding it?

This is nowhere near as good as Lackey. Because Lackey tutored Demons, you could get away with keeping low mana minions in your deck by having only high cost Demons. But since this doesn’t tutor anything, it means you musn’t have ANY low cost minions in your deck, which is far worse. This card would be better if it read something like : Summon a Taunt or Rush minion from your deck.
Sorcerer's Gambit
Technically Sorcerer is genderless, since masculine is considered default, unlike feminine version (Sorceress).
Raid the Docks
Heheheheh. 5/5 very fun.
A bit hesitant about the weapon effect since this prevents you from keeping any weapon you run. But the other effects are great!
Cargo Guard
This is GREAT! Clearing a 2/4 on T3 can be tricky, and even on T4 you typically need to spend your turn doing that. If this was a battlecry the card would be okay but as end of turn this makes it so much better!
Stormwind Freebooter
Omg, I love this! Hero attack boosts should be a thing in Warrior. Reminds me of Galakrond a bit! 4/5 and 5/5 in a Pirate deck

Not sure how to use this. It’s good with Rush but 6 attack is pretty much useless with 2 health. So you essentially pay 6 mana for this very fragile body that’s likely going to get cleared by a very cheap spell. In what world would you want that? Except for summonning soemthing from a deck that only has +7 mana minions, I fail to see the potential right now. This needs Rush somehow.
All Card Reveals + Theorycrafting Streams Coming Later Today, United in Stormwind Expansion Won't Be Delayed
I like how the article image went from the team completely exhausted to renewed energy. While I’m personally happy things are maintained in the end, I also hope all the Blizzard thing gets sorted in the background… Hopefully.
Lost in the Park
The real strength of this week is not a huge, final payoff : it’s several decent payoffs and a pretty strong final one, without being necessarily game changer either, it’s still pretty big.
