Huntsman Altimor
Ehhh. Without the Infuse, it’s just mediocre. With it, it can be pretty good, but that’s Infuse (4) and (8) respectively, meaning this must stick dead in your hand for quite a while. Not really impressed with it.
Relic Vault
About the card itself : I assume Relics are going to be SPELLS, powerful ones at that. Casting a spell twice is usually good, but in this case spending 3 mana upfront for the chance to do that twice kind of sucks, UNLESS the spells in question are high in value or effect. This card is entirely dependent on the quality of em Relics, so it’s hard to rate it as is, but as a 3 mana 2 durability location so far it does not stand out to me as particularly good. Blizzard has failed archetypes before, so I’m not counting on this one to be any different necessarily. 2/5

To that person who predicted that Draka was going to be DH : I don’t think so. I believe Xymox is going to be DH, and Draka Rogue.
Great Hall
This is actually very good, either in the very early or very late game. This one card can singlehandedly ruin some late game decks’ resources. Now, big minions are not the norm currently, but they do exist, and the threat of this being on the board will make your opponent reconsider how they want to play their card, and refrain from playing their big minions when they’d like. It’s solid at least in that department. For friendly minions, it seems okay if you can swarm the board with small things early on, but that’s situational. 4/5
Sire Denathrius
People are overrating this. Lifesteal or not, it remains a 10 mana minion, and it’s got much better competition in that mana slot. _Why_ would you run this when you have Onyxia and Neptulon that are arguably better and consistent in all situations? A 5 damage across the board is not a lot, and the average deck could expect to pump that up to say, 10 damage max. One good aspect of this is that it can hit face, but other than that he’s just too clunky. Lifesteal on a 10/10 body is good but it’s unlikely to ever be able to attack, and it doesn’t have Taunt. Even if you get good area damage with this, note that this effect is by nature highly inconsistent, making the cards worse than Onyxia in almost all aspects. It’s really just, eh. Perhaps if it cost less than 10. 2/5
Castle Kennels
Really nothing to write home about, Control isn’t really Hunter’s gameplan. It would be decent at 1 mana, at 2 it’s just mediocre. The Rush part being highly situational, you pretty much can expect to get “mostly” +6 attack out of this. Spread across three turns. That’s pretty terrible, it’s like a worse Cold Blood. Meh. 3/5 is a very generous rating.
Neptulon the Tidehunter
Another factor is I think Neptulon is more likely to retain significant board presence after the clear, which cannot always be said for Onyxia’s whelps.
Inkveil Ambusher
Big boobas. Also seems pretty good in my book. You pretty much get to attack for 4 and have a 1/2 left for 2, which is quite decent.
Topple the Idol
I think it’s good provided you have enough big minions in your deck to make it work. But you don’t. 2/5

Unfavorable matchup against Druid, Demon Hunter, Mage, Rogue. Need I say more?
Hearthstone Patch 23.2.2 Notes - Nerfs to Drek'thar, Multi-Strike, Dragonbane Shot + 17 Cards Buffed, Battlegrounds Balance Changes
Agreed. This card wasn’t exactly broken either.
Hearthstone Patch 23.2.2 Notes - Nerfs to Drek'thar, Multi-Strike, Dragonbane Shot + 17 Cards Buffed, Battlegrounds Balance Changes
Look at Blizzard go, nerfing Drek’thar into the ground after selling the diamond copy for over 20 bucks. Blizzard… don’t do this. Drek’thar should have gotten some kind of buff to stats or something else to make up for the nerf somewhat.
Is There Enough Depth in Voyage to the Sunken City Meta?
“Dredge cards often do something else” haha… demon hunter 5/2 for 5 only dredges with nothing else on top when Rogue gets 4/3 +2 attack buff for 3 mana. Interesting balancing choices Blizzard…
Shop Update: Leeroy Bundle (Paladin Skin + Card Back + 5x Paladin Pack) Available For $14.99
I for one appreciate new tier 1 skins. So many “mass produced” skins have been dumped into the game that at this point those are the only ones I’d consider buying anyway.
Evolving Aggression: How Aggro Decks Changed in Hearthstone Over the Years
I used to perceive aggro as the most brainless, unfair decks there were. Then, due to meta shifts, I found myself trying to pick up aggro decks, and utterly failing. I thought I sucked, but I realised the more obvious explanation was that aggro decks were not as braindead as they appeared to be to a novice.
The effect is good, but I’m not so sure about a 4 mana 4/5 with no immediate impact whatsoever.
