Nah. A 6/5 for 6 mana that lets what’s realistically one pirate attack with charge is just so much worse. That would make the card way too slow.
Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece
Not a hopeless card, but its combination of high cost, lack of keyword and synergies alongside its inability to deal face damage probably make this card rather irrelevant. It’s not BAD, but without particular synergies it’s probably just better to run something else.
Edwin, Defias Kingpin
No. Edwin only works on the turn you play him. You can’t endlessly milk your deck with him.
Edwin, Defias Kingpin
Weaker than OG Edwin due to how unpredictable and inconsistent it is. This trades a lot of Edwin’s power as a jack of all trades for some draw engine instead. This card can be really good in late game but it’s unimpressive the rest of the time, you realistically don’t wanna play it if you don’t have at least 2 or 3 mana extra.

I have been waiting for Charge to return to Standard! This is great. Maybe it would warrant a slight stat nerf somewhere along the way, but removing Charge from the main body would make it both slow and awkward and kill the card so that’s not happening.

Trust me, I share you hatred of the Mage Questline, but I highly doubt Quest disruption is being printed.
Thankfully, some specific strategies can beat Mage, there are some boards that they simply can’t deal with since they lack any destroy effects they have to stick to dealing damage, and if you have a lot of health and a lot of pressure you can pull through their spells. Alternatively you can avoid playing minions to slow them getting their Frost spells.

To be honest, looking at almost all the miniset cards already revealed, I also don’t really expect the mini set to change much to the meta. Which is fine, I’d say. But most of the cards are low impact at best, didn’t really see many auto includes in there except maybe that one Warrior pirate that will definitely be a significant boost to all kinds of Pirate Warriors, including in Standard.
I’m curious about the Rogue and Shaman Legendaries in particular, but they’d have to be really good to single handedly change the deal for these classes.
Maddest Bomber
Imagine if it only targeted minions as opposed to characters. That would actually have been playable.T his is just meme that you can’t even try to make work.
Multicaster
I feel like Questline Mage may potentially use this, and that’s not something I’m lovin.
Hullbreaker
Can be great in Questline Warlock, I feel. Potentially lots of self damage
Doggie Biscuit
That’s a really interesting Tradeable effect. The card itself is unimpressive at best.

Can you smell that Edwin reprint? … AS A HERO CARD? (maybe?!)
Defias Cannoneer
That shit is CRAZY! Much better than the 3/4 that gives you +2 attack.
Hallow's End Event Celebration Starts Today! Two Free Skins, Skin Bundle, Free Packs, Dual-Class Arena, Diablo in Duels and Battlegrounds
I have to say, Pirate Garrosh looks really cool. Since Warrior is my main alongside Rogue, I’m quite happy that it’s the one free skin we get! What do you think about the new skins Stonekeep?
Shop Update: Horseman Uther & Aranna Starseeker Hero Portraits Available Again (Gold Purchase Available)
Aranna is available but Deathwing still isn’t? Are those in chronological order?
Interesting point, I never considered the fact that indeed you can just use it without any Pirate support. That being said Standard is a different world now and paying 6 for 6 face damage is actually uninmpressive. You shouldn’t be worried. Classes that have lots of face damage already have access to better options.
This will only be a real threat in Pirate decks.
