Platebreaker
Couldn’t have said it better. People are overreacting and acting as if this kills Warrior as a class altogether which obviously isn’t true.
Platebreaker
It’s not like Warrior can’t get armor after this card is used? I get your point but people will probably run max 1 of these in their decks and it doesn’t mean warrior can’t get armor afterwards. This is a very fair card in all sense. Armor itself can be seen as a very overpowered things in the amounts warrior and Druid got them back then, I don’t see this card being very useful anymore. It would’ve been a Godsend during Kobolds and Catacombs and Rise of shadows but now it’s hardly useful. So long as they don’t print some new op armor cards all over again. Dr Boom will rotate soon.
Bronze Explorer
The paladin legendary can buff this to be a 5/6 lifesteal and that’s pretty damn great, less so with poisonous. It’s better not to look at a card individually but rather on the context of the most likely meta and the class synergy in general. Lifesteal on this card is probably the strongest keyword they could put on it, divine shield would be great too though.
Scion of Ruin
You’ve forgotten what Warrior Galagrond does.. This card literally has the invoke mechanic so obviously you wanna use it with the +4/+4 buff which makes this card insane.
Scion of Ruin
You should obviously aim to use this with the Galagrond +4/+4 buff.. This is not an early game card by any means, it gets massive value with Galagrond and maybe even Akali. That makes it potentially 3 mana summon three 7/6 rush dragons, no idea why you’d rate this card with only 2.5 stars :S
Scion of Ruin
Remember that Warrior Galagrond draws cards and give them +4/+4. In other words this becomes a 3 mana summon three 7/6 dragons with rush and that’s insane to say the least. Akali the Rhino can also give this card +5/+5… I wouldn’t underestimate it, in invoke warrior decks this card is an auto include because it’s simply powerful by itself as well as Galagrond. 5/5
Cobalt Spellkin
The effect is awesome but is it worth the tempo loss? In alot of cases not really but some decks can definitely make use of this and it’s a great arena card for sure. 4/5.
Platebreaker
Warrior isn’t the only class to use armor to some extent.. Druid was argueably a bigger problem with it back then. Armor is nowhere near op enough for this card to matter now. It should have been printed at the time of Kobolds and Catacombs.
And no, it doesn’t make warrior hero power useless, that’s like saying that hunter hero power is useless cause healing exists ๐ No one is gonna use cards like these unless armor is op which it isn’t anymore.
Platebreaker
Hahaha…. This card was printed so freaking late at this point.. I’m glad it exists but c’mon Blizzard, make these cards when armor is actually busted xD
Mindflayer Kaahrj
Erhm what? First of all it says “choose enemy minion” … ๐ So you can’t even use the effect to gain benefit from something like Injured Blademaster.. This card is incredibly bad.
Moreover it has nothing to do with seanse, it summons the chosen minion when it dies rather than putting a copy in your hand after all. I repeat, this card is incredibly bad. No matter how you look at it…
Mindflayer Kaahrj
2 stars at best. Unless it gets some card that makes the effect useful.. It’s a decent value 3 drop but that’s all there is to it
Mindflayer Kaahrj
I don’t get it. I’d understand if this card could somehow take the opponent’s minion down with it but a 3/3 doesn’t seem to matter much. It should have taunt or poisonous to make it work. Unless priest gets some deathrattle trigger cards or something, this won’t do anything. The fact that you can’t target your own minions with the ability is awkward to say the least. :S
It doesn’t even benefit from resurrection as the battlecry won’t stay so what the heck is this used for exactly? It’s an absolutely dead card against aggro decks as well. Horrible desing, I hate Priest but I feel bad you get such a crappy legendary lmao.
Chronobreaker
Yeah it being a deathrattle really cripples this card, Duskbreaker is better in every way. I also don’t see how Priest would want to run that many dragons so eh, probably won’t see much play.
Chronobreaker
This is pretty hard to evaluate, onesided board clears are always strong but having it as a conditional deathrattle makes it slow and also makes it a bad topdeck card. I don’t see Priest wanting to run all that many dragons so this probably won’t see that much play. The Warlock version is way better even though it hits own board as well.
Stormhammer
Finally a good weapon for Sham.. Palad.. Hunter? Ok.
This is kinda scary, this card alone could allow hunter to run a deck with lots of cheap dragons that it can play and smash the hero power for 5 damage per turn and some tempo while playing cheap dragons along with it every turn. Seems pretty decent to me!
This card might be the reason decks have to run some weapon destruction (and now stealing lul). Very interesting.
Tentacled Menace
Big decks. You draw something big and hope the opponent draws something small. That will give your big card a huge discount while making the opponent’s card pretty much useless. Therefor this effect is actually really strong as mana cheat should never be underestimated.. But it probably won’t see much play considering how irrelevant Big decks have been lately.
Tentacled Menace
This is actually a pretty great card for any “Big decks”. Big decks haven’t been a thing for a while and unless Big Paladin becomes a thing thanks to Nozdormu, I don’t see this card seeing much play.
Depth Charge
I can already see Kripp having op field in arena when the opponent plays Zul’drak ritualist and does exactly that… ๐
You probably meant control warrior :>
And it doesn’t destroy anything, warrior can gain armor even after this card is played. It just exists as a counter card because aa things have been up till now there hasn’t been any counterplay for high armor gain. This card is perfect as it is.
