Elemental Allies
I really hope elementals make a returns in some future expansion while this is on standards, elemental mage was always so much fun (though alot of that was thanks to DK Jaina) that I really hope it returns. Maybe a set with pirates and elementals?
This is a 5 star card btw.
Aeroponics
Turns our Druid got a sizeable amount of treant support. This deck may turn out to be very powerful one.
I’m not happy about that but oh well.
Ritual Chopper
A 2 mana 4/2 weapon on first turn and when you invoke… Because why not :S
I thought this expansion wouldn’t be that big on aggro decks but this reveal stream sure proved me wrong… shame but oh well.
Murozond the Infinite
Priest doesn’t really get “everything the opponent plays”, just a fraction as it won’t trigger battlecries and the spells will have random targets. Your opponent can also make the first move with those cards before you so yeah.. I think this card isn’t nearly as good as people think. It’s an 8/8 that doesn’t affect board aside from board clear spells (in which case it affects itself as well..) and maybe taunt minions. Of course if you get to play something like the Warlock legendary dragon from this it’s very powerful but how often will stuff like that really happen?
Murozond the Infinite
How often is your situation identical to your opponent? Not very often… The opponent is going to play answers to your plays, that means that using this card isn’t going to give you nearly as much benefit as the opponent got from the cards he played aside from the extra 8/8 dragon you get on board with this. This also doesn’t use battlecries and the targets are random with spells or so I’d think? So I definitely wouldn’t call this card all that good, it’s extremely situational and it doesn’t exactly put your opponent into disadvantage.
The only actually powerful thing this card does is that it can use hero cards, especially Galakrond cards. But even then, do you get the battlecries or not? If not.. it’s also terrible.
3 stars, hardly better than Tess or Talanji.
Dark Skies
This will be tried out in a control warlock deck for sure. An aggro deck will probably have 5-6 health worth of minions on board by turn 2-3 and this will clear them so is it really that bad? As others mentioned this goes pretty well with Acolyte too. Warlock seems to like having lots of cards in hand this expansion so I wouldn’t call this a terrible card by any means.. I just wish Warlock could have spell damage from a non-minion source somehow, that would make this alot better.
3 stars, will see some play.
Blowtorch Saboteur
Very nice card against quest Shaman, other than that… eh not much of a use. But it is a 3 mana 3/4 with an upside so it’s not a bad card by any means. 3 stars.
Dragonmaw Poacher
Almost everyone will be running dragons in this expansion… When the set releases you might as well put two of these in your decks right away lol
Treenforcements
You do realize that quest druid lives from value cards and this hardly has any. The 4 mana Mark of the Loa literally gives a minion +2/+4 and taunt as well as summons two 3/2 beasts, no matter how you look at it that card is better fit for the deck and it’s not even used in all of them.
I can see tiny potential for token druid but this isn’t fit for quest druid one bit.
Goru the Mightree
Yeah but in a world where there’s cards like the Warlock dragon that casts hellfire with 5/5 body I have hard time seeing things like Treants doing very well.. And that’s just one example of many.
Don’t get me wrong, Summoning 5 3/3 treants is incredibly powerful but there’s lots of answers for stuff like that in this expansion alone.
Treenforcements
@Lluadian Eh I don’t see it. I’ve played alot of quest druid and the thing that deck needs the most is simply even more value. The deck is full of great cards already and one with a tiny effect like that won’t be better than any of the cards uses right now. I wouldn’t even want to include this in the Worthy Expedition discover pool.
Treenforcements
Instead of questioning my comment I’d like you to give me arguements why I’m wrong :S
Token druid doesn’t want a 1 mana 2/2, two 1/1 would be better like living roots does. It also doesn’t really wanna use the +2 health taunt thing as you’ll run out of steam really fast with small effect like that.
Quest druid also wants way more value than a weak 1 mana spell with small effect so I stand by my opinion, this card is bad.
Treenforcements
Horrible desing. Treant decks don’t want this and neither does Druid quest.. 1 star, pointless card.
Goru the Mightree
Won’t be good enough unless we get more treant support. And no, Treeinforcement won’t be it.
Embiggen
Oh my goodness do I love this! Now I really wanna play some kind of big druid deck with lots of dragons, these spells and frizz to lessen the costs this increases. I really hope Druid gets a few control tools too so this deck can genuinely work.
I mean c’mon this is Keleseth x2 with a small drawback, playing even one of these in any minion heavy deck will be very powerful.
I’d also like to mention that Druid just got a powerful ramp card as well which makes using this alot easier. 5 stars, no doubt
Wyrmrest Purifier
This is clearly a meme card. In all honesty I prefer cards like this way more than cards like Desert obelisk so I’m happy there’s at least easy random fun to be had than just “oh I opened this epic and it’s useless for me”. I’d kinda wished this turned all neutral cards into totally random class cards for the maximum meme synergy though 😀
More arcane missiles? 5 stars.
