Hagatha's Scheme
This is one of the best AoE cards in Hearthstone, ever. At its best (if you draw it early), it’s like a Dragon’s Fury minus the randomness and minus the deckbuilding requirements; the requirement of staying in your hand for a few turns is significant, but this is still fantastic. 5/5.
Kalecgos
Sweet card. It’s like Arcane Tyrant in that it lets you clear the board AND put down a body of your own in the same turn, except it’s a lot stronger and it’s a turn 10 play. It can even be used more proactively by playing Luna’s Pocket Galaxy if you don’t need the board clear. Auto-include in Control Mage, if that archetype is viable- which is far from certain. 4/5.
Spellward Jeweler
Decent tech card. 3/4 body for 3 mana is great; if Blood Knight and Mind Control Tech can see play, then this card could conceivably see play too, in decks that don’t have Nightmare Amalgam tribal synergies. 3/5.
The Forest's Aid
Great value and poor tempo make this card good vs. Control decks, but poor vs. Aggro and Combo decks. If value is mostly worthless like it was in the Year of the Raven (REALLY hope that’s not the case), then this is worthless. 2/5.
Assassinate is a 5-mana spell that kills anything. Also, no one uses it; single-target removal spells people actually use are spells like Walk the Plank, Polymorph, Hex, SW: Death, Sap, Execute, Hunter’s Mark, Shield Slam… basically, 1 to 4 mana cost spells. This spell is therefore cost effective against 1 to 4 attack minions. Super good vs. Secret Mage, triggers Counterspell for 0 mana.
Spending all your mana is annoying though; maybe you want to cast this then have 2 mana leftover to heal your Wild Pyro, or you want to trigger an enemy deathrattle then play a minion, or you want to cast this first to play around a secret like killing Misha then triggering explosive trap before you play a minion… BUT you can’t because this consumes all your mana even if you’re killing a 0-attack doomsayer, so it screws up your sequencing. 3/5.
