Barista Lynchen
IT DOESN”T WORK WITH SHUDDERWOCK. Shudderwock plays battlecries as if he was casting them, meaning he can’t hit himself. Since Shudderwock is casting this battlecry, he won’t add a copy of himself to your hand. The only circumstance where you get a Shudderwock using this card, is if you already have a shudderwock on the board and you play this.
Now that that’s cleared up, time for my rating. This effect is very powerful even if the Shudderwock combo doesn’t work. This is a five mana card that adds potentially up to 6 cards to your hand. 5/5
Barista Lynchen
It does not copy BC minions in your hand, otherwise it would specify that. Also, Shudder will not return because he currently has no standard minions that say “Summon an exact copy of this minion” meaning shudderwock can’t copy himself for Lynchens battlecry to add more shudderwocks to my hand.
Underbelly Fence
It’s very easy to get cards from another class, this will without a doubt see some sort of play in burgle or spectral cutlass rogue. 5/5
Tak Nozwhisker
Glad this card is 7 mana so you have to do something else (Examples being: coin, or prep) in order to play espionage. The mana cost is what makes this balanced as opposed to broken. 4/5
Lucentbark
Taunt is what makes this card shine. I can choose not to revive this minion until the time is right by just holding my heal cards. 4/5
Desperate Measures
Can be decent at times, and Pali secrets are always good, so no need to worry about a bad secret. Don’t combo with many things, but it definitely doesn’t make it bad. 3.5/5
Call to Adventure
Only really works with prelate, and even then, it’s not game breaking or anything. As a standalone card, this rather sucks. 2/5
Big Bad Archmage
Definitely won’t see any sort of play outside of arena. You MIGHT get a good 6 drop with this, but it’s no guarantee. 2/5
Aranasi Broodmother
I don’t think this card will see play past the first few weeks of experimentation. People will just run Applebaum instead because it costs less, and has a controllable effect. 1/5
Lifeweaver
7 total stats for 3 is quite juicy looking. Random Druid spells may not seem fantastic, but it’s definitely not bad when paired with this stat line. 3.5/5
Dreamway Guardians
Firefly with lifesteal. Same stat line and mana cost, only difference is you can’t play this on turn one, and you must play this on turn two as a package deal. This will be an auto-include in this new aggro Druid archetype Bliz is pushing. 5/5
Eager Underling
Actually, thanks for pointing that out. I completely forgot that Fungalmancer was rotating. I’ll up my rating to 2/5 because there is no longer a better card in standard. Card is still pretty bad in my opinion.
Plot Twist
I’m less scared of Fel Lord Betrug, and more scared of Augmented Elekk. Handlock is getting a massive buff with this card, not to mention that this combos with other cards like Dollmaster. The versatility is insane, you can snag some AOE, fish for mountain giants, or just get a better hand. 5/5
Vendetta
Eviscerate, but it’s zero mana and doesn’t need the combo. I play spectral cutlass rogue and this card with fit nicely. 5/5
Nine Lives
I know that Devilsaur egg has just rotated, but there are a bunch of other eggs this works with. Past eggs, it has a very good effect that allows you to adapt to different situations depending on what has died that game. 3.5/5
Magic Trick
At first glance, this doesn’t look great. Look closer, however, and this card shines. Combo mage is going to eat this card right up. I can fire off two spells early game to buff my mana wyrm and mana addict. I’m actually rather scared of where combo mage is going. 4/5
Eager Underling
Compare this to Fungalmancer, except considerably worse. You don’t get to pick your targets like Fungalmancer and this a deathrattle, not a battlecry. Just play Fungalmancer instead, this card is worth 20 dust. 1/5
Everything I was going to say has already been said. 5/5
