Infested Goblin
Really, the only thing I can say about this card is “okay I guess.” It probably won’t see too much play, but it’s a good card to have. 3/5.
High Priest Amet
This + Boar + Divine Spirit 2x + Topsy Turvy = Ez rank 1. I like this card, buffing it in any way makes it really really good. 4/5.
Grandmummy
Don’t understand where all the 1-star ratings are coming from. The people that compare this with Fire Fly have to remember that Fire Fly was insanely broken and played in nearly every deck until rotation, and you still see it in Wild. Just because there’s a better card in Wild doesn’t mean this is a 1-star card. Priest has almost zero early game options in Standard right now, this is the card it needs to push the early game. Definitely a 4-star card.
Generous Mummy
Play 4 of these, opponent plays Antonidas, queue the JoJo ending theme song.
1/5
Frightened Flunky
Zoinks Scoob, this will be run in every control warrior deck until the end of time. 5/5
Diseased Vulture
Hex Crow saw a tiny bit of play, but this is more limited and doesn’t summon 3-drops as fast. Could see some play in Zoo, but that’s about it. 3/5.
Anubisath Warbringer
This could be a 9/9/9 and still wouldn’t see play. It’s sooooo slooooow. 1/5.
Whirlkick Master
The pool of cards she pulls from is just filled with too much crap for this to see play. 2/5.
Sir Finley of the Sands
Imagine combining Baku and Keleseth. This card is disgusting. It takes the gross Paladin upgraded hero power and makes it highroll based, making it feel even worse when you lose against it. Yes, I hate the card, but I rate on how good a card is, and how much play it will see, not my personal bias. 5/5.
Tip the Scales
I don’t think I’d run this card in a Murloc Paladin deck, murlocs are aggro oriented, meaning turn 8 doesn’t roll around a lot of the time, you either win or lose before then. Plus, drawing this most of the time in the early game is killer because murloc decks strive for consistent draws and fast murloc buffs to help them win the game faster. Still, a board filler is quite powerful, and if you do manage to get to turn 8, you get a very nice push to win the game. 3/5.
Tip the Scales
Yes, but Recruit was a Kobolds and Catacombs expansion specific keyword, just like how Echo was a Witchwood mechanic. This is why you see cards that say “repeatable this turn” instead of Echo.
Fishflinger
Quite good, actually. Murloc decks seem to be taking over right now, and the thing they need most is card generation. 4/5.
Bloodsworn Mercenary
Definitely an overrated card. After the first week of testing, this card won’t see any play. Pain Warrior isn’t good, especially when cards like Rotface and Animated Berserker rotated into Wild. Damaging your own minion for a copy just isn’t worth it. 2/5.
Anka, the Buried
This is interesting. This card is entirely dependant on other deathrattle cards. I’m not saying this card is bad, but it doesn’t work without good deathrattles. This is one of those cards that’s very hard to rate because of how dependent it is on other cards, so I’ll rate it right in the middle, 3/5.
Riftcleaver
Let’s just remember that Obliterate was a card only obtained from the Lich King and Arfus. You couldn’t just put it in a deck because it was that powerful. 5/5.
Taunt Warrior won’t work without printing more good Warrior taunts. You can’t just print a bunch of taunt buffs and expect us to work with taunts we already have. 2/5.
