For this deck, definitely Velen. In general, Elise is a safer craft, used in more decks.

Pyromancer works as intended. The evolved minions are summoned mid-spell before it has finished resolving. After Pyro is on the board, the last phase of Evolve occurs and it finishes casting. Pyro recognises that a spell has finished casting and triggers.

You simply have to be faster than them. You can assemble your burst more quickly and just kill them. If you are seeing that many Mages than obviously you need to tech against the field. Cut the Greater Healing Potion for an Eater of Secrets.

You can’t go wrong with Raza. Many people play a version without Velen that’s a little bit more value oriented.

Unless they don’t understand their own game, for which I give them enough credit to do so, the won’t be touching neither UI nor the Death Knight. Obvious candidates seem to be Spreading Plague and Nourish’s ramp in some capacity.
The only way in which the can touch Malfurion is to nerf the hero power to give 2atk/2armour, so… maaaaaaybe, at which point people who crafted him get their dust back. I don’t see a world in which Druid is not strong. Maybe just not so much stronger than everything else and actually balanced.

I think Kabal is a must-have. Getting Karazhan would be nice – it has a ton of powerful cards that are good across many classes, but it’s not strictly necessary. But it’s fun to play through the missions!

Velen is not replaceable and most definitely worth to craft. If you don’t believe me, you can listen to Frodan’s wise words: https://clips.twitch.tv/CleverFlirtyAntelopeCoolCat.
Although the deck is built in a way where it can handle Jade Druid, it’s still not a guaranteed win. A nerf to that class will only make this deck even stronger, potentially the #1 in the meta.

You don’t need to play all of those cycling minions such as Gnomish Inventor, Novice and Loot Hoarder since without Velen you are not drawing into a kill turn as fast as possible. With powerful cards like Statue and Ysera you can consider Shadow Essence and Y’Shaarj if you have him and I would recommend getting the Karazhan adventure – Barnes is a perfect fit for your deck and it will give you Priest of the Feast as well.
The most important piece missing from your deck is Kabal Songstealer, which is an incredibly powerful card and common.
Glacial Mysteries
You are totally right. After all, it has been almost an entire month now, the balanced meta has been solved and it will never change for the rest of Hearthstone’s existence.

Malfurion 100%. Both the battlecry and the hero power are insane and The Lich King is starting to fall a little bit out of favour because everybody is running The Black Knight right now.

Thank you very much for the kind words!
I do plan to further expand this guide (waiting on a couple of visual assets) and improve the substitute sections on all of my guides to the best of my ability. We realise that not everybody can afford to invest into this game as much as the streamers and pro players do and we try to provide the best budget alternatives whenever that’s possible.

It’s on par with other control decks, you think it’s too much because it’s a combination of the Priest class’ lack of draw and the highlander deck type.

Auctioneer is mentioned heavily in the description but he is not in the current version of the deck.
Also, this deck really has to consider playing one or two Mire Keepers – more ramp means you can start infesting people sooner and more consistently.
The Lich King Boss Adventure – Deathrattle Rogue Deck List Guide
I tried this approach later and it can work, but I think it’s less reliable. With the increased conditions and the lack of Shadowsteps (unless you hard mulligan for them and restart until you opening hand is Quest, Shadowstep, Shadowstep) really hurts (also no Vanish).
I got in on the fourth try with that deck and I saw some people have success with it, but I think Big Rogue is an easier, more reliable deck. Though currently the best option seems to be jamming murlocs in any deck and going face.

Interesting, Keleseth on 2 was the key for me. I did it first try on EU too, lucked into turn 2 Prince and an early Kel’Thuzad with coins from the burgling effects. It was such an overkill that he didn’t get off even a single hero power in the post-Frostmourne stage.

I beat him on the 2nd try with this deck and Chakki used an almost identical list for his Rogue run.
KFT Kazakus N'Zoth Highlander Priest Deck List Guide (August 2017, Standard)
While the body is good for the mana cost, the deck doesn’t have too many cheap spells to combine with him and saving them up is a bad idea. It’s an anti-aggro card first and foremost. 6 health is not easily killed, but 3 attack means it doesn’t trade up with anything that costs 4 or more, making it a poor choice against midrange decks and when you want to play on the board.
The deck has enough sustain and its anti-aggro tools are more oriented at killing the opposing minions instead of healing up. It’s a fine option as far as the card itself goes, but I don’t think it’s good in this meta. Many people play Priest of the Feast and Healing Potion, which is a very slow and passive play style that doesn’t really remove the problem and just delays.
KFT Kazakus N'Zoth Highlander Priest Deck List Guide (August 2017, Standard)
The Quest is really a tech card against Mage decks that want to burn you out of the game and play Alexstrasza. The deck doesn’t have too many deathrattle minions to boost Amara out quickly and have her serve as a Reno Jackson effect against fast decks and the most realistic way to complete the quest is with N’Zoth, at which point you are on your way to winning the game.
Right now the only mage deck in sight is Quest Mage, which doesn’t care if you are at 40 or 100 health.
KFT Frost Lich Jaina Control Mage Deck List Guide (August 2017, Standard) - Theorycraft
There is a card replacement section at the end of the guide. Out of all cards, Firelands Portal is among the ones I would recommend not cutting.
Early in the game you want to be drawing your other cards, not Jade Idol. Shuffling it in the deck will make your draws worse and it won’t ramp your jade count. In the lategame, you shouldn’t be worried about overdrawing, it usually doesn’t happen. Besides, the modern versions of the deck don’t even play Auctioneer.
