Lesser Ruby Spellstone
Hmmmm “Play 2 Elementals” … that means Water Ellies summoned by Frost Lich Jaina’s hero power won’t count, doesn’t it?
Grumble, Worldshaker
… and it’s an Elemental – so any cards with the “if you summoned an Elemental last turn…” text will be primed ready to drop next turn.
It also benefits from the mana cost reduction from Fire Plume Harbinger, potentially making it only a 4 mana drop (even less if you get silly/lucky with Far Sight) – there is some good combo potential here, especially with Kalimos, Fire Ellie, Blaze Ellie, Servant of Kalimos, Tol’vir Stoneshaper or Al’Akir – but even a 1 mana Hallazeal has potential as it’s much cheaper to combo with Lighting Storm or Volcano for a big swing/heal.
Silver Vanguard
But what 8 drops do Hunters run that would make it worthwhile? You’re not really going to chuck a couple of Giant Sand Worms into a deck just so you’ve got a potential pull from the Deathrattle (Lich King maybe) and if you’ve already drawn the Silver Vanguard when you play the Oozeling it’ll not be able to clone the Deathrattle anyway.
There _might_ be a niche slot for it in Paladin – but it’s otherwise a pretty terrible card.
Silver Vanguard
Could be a chuckle in Wild – pulls Kel’thuzad who then resurrects it at the end of the turn… without you spending any mana that turn. So you could play a Sludge Belcher, Earth Ellie or some other useful Taunt for Kel’thuzad to resurrect every turn.
However, you will have had to have just basically wasted turn 7 – which will probably loose you game. I’m pretty sure this card only exists to give a bad evolution.
Cheat Death
This on 2 – Coldlight on 3 … works for me ๐
The secret would be fairly obvious and your opponent could just then ignore the Coldlight – since secrets trigger on your opponent’s turn you couldn’t just run your Coldlight into something to kill it and get it back in your hand… however, you _could_ play Ancient Brewmaster instead…
I still play Wild Mill Rogue occasionally – I think I might have to try a Standard version once K&C is released.
Rin, the First Disciple
Now Warlock *just* needs a card that summons Millhouse Manastorm for your opponent…
Seeping Oozeling
I’m not sure I see the point… same cost as Highmane with worse stats – and considering how good Highmane’s deathrattle is the odds on you getting a better deathrattle to warrant the -1/-1 statline is pretty slim.
… and because the card doesn’t have a natural deathrattle it wouldn’t even come back with N’Zoth; granted that could be a good thing in Wild if you don’t want to pollute your pool of dead deathrattles like Highmane, Sylvanarse or Sludge Belcher.
Oddly the deck this would fit best in might be Wild Jade Deathrattle Rogue as like an extra Unearthed Raptor.
If the text had read something like “Battlecry: Discover a deathrattle from your deck and gain it” then it _might_ have been playable – stick it in a deck with Arfus or Sergeant Sally for lulz, Devilsaur Egg or maybe Skelemancer at a push – but with it being a Hunter card that sits at the same cost as Savannah Highmane with a random deathrattle effect … dubious.
Kathrena Winterwisp
The problem with Hunter and Legendaries traditionally is Hunter’s poor card draw – most games you’ll not actually get to play the Legendary as the game is over before you draw it. Hunter’s consistency comes mostly from having 2 of everything.
However – this is almost like card draw x2 in a Beast deck so it sort of addresses one of Hunter’s biggest weaknesses … but it doesn’t do it until turn 8 so it’ll not fit well into any current Hunter archetype; this will live or die depending on the cards released alongside it I guess.
Twig of the World Tree
If the mana crystals aren’t empty there could be some potential for hi-jinks here; if you can hold the Twig at 1 durability until you need an instant 10 mana boost.
Malygos > break Twig > Swipe; or theoretically Swipe x2, Moonfire x2 for 30 face damage and 12 damage to all enemy minions.
Tyrantus > break Twig > Menagerie Warden > Defender of Argus; gives 2x 13/13 Taunt creatures that cannot be targeted by spells for removal.
… and you can always squeeze a free Kun in there as well …
Don’t think it’ll make a totally viable Standard combo Druid on its own… not one that’s stronger than Big Druid, Aggro Token Druid or Jade Druid anyway.
Tempo Mage Deck List Guide - Boomsday - August 2018
Faceless Summoner isn’t a bad call – you get 2 minions out of it so the odds are one of them will survive to curve into Bonemare next turn.
I use 1x Mirror Entity and 1x Potion of Polymorph rather than 2 Entities – it’s less obvious and they can be played together… just be careful of the order in which you play them, you want Mirror Entity to trigger *before* Potion of Polymorph otherwise you get a Sheep.
… but I’m not sure I’d trust me, I’m not running any Sorcerer’s Apprentices:
-1 Babbling Book
-2 Sorcerer’s Apprentice
-1 Mirror Entity
+2 Faceless Summoner
+1 Spellbreaker
+1 Potion of Polymorph
Malygos Control Hunter
If your main goal is to try and burn your opponent down with Malygos + Spells, you probably want to consider Emperor Thaurissan… gives you a chance to reduce the cost of Malygos and make the Arcane Shot (and On The Hunt) free for a theoretical 26 damage on turn 8.
Could also be worth experimenting with a couple of Coldlight Oracles and the Creator as well – but don’t make the too deck minion heavy or it’ll dilute the usefulness of the Trackers which should be in there to improve your odds of pulling those key Legendaries.

Considering it’s like 70% blind luck, you can’t get much more balanced ๐
Marin the Fox Deck Lists - Deck Roundup
I think I had a Priest try and do the OTK loot chest on me the yesterday (Play Marin, next turn PoM on the chest, Divine Spirit x2, Inner Fire – gives a 32/32 charge creature effectively)…
… I’m guessing he wasn’t too happy when I dropped a Bone Mare on it before he got the chance – 4/12 puts it right in the blind-spot too ๐
Hearthstone Patch 9.4 Notes - Marin the Fox, Kobolds and Catacombs Pre-Purchase
$1 is worth less than โฌ1 – so USD 49.99 should equate to about EUR 43 (rather than the EUR 49.99 charged); _however_ digital goods have VAT applied at the point of receipt in the EU so you can probably add around an extra 20% on (depending on where in EU you are, for instance 19% for DE, 21% for NL) – which means Blizzard probably get about the same amount, per-pack, for EU sales as they do for NA.
Tavern Brawl - Miniature Warfare
Most of the Legendaries in that list are in Standard – and I’d guess Mysterious Challenger is the MVP with the Wild Secrets and he’s only Epic.
… or Bonemare which is Standard common and totally OP in this brawl (as opposed to just OP as it is normally). I was playing with a Druid deck, Ancient of War into Bonemare (5/10 Taunt) on T2 (1 on the coin) is a pretty solid start as you can then dump a load of minions behind it and buff them.
Wild Legendaries aren’t as OP as you might think.
How to Manage your Hearthstone Card Collection
“Similarly, cards from Classes that a player disdains may be good candidates for dusting.” … be wary of that though, early on I dusted just about every Priest card I got to focus on other classes I preferred. Then Dragon Priest became a thing… a really good thing… and I eventually crafted a lot of cards I’d previously dusted which was a huge waste.
I’m really glad I didn’t dust my Paladin cards despite the fact that I found the class really, really boring… until I packed Uther of the Ebon Blade as my free DK from KFT. Wild shenanigans with Thaurissan and Beardo – I wish I hadn’t dusted Toshley when he went to Wild though ๐
The Headless Horseman Rides! Tavern Brawl Guide
OK “beat” was maybe the wrong word – the brawl ends when you run out of health or (I read somewhere) if you hit 1000 damage, whichever comes first. I’m not 100% certain on the 1000 damage part though as I never managed to do it – as I said, closest I got was 884.
Play with Rin, the First Disciple for the most ridiculous fatigue suicide ever?
