(Live Now!) Hearthstone Patch 22.6.1 Drops Tomorrow - Battlegrounds Balance Changes + Bug Fixes
So you were seeing new Armor but Friend of a Friend was still there? That’s curious π It never happened to me that one part of the patch was implemented, but not the other.
(Live Now!) Hearthstone Patch 22.6.1 Drops Tomorrow - Battlegrounds Balance Changes + Bug Fixes
I think that hotfixes don’t roll out to everyone at the same time. There might be some people with hotfix already in place (playing among themselves) and others who didn’t get it yet (again, playing among themselves).
I’ve tried and I’ve already seen new Armor values + I haven’t seen Friend of a Friend when I posted this (but my sample size is 1, so yeah, it might have still been there).

They most likely don’t want to nerf a deck that will be killed off completely in 2 weeks after the rotation.
It’s also quite balanced, actually… I know it might feel differently depending on the decks you play against it, but it’s like a mid-Tier 2 deck on ladder.
Patch 22.6 Is Now Live! New Expansion Pre-Orders, Free Legendary Card & Hero Skins, Battlegrounds & Mercenaries Updates, Book of Mercenaries: Dawngrasp
They should have left Mercenaries for the last Quest in the chain, but I guess that’s on purpose… they want more people to try the mode. Will it work? We’ll see π
(UPDATE: FIXED ON ANDROID & IOS!) Patch 22.6 Delayed on Mobile - It Will Be Available "Over The Next Few Days"
Yep, you can’t “cross-play” with people from different versions. So if you’re at 22.4.3 you can only play others with 22.4.3 and if you’re on 22.6 you can only play others on 22.6.
Hearthstone Is Heading Underwater - New Expansion Teaser - Nagas/Nazjatar?
Yeah the theme was already pretty obvious from the teaser. If we’re going underwater it really has to be Nagas and Nazjatar is the most prominent Naga location.
But what’s most important are cards! I wonder what the new mechanic will be.
Hearthstone Is Heading Underwater - New Expansion Teaser - Nagas/Nazjatar?
Yeah, I’ve seen that, but just like always I’m gonna wait until the official announcement tomorrow π But to be honest, it was already pretty clear what the theme is from this teaser.
Not sure about all 4 Old Gods, but it would make sense for N’Zoth to be there in some way… After all, Nagas were created by N’Zoth.
Year of the Serpent is a good guess, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was it.
Hearthstone Is Heading Underwater - New Expansion Teaser - Nagas/Nazjatar?
I don’t think it will be Pirates, at least not many of them. The theme looks to be more underwater, so nagas, murlocs, underwater monsters etc.
And this year’s expansions won’t be related to each other thematically, so it’s just this one, 2nd and 3rd can look completely different.
New Hearthstone Expansion Announcement Delayed Until March 17 (Thursday)
We usually get a patch on the expansion’s reveal day, where they add pre-orders etc. 22.6 will nearly surely drop on Thursday, but I would temper my expectations. I don’t think we will get any bigger balance changes for two reasons.
First – there’s a Masters Tour this weekend, and they generally don’t release big balance updates right before MT. And second – we’re just before the new Standard rotation, core set rotation and a whole expansion, the meta should look completely different in less than a month. So I’m not sure if they want to change cards based on the current, pre-rotation state.
Nozdormu the Eternal Deck Lists - How to Finish Nozdormu Day Quest - June 15, 2023
Sorry to hear that. Do you play it soon after the Quest is out or later in the day? Because I usually queue Noz games shortly after midnight, in Casual, and find 1-2 Noz matchups. They’re pretty fun to play to be honest (if not for the fact that HS animation timers aren’t exactly suited for 15 second turns).
But I imagine that later in the day nearly no one plays him anymore.
New Hearthstone Expansion Will Be Revealed On March 15, Standard Year & Core Set Soon After, New Mobile Warcraft Game To Be Announced in May
Uh, yeah, that’s definitely what I meant!
Top Standard & Wild Legend Decks - Fractured in Alterac Valley (Onyxia's Lair) Week 13 - March 2022
I just learned that our company has blocked access to all of our websites (not just HDTD) from the following countries:
China, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, India, and Serbia
I will quote our CM Sas148 on that matter because he explained it better than I could:
This decision is ultimately due to legal compliance and liability issues with respect to these countries and their laws/regulations. This action was not based on any specific law or regulation in any one or more of the listed countries. Our decision was due to the legal costs involved with reviewing the laws and regulations of the listed countries, in contrast with the amount of visitors/revenue earned from them. As a result of this analysis, we decided not to pursue a legal review and to mitigate our liability in these countries, we opted to block access entirely. This is an indefinite decision.
I’m really sorry about that, it’s not my decision and I can’t do anything about that π
Cards We Would Like to See in Core Set 2022
Zilliax was one of the strongest cards we had in Standard ever, to be honest. I don’t think they would put such a powerhouse into a Core Set, but who knows.
On the other hand, it’s a card that felt more “fair” than most of the other OP cards, so maybe that would be an argument to add it to Core.
Oh, and of course, Zilliax alone wouldn’t make that much sense flavor-wise. We would probably need to get some more Mechs, so either a Mech-focused Core Set or maybe an upcoming Mech expansion π
Most Important Cards Rotating Out Of Standard In 2022 - Demon Hunter, Druid, Hunter, Mage, and Paladin (Part 1)
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about it, for some reason I thought it’s from Barrens (but that’s Refreshing Spring Water). I should have probably put it in the post now that I think about it π
(Playoffs Live Now!) Grandmasters 2022 Season 1 Announced - Starting This Week With New Experimental Format and YouTube Drops
I have no idea, it looks like it’s 2 packs per week after all. That’s not what the announcement said, but people are getting them nonetheless.
Most Important Cards Rotating Out Of Standard In 2022 - Demon Hunter, Druid, Hunter, Mage, and Paladin (Part 1)
Technically you’re right, but I don’t think it will work unless we get some serious support. I actually tried out a deck with Haleh and it was WAY worse than Mozaki. The biggest issue was +2 mana cost (so I couldn’t start the combo as early as with Mozaki) and no spell damage means no extra draws from Cram Session.
And that’s with Incanter’s Flow. Without Flow, only Mana Siphon will be left to discount your spells. The deck would either need another way to discount spells + better draw or a way to cheat out Haleh IMO. I’m not saying that it’s not possible, but I’m not sure if they want to push Mage in that direction again since playerbase clearly didn’t like it. And I get it. I don’t mind combo decks at all, but Mozaki Mage could perform the combo just a little bit too soon. With a slower deck, your only real chance was to hit a lucky Mutanus or for your opponent to actually fail the combo (which happened quite often even in high Legend).
Most Important Cards Rotating Out Of Standard In 2022 - Demon Hunter, Druid, Hunter, Mage, and Paladin (Part 1)
Apologizes! I published the older version by mistake, I just added the Paladin section back π
Expansion Speculation - Are We Going to Pandaria? Is Monk Class Just Around The Corner?
I don’t think they will make full expansions dedicated to just one IP. At least not right away.
I think that they might do a non-Warcraft “compilation” expansion where they put in all sorts of different IPs in one set. Like explain it with portals from across different worlds opening or something like that, they will figure it out.
This way they would see whether players are interested in other IPs and which ones are the most popular and would fit the most into Hearthstone thematically.
Oh and about your Dragon point – we might not get a full “Dragon” expansion, but Pandaria could also feature Dragon synergies. Cloud serpents are a big part of Pandaria lore and they would most likely be classified as Dragons in Hearthstone. They are not exactly the same, but it would make the most sense for gameplay purposes.
Should You Buy Onyxiaβs Lair? Is The Alterac Valley Mini-Set Worth It?
I don’t think I would go as far as “always”, but “almost always” – cards from the mini-set would have to be REALLY bad for it to not be worth it. In particular, Epic/Legendaries weren’t playable, I would think twice about buying it. But that’s very unlikely.
It’s still a pretty common question, though, so we figured out that it might be worth answering π
Thank you, I tried my best to explain the puzzles in a way that would help me complete them. All the early guides are amazing and I build my own based on them, but they often miss a lot of details and tips that I have to fill in myself.
Yep, the health was probably meant to confuse players at first and force them to gather a lot of data and find what the “real value” for each of the orbs is. When first entering the puzzle, everyone would assume that health is what is relevant, but it’s just used to hide another number.
