Rebuke
Will have to wait and see what the Paladin decks look like in standard to know how well this fits, as a standalone spell it obviously has a lot of potential.
It seems like it will be OP for people that still play wild, using this in any of the aggressive paladin decks will really push them to another level, and they are already really dominant in the wild meta.
Baku the Mooneater
They are going to print more cards with the tag “if your deck has only odd cost cards”. until we see those other cards it’s way too difficult to tell how strong this will be. It’s rather pointless to simply assess this card based on the existing card base.
Hearthstone Designer Insights: Upcoming Arena Changes - Arena Exclusive Cards, Card Choice Changes
Having a guaranteed legendary would be cool but it would be better if it was first pick rather than last. Many legionaries require you to build your deck a certain way and wouldn’t be so great to get in the last pick when all your other cards have already been selected.
Hearthstone Designer Insights: Upcoming Arena Changes - Arena Exclusive Cards, Card Choice Changes
I think that these changes are all positive. They have taken a step in the right direction.
What Happened to Spiteful Summoner?
The fact is that paladin is simply a lot stronger without running spiteful summoner in the deck. It’s not that the card is terrible for Pally its the fact that Pally is already so powerful that it does not need that card at all to compete. Other classes do not have this luxury.
The stats are pretty clear when it comes to Pally’s dominance of the meta right now.
Ranked Play Returns - Players Will Receive Three Kobolds and Catacombs Packs Next Week!
I also notice that several times I have been matched up against players of a much lower ranking, for some reason I often get matched up against players at rank 7 while I am at legend rank. It has happened too many times to be a coincidence, it always seems to be either rank 7 or other legend players which is really odd.
Ranked Play Returns - Players Will Receive Three Kobolds and Catacombs Packs Next Week!
yeah same thing happened to me. I played only 3 games this season (I lost the first one) to get to legend rank.
It takes the fun out of it a little bit because it seems like everyone’s rank will be really inflated this month. It will be interesting to see how many players are at legend rank at the end of the season.
Best Decks for the Wild Brawliseum: Rules, Tips, and Decks for the Wildfest Tavern Brawl
I just went 5-3 (8 games total) and I only ever vs’d pally or mage. No other classes. I think because lock is so expensive that not so many people are using it although it would be a good choice for what I ran up against (more pallys than mage).
Next run I think i’ll definitely need to target those two decks.
Samerebro's Fatigue Warrior (February 2018)
Interesting deck, It doesn’t seem like much of a ‘Fatigue Warrior’ though, the win condition is an otk combo.
chunchunner's #1 Legend Post-Nerf Control Dragon Priest (February 2018)
There is a similar deck that focuses on the stealing minions concept more but has much better ways to deal with the early game which i have had a lot more success with that I found on hearthpwn.
I don’t want to post a link as it might be against the rules of this site but it is easy to find if you look for it.
It may work better for you.
chunchunner's #1 Legend Post-Nerf Control Dragon Priest (February 2018)
So true.
Also, pretty much any decks work at those ranks if you know what you are doing.
It’s ludicrous to say that a deck that makes rank 1 legend would not succeed at ranks 10-15. People can’t face the fact that they simply don’t play the deck well.
The Current Arena Rules in Hearthstone - Arena Exclusive Cards, Banned Cards List, Card Appearance Rates
I was about to make the same comment before I read yours.
I was playing arena as warlock today and used renounce darkness which gave me hunter cards and I got Deathstalker Rexxar which means that they areonly banned from the draft as you have stated.
Hearthstone Post 10.2 Nerf Deck Lists (Corridor Creeper, Patches the Pirate, Raza the Chained, & Bonemare)
I really do hope that some of these types of decks listed above will be strong post nerfs. Somehow after every patch / expansion the aggressive decks always end up at the top of the meta. Whenever they nerf one then new aggro decks seem to pop up (e.g. before pirate warrior was king but when they nerfed this then rogue and pally became alot stronger).
The good thing about these nerfs are that for the most part they are neutral cards which means that it should substantially hamstring any of the aggressive/tempo type decks.
ARAI's #1 Legend Murloc Paladin (December 2017)
You can just add another good minion in for this deck.
e.g. Grimscale Oracle, Knife Juggler, Finja.
Val’Anyr isn’t required for the deck to work.
Best Kobolds and Catacombs Decks - The Top Deck Lists for the Kobolds Expansion (KAC)
It seems like most of the newly released pally cards will be way stronger in wild mode where they actually use silver hand recruit synergy well. They don’t look very good for standard though.
Gemstudded Golem
The stats alone seem very good for a taunt, they still have to attack through it even if you dont have enough armour to attack at the time.
Mitsuhide's #2 Legend Dragon Priest (October 2017)
Lyra is stronger in this deck than a lot of others, such as a Kazakus deck.
With the amount of low cost spells and the fact that you have two Radiant Elementals in the deck, Lyra can be a game changer.
The Hearthstone Inn-vitational at BlizzCon 2017!
I love that they put an Aussie in there!
Wonder what the prizes will be.
Hearthstone Top Decks F2P BTW Challenge: Week 2 Update
Running along very smoothly.
FYI – I think you accidentally included the word measly twice in the third paragraph of the ‘Week 2 Summary’ section.
but undead is a race, Warlock is a class. Not all undead are warlocks and not all warlocks are undead.
he looks more like an undead hunter if anything.
Besides, warlock is Demon themed, he doesn’t appear to be a demon.
