Standout Post-Nerf Witchwood Hearthstone Decks for Balance Patch 11.2 - A Week Later
I have been playing quest priest a fair bit over the last week, i had one match where i vs a dead mans hand warrior and after about 40 or so minutes (i stole 2 copies of his dead mans hand as well) the game just ended in a draw. i didnt realise that there was a time limit on games until now lol
Draz's #22 Legend Secret Paladin (May 2018)
I wonder if something like this will be the next dominant pally deck once the balance changes come in.
그림자멀록's Combo Dragon Priest (May 2018)
Seems like a really tough deck to do well with. it’s really tough to build most of these lower health minions up enough to OTK your opponent, if you don’t otk them, there’s too many silences on the ladder to remove the divine spirit / inner fire.
Well done to the guy that was able to play this deck with reasonable success.
Pikuranio's Legend Benedictus Quest Priest (May 2018)
There is another version which ran 2 Bone Drakes. The SWD can be obtained from Shadow visions as well, it only really matters alot for an early mountain giant.
Nostam's Witchwood #5 Legend Toggwaggle Druid
how do you fill your opponents hand if naturalize is the only card to make your opponent draw? most decks other than warlock will always have plenty of room in their hand before they discard anything.
Nostam's Witchwood #5 Legend Toggwaggle Druid
yeah i would also like to know. Dont they just switch the decks back and your screwed?
Savjz's Witchwood Toggwaggle Druid ft. Azalina Soulthief
Fair point, my mistake. but as Hungryzombiez said, you can swap again if they swap. If its works out as intended you should end up with their deck.
Savjz's Witchwood Toggwaggle Druid ft. Azalina Soulthief
The opponent doesnt get his deck back, thats the point of Azalina. They lose the card which would switch the decks back.

wow, this deck looks incredibly annoying. I hope it’s not strong.
Rdu's Witchwood Spiteful Druid ft. Countess Ashmore, Druid of the Scythe
the 10 mana spiteful summon seems a hell of alot stronger after rotation, it seems that most if not all of the 10 mana minions remaining in standard all have very good stats. I have been consistently getting 12/12 from him.
Nightscale Matriarch
Nice try but it’s only for healing a damaged minion not the hero (Priest) haha
Dark Possession
I was responding to the comment made “However I don’t see it working with most cubelock decks though, since they don’t have any fodder minions bsides (sic) librarian.”
I was simply pointing out that there is a minion played in cubelock that is a perfect target for this spell if you were to run it.
Dark Possession
It’s another way to kill possessed lackey on turn 6 to summon a demon from your deck while getting a demon in your hand out of it as well.
Rebuke
You could be right but alot of them already run loatheb so the effect is clearly sought after, im still a little unsure about how this weighs up next to loatheb though as the 5/5 body is still a big deal.
Lord Godfrey
plus after the second hit of defile the azure drake would die meaning that the next defile hit would only do 1 instead of 2. This card continues to do 2 damage every time something dies.
That makes sense for tournaments, it would be a nightmare otherwise and no one could ever win, I was on 100 hit points (40 health 60 armour) and he was on 6 hp (he used the DK and lost his armour up hero power) but it was still a draw.
The annoying this was that I would have won after 2 more turns because both our hands were full of unusable cards (no minions left to use brawl, shield slam, SW: death etc) so we were at the point of milling the rest of our decks.
