Jengo's #5 Legend Cube Warlock - Post Nerf Witchwood
Kinda wonder whether it’s getting downvoted because it’s bad or because everyone is sick to death of Cubelock … I suspect the latter.
Tavern Brawl - Gone Fishin'
… if you draw the Deathknight.

Tavern Brawl - Gone Fishin'
The suggestion of “bad” cards like Ancient Watcher, Sewer Crawler and Rattling Rascal work quite well in a Shaman evolve deck.

Murlocadin:
2x (1) Grimscale Oracle
2x (1) Hungry Crab
2x (1) Murloc Tidecaller
2x (2) Hydrologist
2x (2) Murloc Tidehunter
2x (2) Rockpool Hunter
2x (3) Coldlight Seer
2x (3) Murloc Warleader
2x (3) Primalfin Lookout
2x (4) Gentle Megasaur
Always mulligan for Hungry Crab – always.

I’m not the only person that’s forgotten about Crushing Walls then? 😀
Tavern Brawl - Cloneball
I went with Hunter this time around and got Knuckles and Fjola Lightbane with Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale … which is a pretty lulzy combo 🙂

This and (odd) Quest Warrior are two of the most boring decks to play against… just saying.
Cognitive Biases in Hearthstone - Gambler's Fallacy (#1)
“However, lots of people say that it happens more often than it should…” – I didn’t even realise that was a “thing” 🙂
Once you’ve got your hand there are only going to be 26 or 27 cards left in your deck; the odds on drawing *one* of the cards you mulliganed in the first few cards is actually fairly high – and it increases with duplicates and the number of cards mulliganed.
Back of a fag-packet maths says there’s as high as a ~30% chance of immediately drawing one of the cards you’ve mulliganed (going second and mulliganing everything with 2 copies of each mulliganed card in the deck).

“Updated the appearance rate of cards to improve class balance by win percentage…” – that just refers to the Arena draft, and that’s a totally different kettle of fish to altering the chances of actually drawing a card from your deck. It’s always been that appearance rates can be set on a card-by-card basis in the Arena draft; Hero cards, for instance, have a 0% appearance rate.
“Yestarday I had 16-0 with even paladin (from 5 to 2 rank) and the “RnG” card draw was as like I couldn’t lose at all. Then I’ve lost 9 games out of 11.”
That sounds more like the match-making system catching up with you is all – and your lucky streak coming to an end.
周一信徒's Murloc Zoolock (May 2018)
I still don’t know why this isn’t just called “Murlock” …
Cognitive Biases in Hearthstone - Gambler's Fallacy (#1)
Strange – I was reasonably convinced you couldn’t get back the exact cards you mulliganed; you might get the *other* copy of card X – but not card X itself. I can’t remember having ever got back a legendary I’d mulliganed… seems we’re at opposite ends of the spectrum with that redraw.

This is like the new *it’s always Huffer – always* …
The Hearthstone Single-Player experience: What do we really want?
I think the biggest problem I had with the Monster Hunt was the number of opponents that seem to use Mill-style decks… Mill is never a great experience to be on the receiving end of – and when it’s a cheaty AI, even less so.
Not so much of a problem with the Houndmaster as you can just Smorc to victory – but it took me a while to get the hang of the Tracker and the Mill decks made for some tedious losses.
Some of the bosses were just worse with the Tracker as well, like Cragtorr or Face Collector. Tracker’s deck starts off relatively weak and her play-style is slower… you’re more reliant on getting the “right” equipment picks than you are with the other classes as well.
Completed the run with Houndmaster and and Timetinker on the first attempt. Cannoneer took 3 or 4 tries but Tracker, oh I dunno, 12 bazillion or something (or at least that’s what it felt like). Hagatha I beat on the 2nd attempt though.
Tavern Brawl Top 2 - Standard
I lost the first time I used that … though, to be fair, that was mostly because the shopping was being delivered and I had to baby-sit the dog so he wouldn’t attempt to eat the groceries and/or delivery driver 🙂
Dogs are bad for your HS win-rate.

The cost of physical MtG cards also, sort of, reduces the more people you know who play; you can swap duplicates bringing the average cost per card for each player down.
Soggytoast's (T3hJ3hu) Legend Keleseth Elemental Shaman (May 2018)
You don’t actually want to bounce your ‘wock back with a deck like this; you’re building a wall (hence Stone Sentinel and Tol’vir Stoneshaper). Zola should give you a second wall.
Just don’t play Hagatha before the Shudderwock!
Soggytoast's (T3hJ3hu) Legend Keleseth Elemental Shaman (May 2018)
In a deck like this, Shudderwock *should* be played the turn after dropping an Elemental – it’s not the Keleseth boon you’re really after but generating a wall of 6/6 minions, one behind Taunt/Divine Shield, thanks to Saronite Chain gang and Tol’vir Stoneshaper.
Mind Control Tech and Zola are interesting with Shudderwock – steal opponents minions (if they’ve got a wide enough board) and potentially add a new Shudderwock to your hand; you don’t really want Grumble on the Shudderwock turn with this.
Oddly I was tinkering with something similar last night; few more Elementals though – hadn’t considered MC Tech… I called the deck (perhaps predictably) “Elementary my dear Wockson”
Analyzing The Upcoming Balance Changes - How Will They Affect The Meta?
Agreed – apart from the bit about making me a better player; I’m only a low-rank scrub who just plays for lulz 😀
Upcoming Balance Changes: Nerfs to Naga Sea Witch, Spiteful Summoner, Dark Pact, Possessed Lackey, Call to Arms, and The Caverns Below!
Hard to say – but it would hammer the post-quest bounces; that 5/5 (soon to be 4/4) Southsea Deckhand, when bounced back to be replayed, would be back to 2/1 – Stonetusk Boar back to 1/1 and so on…
It would be a nerf but it would also go against the theme of the quest – bouncing stuff.
I kinda like Muck Hunter – it works for removal of tedious taunt creatures while leaving a reasonable body on the board (5/5 after you’ve killed a Tar Creeper for instance)… and you’ve generally got a couple of 1/1s you can sacrifice to clear the Mucklings.
5 mana is an awkward spot though with Level Up and Fungalmancer (and Leroy in this particular deck) – and it doesn’t have the swing value of dropping 2x Corridor Creeper + Fungalmancer.
