Baku the Mooneater
Not sure – making your hero power not deal damage is nice in Zoo but it’s not essential; you should be throwing down cheap creatures all the time, making efficient trades and killing your opponent before they can get their end-game in play. Zoolock probably only uses the hero power 3-4 times a game tops.
Handlock or Controlock on the other hand…
Azalina Soulthief
Sneak it into some kind of Discolock maybe? Play it with Murmuring Elemental just for giggles?
… oh I dunno, this falls into the Gnomefratu school of irritating cards that aren’t *that* great but make me just want to concede whenever they’re played – Skulking Geist is the other one unless I’m running no 1-cost spells.
Tavern Brawl - Showdown at Blackrock Mountain
Winning with Nefarian is somewhat dependent on what cards you get from the hero power; getting a really powerful spell for 0 mana is amazing.
Having said that I just won my first attempt at this brawl (this time around) with Nefarian and 3 of the cards I got from the hero power cost 0 anyway… Ancestral Healing, Preparation and Forbidden Flame.
China Gets a Hearthstone Companion App - Game Replays, Deck Tracker & Recommendation Tools
Is it more or does the “Companion App” icon on a the main menu appear to be a cube..?
Year of the Raven Incoming: Hall of Fame Additions: Ice Block, Coldlight Oracle, & Molten Giant! Also, New Druid Hero and Tournament Mode!
Little late to the party? There wasn’t an adventure in Year of the Mammoth either technically… the Dungeon Run was just part of the K&C expansion.
Year of the Raven Incoming: Hall of Fame Additions: Ice Block, Coldlight Oracle, & Molten Giant! Also, New Druid Hero and Tournament Mode!
How many decks have you actually seen Auctioneer in recently? Strider Miracle Rogue (which isn’t great) and occasionally in Jade Druid (which leaves Standard with the rotation anyway)…
Auctioneer is nowhere near as big a problem as Coldlight Oracle – or even Divine Favour, Call to Arms, Nourish or Ultimate Infestation… but at least those are all class-specific.
Control Mill
Control / Mill Druid without Naturalize? … that seems a very strange omission.
Defile โ Solving the Hearthstone Math Puzzle
I could be wrong – it’s quite possible I played a Kobold first but I was sure another Warlock killed off my Gang Boss with Defile when it was the only thing on the board… or maybe the game just hates me and decided to cheat ๐ It feels like that sometimes!
I’ll have to specifically test it now … for science.
Fr0zen's Top 50 Demon Zoolock (February 2018)
It’s potentially an 8/8 on turn 3 on the coin because of Bloodfury Potion – it’s a strong card if you don’t kill yourself with it ๐
Defile โ Solving the Hearthstone Math Puzzle
For extra lulz, in Wild, put an Imp Gang Boss in your deck…
I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to work but what seems to happen is that every time Imp Gang Boss is damaged it summons a 1/1 Imp which dies instantly … which reactivates Defile.
Seems a bit quirky on the triggering sequence if you ask me as the damage seems to get applied twice in the queue – first to the Gang Boss which summons the Imp and *then* to the Imp itself. Logically it should just hit the Gang Boss and that should be it.
The Great Wall of Taunts and Taunts and Taunts and Taunts and Taunts and Taunts and Taunts and Taunt
And the 2018 award for “least fun deck to play against” is …
… congratulations Quest Warrior, though you had close competition this year from Kingsbane Mill Rogue.

J4CKIECHAN's Post-Nerf Big Druid (February 2018)
Aaaah Bright-Eyed Scout – that’s a 95% chance of a 5 Mana Innervate then ๐
Tavern Brawl Boss Battle Royale 2
I played Hunter for random nonsense… free Death’s Bite on turn 2 – yeah, why not.
Best Post-Nerf Hearthstone Decks for Balance Patch 10.2 - A Week Later
I had a feeling Fungalmancer might see play after the Bonemare nerf… wasn’t expecting to see it in a Mage deck though.
Ant's Post-Nerf Face Hunter (February 2018)
Wait … what?
When did “me go face” require more brains than playing a Control game?
This is a Face Hunter deck – seriously – the only decision you have to make is what to mulligan.
JohnnyBambou's Post-Nerf #1 Legend Murloc Paladin (February 2018)
Honestly – I wouldn’t bother without Sunkeeper Tarim; he’s a win condition on his own in this deck.
Thijs' Post-Nerf Krul Highlander Demonlock (February 2018)
Oakheart is seriously situational … I’m using him in a ramp druid deck and I’ve never yet had any use out of him. Either the things he would pull are already in hand before I can play him or he gets pulled by Y’Shaarj.
Rin is far more consistent and Azari is either a 10 mana 10/10 that destroys your opponent’s deck or, more likely, a free 10/10 when pulled by Skull of the Man’ari – either is not to be sniffed at!
Hearthstone Wildfest (February 19th - March 11th) - Wild Arena & New Tavern Brawls
I really don’t like Arena – but if the first Brawliseum is free, well, that’s a free pack so yeah…
Hearthstone Patch 10.2 Notes - Nerfs to Corridor Creeper, Patches the Pirate, Raza the Chained, & Bonemare
From the Mammoth bundle I got the golden version of The Last Kaleidosaur quest… and Tyrantus.
So I dusted that Paladin Quest and made the Druid one (Jungle Giants) as that’s a little more viable now with Cursed Disciple and Oaken Summons… totally worth it for that one game where I had 0 cost versions of Tyrantus, Menagerie Warden and Bonemare in hand… 2x 16/16 Taunt, cannot be targeted by spells or hero powers anyone?
… having said that though; Handlock can’t use the Mountain Giants (cost 12) or Molten Giants as the cost is reverting to 20 and it’s rotating to Wild – and Control loses Rin, Twisting Nether and Siphon Soul AND Bloodreaver Gul’dan.
So I suppose you’re right about Warlock Zoo, similar to the Keleseth deck, it doesn’t really need to run much in the way of evenly-costed creatures – Keleseth, Bloodreaver Gul’dan and, in some decks, the Lich King was about it.
