Even Yip Warrior
If you can squeeze in a Warpath or two you should improve your odds vs Paladins a bit – timing it right is the trick though.

Sjow's Witchwood Cube Taunt Druid ft. Master Oakheart, Spiritsinger Umbra
Oh I dunno – I had a terrible draw earlier with Hadronox and Oakheart in hand and I didn’t draw Tar Creeper or Saronite Chain Gang before turn 9… but by playing Oakheart I got him, those 2 taunts and Umbra – and Umbra survived until the next turn so when I played Hadronox I got both the Chain Gang and Creeper back…
… ready to drop a Cube next turn, but my opponent quit.
Shudderwock Combo Shaman Deck List Guide - Boomsday - August 2018
Crafted this deck for lulz last night – and the first time I used it, guess what the last card in the deck was…
#neverlucky
(still won as I was playing against Lady in White Priest – which is slow enough to survive against)
Best Witchwood Decks โ Top Deck Lists for the Year of the Raven Meta
I got her from a pack as well – not worth the 1600 dust to craft but interesting enough to keep. Actually, I largely built a deck around her as my main win condition before Medivh rotated out and I was clocking around a 60% win rate – granted mostly at lower ranks and casual so it wasn’t spectacular but it was fun. The trick was to play her on 7 and immediately destroy her with Dark Pact – if she was silenced it was pretty much game over.
But losing Medivh, Dirty Rat and N’Zoth has kinda crippled that deck.

She was good with Medivh in Control Warlock – gives a steady supply of 5-mana spells to use with Altiesh (if you don’t have Twisting Nether to hand) but since Medivh has rotated out…
Not to mention N’Zoth has also rotated out – I’m tinkering with a Rin Control Warlock still but it’s definitely weaker than it was.
cocosasa's #23 Legend Witchwood Secret Mage ft. Black Cat, Cinderstorm
Because it’s 3/3 for 3 rather than 1/1 for 2 – in a deck which doesn’t really care _that_ much about card draw… it’s all about just burning your opponent down. If you draw Aluneth you really don’t want, or need, extra card draw.
Savjz's Witchwood Toggwaggle Druid ft. Azalina Soulthief
No – you use Naturalize to fill your opponent’s hand *before* using Togwaggle (thus burning King’s Ransom); your opponent is then stuck with your deck which has no real win condition while you get theirs.

Updated: TicTac's Witchwood Battlecry Shudderwock Shaman ft. Lifedrinker, Sandbinder
By the late game all the Shudderwock animations can take several minutes to run… Shudderwock to Chain Gang to Murmuring Ellies to more Shudderwocks – the odd Grumble thrown in so the opponent is generating more and more cheap Shudderwocks…
… and all the while I’m sat there with lethal in-hand from Malygos, the coin, and 2x sinister strikes -_-
Tess Miracle Rogue Deck List Guide - The Witchwood - April 2018
Thalnos is *always* good in Miracle Decks ๐ Another option could be Alyxstrasza if you’ve got her – slightly more expensive than the Lich King but still provides an 8/8 body and it’s quite possible to have 4x 4/4 minions on the board (especially if you’ve Shadowstepped a Strider) late game which gives you lethal as soon as you drop Alex as long as there are no taunts on the opponent’s board.
I’ve been running a weird Alex/Malygos Miracle Rogue deck on and off for a while; Alex is useful either to regain health against aggro or bring your opponent into lethal range.

Lillian Voss actually isn’t that great in this deck – I’d go for a second Shadow Step; there are lots of good cards to bounce like Blink Fox, Fal’dorei Strider or even an Auctioneer – that draws you a card and reduces his cost for a better run next turn.
Lich King isn’t so easy because part of the reason he’s in is that the Death Knight cards he generates get re-cast by Tess – he’s such a strong neutral card that he’s probably worth crafting anyway tbh. You could try Face Collector if you got it, Vanish maybe (though if you flood the board with ambush spiders…) or even Pick Pocket, doesn’t have the body but it should generate more cards.
Tess Miracle Rogue Deck List Guide - The Witchwood - April 2018
I keep running into Lady in White Priest decks with 12 bazillion taunts – the lack of hard removal here really hurts in those games.
Rotten Applebaum
Mistress of Mixtures has rotated out so I’m using this instead in my Control Warlock – doesn’t give you the early game support but it sits in Priest’s blind spot, has taunt and falls nicely between turn 4 Hellfire (which it gets you the health back from) and turn 6 Lackey -> Dark Pact (in an ideal curve).
The biggest loss I’m feeling from my Control Warlock, weirdly, is Medivh rather than N’Zoth – Atiesh combined with Twisting Nether or even the ‘nth seal’ cards from Rin was pretty sweet.
Shudderwock
You just know that if you play this in Elemental Shaman it’s going to just trigger the battlecries from the Fire Elementals and blow itself up instantly ๐
Shudderwock
Zola the Gorgan, if you’ve already played Grumble or get lucky from a Servant of Kalimos (since Grumble is an elemental) to generate a second one. 2x Grumble + Kalimos makes for a fun loop.
Swamp Leech
I dunno, a 2/1 beast being played on turn 1 in Hunter is never going to be terrible; you kinda have to kill it in case of a turn 2 Razormaw (+3 health or +1/+1 would be the worry) and with Alley Cat and Fiery Bat going out of rotation it could see some play… I’d still rather play a Dire Mole on 1 though.
It’s cheap enough to combo with Houndmaster or as an activator for Kill Command if you draw it a little later – pretty much useless in every other class though.
Cutthroat Buccaneer
Not a great replacement for Squidface; benefits from the fact that you control the activation but still… and with Coldlight Oracle rotating out Kingsbane Mill is going to be dead anyway.
Chief Inspector
In Wild – unless it’s secret Paladin – you can play around the lesser secrets then drop a Kazan Mystic to steal the Ice Block, without being hindered by such a bad statline as EoS against decks that don’t run secrets.
Dude Paladin has been a thing since forever – they’ve just swapped Quartermaster for Tarim, Level Up and/or Lightfused Stegadon; it’s always been a “normal” HS archetype – it’s just a bit stronger now than it has been for a long time.
It’s still beatable mind; I have few problems with it when running Control Warlock – especially with Despicable Dreadlord. Taunt-heavy decks generally do well too.
