The Storm Bringer Deck Recipe - Shaman
This deck is the perfect example of how HS is broken.
The deck is built thinking about card interaction, sinergy, win conditions, its a beaultiful deck, smooth, well tought…
BUT
IT IS SO HARD TO WIN WITH THIS DECK, ITS SO HARD…
If you face aggro, you can’t win the board, all your minions get killed and there’s nothing you can do.
if you face control, you can’t get throuth…
and if you face a combo deck, just like control, just struggle and die…
This is the meta os HS, if you dont have the most overpowered deck, you will just lose…
Tavern Brawl A Scientific Recipe
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN WITH SHAMAN… SUCH A HORRIBLE DECK WHEN COMPARED TO OTHERS…
Is a Combo Meta Good for the Game?
The weird thing is that we face strong OTK or combo decks at rank 25… The game now has a huge player base, and everyone has dust to craft at least one deck, so they search for the best decks, copy them and start playing… At rank 15 I’ve faced a lot of Mechathun Priests and I see the players making rookie mistakes (meaning they are not pro), but I can’t beat them with any of my aggro decks…
It feals that, even for casual or new players, there’s no deck building anymore, no point thinking about your cards and building the best deck possible with them… everyone is just coping the best recipes available and playing with them, and if you dont do the same thing, you will just lose, over and over…
My point is, this kind of thing used to happen only at higher ranks…
I used to play MTG ten years ago, and back then I had a lot of fun building decks to counter the popular ones, I can’t do that in HS, my only option is to build a combo or OTK deck myself.
Cosmic Anomaly
I dont see it being played on curve, it just wont stay on the board… maybe it will be useful mid game…
Pyros Mage (Post-Nerf Witchwood)
Interesting deck, but you gotta make sure the first time you play pyros it does not get silenced and removed…
Stargazer Luna
IMHO, in most games you will maybe draw one or two cards with this minion, and your opponent will do whatever it takes to kill it. Similar to Arugal… people will do anything to silence or kill this minions, its a interesting mechanic, its like your opponent is forced to kill or silence. Ive used Arugal a few times just to protect a important minion I was going to play next turn…
Emeriss
The worst thing about this card is that I am 100% sure that it will be my first, and maybe only, legendary from the 70 packs that I’ve bought…
Duskfallen Aviana
There’s gotta be some sort of mechanic to summon this on your oppornent’s turn, like some said with cube, or with recruit… there’s gotta be a card with a deathrattle to summon a 5 cost minion from your deck or your hand, so it does not come to play in it’s owner’s turn…
Face Collector
Im probably wrong, but, imho, this might be interesting to give the burst a rogue deck needs on turn 6 or 7.
What is happening on turn 6 ? There are infinite possibilities, but with this card and a shadowstep in your hand you can play this guys twice, and shadowstep one of the copies back to your hand. You ended your turn with a 2/2 on the board and 3 legendaries in your hand, one is face collector of course. Theres a high chance that at least one of the legendaries is a good one, and you might play it on turn 7. On turn 8 you might play the face collector twice, or do something else and save it to turn 9, when you play it 3 times…you have between 2 and 5 legendaries in your hand… Or… after turn 6, you just play the legendaries you got and the rest of the cards from your deck and never play face collector again…
Even if you dont have shadowstep and play face collector twice on turn 6, you will have 2 legendaries in your hand and two 2/2 minions on the board that your oponent will do everything to kill asap, before you return either of them to your hand, so your oponent wil not have a free turn, he/she will focus your face collectors on the board…
With shadowstep, you can play it twice on turn 4… two 2/2 on board and 2 legendaries in your hand…
This echo mechanic is versatile and this card can be used from turn 3 to 10…
I kinda like it…
Its just a bad card.
You gotta be ahead of the board to play it on curve, to say the least.
When you play it, its 1/7, you have to build it up, it takes time.
After one or two turns, if you have the right cards and the opportunity, you increase its attack to 5 or maybe 7, then your opponent destroy it with a silence or removal, like hex…
Its a card that’s bad on its own, and easily countered when you buff it…
