Galvadon, the last Kaleidosaur
He’s got stealth and a whole lot more
Galvadon, the last Kaleidosaur
He’s not that bad if you don’t die turn 4
Witchwood Piper
only way this is possible is if there are no minions in your deck, in which case it’ll be like an arcanologist with no secrets in deck
Voodoo Doll
could be wrong but pretty sure thats not true, murmuring elemental doesn’t let you choose two targets to deal damage to when you use fireplume or fire elemental, doesn’t let you choose two minions when you use cube or moat lurker. don’t think it’ll let you choose two minions here.
Chameleos
now, where the real interesting mechanics comes into play: if your Chameleos is currently copying thier Chameleos which is copying one of your cards, will your Chameleos change when their Chameleos changes at the start of thier turn. since it is still the same card but it shifted into an entirely different card from your hand.
in case that wasn’t clear. if your Chameleos has turned into the opponent’s shifter zerus (Each turn this is in your hand, transform it into a different minion.) will it change into the new zerus card at the start of the opponent’s turn
Chameleos
This question makes me so happy. of course i dont know for sure but i’m guessing:
your Chameleos will turn into the card the opponent’s Chameleos is currently copying ultimately granting you a copy of a card in your hand.
The only exception being if they just drew Chameleos and it has not had a turn to change into one of your cards in which case your Chameleos will change into a copy of your opponent’s Chameleos
Lady in White
just looked at the deck list i was thinking of legendaries like kun or malygos, normal minions like devilsaur and cube are a little bit easier to pull of cause you get two copies
Lady in White
this is going to sound like sarcasm, but i’m actually excited about this, barnabus is a fun card and i bet it’s a super fun deck, but i bet the win condition requires you not to draw 2 or more cards before quest. and it probably only runs about 10 minions
Cursed Castaway
to be fair, the top 5 priest decks are losing 9+ cards to the standard rotation. besides big priest, that only loses 4 but one of those is barnes. each one of those decks are virtually unplayable. miracle rogue loses 2, tempo rogue loses 2.
i don’t think that makes it right, i just think it puts in into perspective. priest as a class relies on the expansions more than any other class especially the first one of a rotation
Lady in White
…. getting a 0/5 lightwell in 50% of your games is ok if in the other 50% your getting a 5/5 plus there’s so many card that are ten times better when you play this card its ok to draw 10 ok cards before it. the reason barnabus doesnt see play see play (imo im honestly not sure) is because in order for you to make it a win condition it required you to not draw 1 or more key minions, this card just start to slowly overwelm your opponent with insane value. as long as you have 5 cards in your deck that benefit from this effect it starts making the game really awkward for your opponent.
even if it’s as weak as you say, you gotta admit it looks super fun
Ravencaller
so i just ran the numbers, i basically counted all the 1 drops that were used in at least a 3rd tier or better deck according to tempo storm during the year of the mammoth. (I clearly have no life) i did however include cards that will be rotated out this year so that’ll throw the numbers off a little.
Assuming all classes value each 1 drop the same there are roughly 2 good cards for every 3 bad. both cards have a 40 percent chance to give you a “good card” which is not that bad.
i know it starts to dip when you factor it class by class, (hunter can’t exactly utilize north shire cleric) but even if we say 30% thats still playable odds in at least a few decks.
Ravencaller
Card creation in general is good in arena. arena a lot of times becomes a game of attrition. don’t think it’ll be great but more than likely above average
Blackhowl Gunspire
I personally don’t think every legendary has to be good. sometimes a card is just fun
Rotface isn’t good, but at least it’s fun. maybe there’s a combo somewhere that i’m missing, but this card doesn’t seem fun or good.
Hunting Mastiff
pretty sure they was thinking timber wolf, timber wolf, 8 mastifs. each mastif gets +2 attack meaning 3*8 =24 meaning they still can’t do math…
Priest gets a 5 mana 5/5 you cant play until turn 10, warlock gets a 5 mana 12/15 you can play until turn 10. Seems balanced…
