Descent of Dragons Balance Changes - Shaman Nerfs Coming Next Week!
Why would they push meta refinement if they want to keep things spicy? Those are opposites. Either they want a stale, refined meta, or they want buzz building changes, but you can’t have both simultaneously.
Highlander Rogue - #1 Legend (DacDamDam) - Descent
Nothing better than beating an emote happy shaman with highlander Rogue after sitting at one health for three turns.
Tavern Brawl - Top 3
I love these brawls with 2-4 cards, where I can play Hallucination & Tess (+ whatever else to fill the deck, Hench-Clan Burglar in this case), and just adapt to anything that isn’t stupidly broken.
Tombs of Terror Strategy Guide - Chapter 2: Scorching Dunes - K'zrath, Plague Lord of Madness
On the first plague lord in heroic: I lost against him once, thought I had him below 100. When I went back, he was at 197, which seemed high. After a few more attempts, I got to him again, and took him from 197 to 11. He killed me, and when the game returned to the map screen, it showed him at 170.
Either Heroic mode restores some boss health when the run ends, or there’s a bug. Either way, it’s not worth my time.
Tombs of Terror Strategy Guide - Chapter 2: Scorching Dunes - K'zrath, Plague Lord of Madness
I played it against the second plague lord. You bounce out to the inn, and after you finish the inn, you go back to the battle start screen, with the big play button, for the boss. I’m almost certain the damage you did before playing the card still counts.
That was the only time I’ve played it, but I assume that’s pretty much how it works against any other boss, other than the carry over damage.
Tavern Brawl - League of Explorers: Revived
Turn 4: Wispering Woods
Turn 5: Mass Hysteria
Awesome combo.
Saviors of Uldum Post-Nerf Decks - Hearthstone Pro & Streamer Deck Lists For All Classes
“Tempo Warrior – #1 Legend (ARAI)”
Ah, that explains why half my opponents are suddenly playing some Warrior deck I’ve never seen before.
Tavern Brawl - The Great Amalgamation!
Won first try with Plot Twist quest Warlock. Turns out 0 mana Kel’Thuzad is pretty good.
Tavern Brawl - Cart Crash at the Crossroads
Picking rogue every time, trying to high roll that Tess.
Pharaoh Cat
In the world where you play this on turn one, and get a 10 mana 10/10 that you won’t survive long enough to play, instead of the 1 mana combo enabler you need for turn 3 or 4.
I think it’s better than Fire Fly most of the time, but occasionally worse.
Tavern Brawl - Battle of the Bans
Been playing my favorite combo for these kinds of brawls, Hallucination + Tess Greymane. Added Blink Fox for extra thievery, and I’ve tried a couple of anti-aggro options in the fourth slot. Doomsayer seems to work the best.
Complete My Deck - How good is netdecking within the Hearthstone client?
Just logged in to EU server, where I don’t have much of a collection. The Innkeeper made me a deck for one of the welcome back quests, looks like it used the deck building system to create it. It was a passable tempo rogue deck, but it had 1x Cavern Shinyfinder with no weapons; especially strange, because I actually have Kingsbane in that collection.
Tavern Brawl - By The Power of Ragnaros
I’ve been messing around with the worst combo ever:
Glinda Crowskin
Mechwarper x2
Knife Juggler x2
Scorp-o-matic x1
When the first five are on the board, Scorp-o-matic costs 0. Drop it, kill it with the echo copy you get from Glinda, deal two damage from Knife Jugglers, and repeat for inifinite damage. You can also go Mech Warper x5 into infinite Zilliax.
Are Genn Greymane and Baku the Mooneater too strong?
Add more ways to interact with hero powers. There have been a few cards that limit hero powers (next use costs 5 more, disable all hero powers while this minion is on the board), but they didn’t see much play. Something that changed both players’ hero powers, or locked them down for a certain number of turns (maybe 3-4), would help not only against Genn/Baku, but also against hero cards.
Tavern Brawl - Brawl of Champions: Round One
I played priest twice, and got Bwonsamdi’s Tome for my shrine both times.
I don’t know, invoking twice seems like the real problem with Elementalist. It’s still a 6 mana 7/5, 4/2 of which has Rush, and it takes Galakrond half way to maximum for only one card. Even without Galakrond, a 6 mana 3/3 with “Battlecry: Summon two 2/1 elementals with Rush” doesn’t sound unplayable. That’s +3 stats vs Giggling Inventor, for one less mana.
