Reverted Nerfs - Sludge Slurper, Raza the Chained, Call of the Wild, Yogg-Saron, Spiteful Summoner & Lesser Emerald Spellstone
BOW DOWN
BEFORE THE GOD OF DEATH.
Eye of the Storm
Why am I paying the Maximum capacity of Mana and STILL getting Overloaded?!
Without drawing 3 cards, dealing 3 damage to all enemy characters, restoring 3 health to all friendly characters, gerring a treat between tea and coffee of my choice, fully recharging my phone battery, auto dusting Jade Idol, Resurrect, Mass Resurrection, Explpsive Runes, and other such Wild Breaking garbage from people c9llections and collections, you know, fun stuff?
Rated 5/5 because my Reno Runespear inspired by Danehearth just got 1% better.
16.0.5 Balance Update - Nerfs to Corrupt Elementalist, Sludge Slurper, Faceless Corruptor, Mogu Fleshshaper + Battlegrounds Changes - December 19
Shaman, Rogue, err …
Nothing about Hunter? Face Hunter holiday is not fun; having to wait on control builds to diminish their winrates so people MIGHT stop playing them.
Not to mention, it’s still among the best classes. Been for over 2 years. I hope rotation puts a break to it like it did to Warlock.
Nerf Patch Coming Tomorrow? (December 18) - UPDATE: Delayed until December 19
Ugh; last year’s nerfs on my Birthday were HORRIBLE;
No Deja Wu, please.
Nerf Patch Coming Tomorrow? (December 18) - UPDATE: Delayed until December 19
It would not count as unprecedented:
they did the exact same thing last year at this very time too.
Except last year they announced the nerfs out of the blue on the very same day.
Lightning Breath
Controllish-Dragon Shaman was actually a semi-succesful archetype throughout the end of RoS, when Brightwing was introduced.
Shudderwock is going to depart on April; if good Dragon Battlecries arrive, Dragon Shaman might be a very limited time succesful archetype; plus, I can’t wait to see how Shudderwock will interact with Galakrond.
New 1000 Wins Cosmetic Hero Portraits - Here's How They Look Like!
Here’s a nice joke:
What did regular Thrall say to Corrupted Garrosh?
“Greetings, Friend”.
New 1000 Wins Cosmetic Hero Portraits - Here's How They Look Like!
A Pirate Valeera <3 !
Thrall, Malfurion, Uther, and Garrosh also look awesome!
Hunter looks … horrible; which is a fitting punishment for winning so many games as Hunter.
Doom in the Tomb Hallow's End Event - 23 Wild Cards Go Back to Standard, Dual Class Arena, Free Packs, Legendary Quests, Unique Tavern Brawls - Coming October 8!
Oh, cool; so it’s the same legendaries that were leaked; which makes this announcement quite redundant.
22 days? I was hoping it’d last longer.
23 Wild Cards Coming Back to Standard Temporarily, New Portraits For 1000 Wins, More Events, Search & Quest Improvements
More FREE Portraits, great.
23 Wild Legendaries (or just cards?) back (please not Moorabi for Shaman), interesting;
better search function for “My Collection”, ehrm, while at it, could you add a “1 copy added” sign or mark or some such to make Highlander-building a less frustrating ordeal?
The Mountain Giant Conundrum
While I didn’t like CC, especially in Arena, and considering how I originally wanted it to cost 4 Mana as I compared it to Molten Reflection, I somewhat dislike that a whole turn 10 based on a 7 drop + Conjurer’s Calling combo had to be rendered impossible simply because CC displayed the most issues with Mountain Giants.
This left the Mage without many ways of playing the thing or without as much combo potential and along with the needed LPG nerf it instantly brought the mage from good to terrible.
In the long run, for saveguarding an ACTUALLY problematic evergreen card (as the increasing amount of Value and Survivability such as Lifesteal has shown) I wonder if it was worth it.
Saviors of Uldum August 26 Nerf Patch - Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Conjurer's Calling, Extra Arms and Barnes!
These nerfs are both hilarious and terrible.
I wonder if the 180° they took with Luna’s and Extra Arms will demoralize the team from attempting more buffs in the future; just playtest the whole thing abit better next time; the rest of the buffs was fairly good;
this is where the fun ends:
Dr. 7 into Dr. 9 only changes the trend but not the impact this “1 Card, Win the Value Game” late game does. It just had to get HoF’ed; the nerfs doesn’t change a damn thing, as the rest of Warrior can still invest in Aggro defenses and Boom to beat everything that is not Quest Paladin or makes sticky boards;
CC is both a pleasure and a puzzle, as Mt. Giants are still there but the combo has been … slowed down; with Luna gone the cost of CC matters even more.
It has been 2 years of Big Priests ruining Wild, further and further within every expansion and THIS is the BIG Hit for BIG Priest? Barnes to 5 Mana?! Vargoth still untouched, along Resurrect and °Co.
Wuauhw …
Saviors of Uldum Card Reviews #2 - Highlander Explorers, Making Mummies, Hidden Oasis, Expired Merchant, Wild Bloodstinger And More!
If we get another strong Neutral Highlander oriented minion, every class can potentially get a strong Highlander build in Wild;
Mage, Priest and Warlock will always stand out thanks to Kazakus, however, Shaman going for Control-style to punish those pesky Big Priests with its new Plague and access to Shudderwock, makes Highlander absolutely intriguing for me.
Looking forward to Rogue, Warrior and Druid as well.
Questing Explorer
Wild Quest Rogue support.
I mean, the … old Quest I mean previously completed quest I mean Quest everybody hated.
???Good/5.
Vanish and Mind Blast Rotate to Hall of Fame, 10 New Basic & Classic Cards Will Be Added To The Game!
Since they asked for feedback:
1) This list feels made up in a matter of minutes; not only does it not seem thought through enough, the information contradicts most of what we’ve seen thus far, for all classes , such as resource generating for Shaman listed as Weakness when Shaman has received at least 1 resource generating thing EVERY expansion since Witchwood; even if this was made from RoS only in mind, Underbelly was still granted to Shaman; not to mention …
2) … this puts quantity over quality in such bad ways: let’s consider Rogue with access to Sprint (which is bound to see less and less play thanks to Preparations nerf); while Rogue has “Drawing” listed as its STRONG POINT, compare it to Hunter’s Master’s Call (Hunter’s limitation) which is a far superior card draw, capitalizing on one of Hunter’s strong points, which is Beasts; also this justifies me in saying, again, that nerfing both Preparations AND Raiding Party was excessive; these scenarios are going to occur alot, because “uncontrolled design” will always be a thing; same as Mage’s situation which has swarms listed as weaknesses when it’s all Mages are doing right now, given how good CC is;
3) Right off the bat, there is a spottable “issue”; every class has more than 1 weakness listed; all bar one: the Hunter only has “Healing” listed as its weakness; sure it has 4 Limitations but what’s the point? Come up with an extra Weakness for it AND fix it already, as it has been roaming Standard for so long now with so many OPPRESSIVE builds available at the same time; either that or take some concepts of Weaknesses off some classes and put them under Limitations.
How could it have been done better? Personally:
for Druid, listing the “Choose One” would describe the class abit better and uniquely;
for Shaman, instead of Resources generating, list “Unstable effects”, which’d compile Evolutionary but also 1-X damage spells and also Overload (as without a form of controlling it or taking advantage of it, it becomes nothing more than a liability);
for Warrior, similarly to Shaman, card draw surely feels like a Limitation; but not Resources Generation; if Warrior has that as a limitation, which class shouldn’t?
Murwock Shaman - Shadows Post-Buff - #6 Legend (ARAI)
Problems with mechs?
Remove Thunderheads and Voltaic Burst and add extra Earth Shock and/or more Silences.
Warlock or Druid?
