Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron
So anyone else wanna take this to wild and play a meme random deck. 1 Yogg 2 copies of this and 2 copies of deck of wonders. Most rng heavy deck ever.
Plague of Death
The issue of pyromancer approach is it requires several cards to make use of it this on the other hand has possibilities of being an answer you can top deck into. Also could possibly drop ressurection on turn after to get a board back depending on rest of the cards it should at least be 1 copy added to most priest decks. The problem of hysteria comes in against certain decks that play off of certain death rattles.

That would have to imply you had dreamway in your hand the thing is there’s no telling what could be in your hand and when so trying to say alternative plays excluding this card is pointless. Most likely if you had dreamway you it would have been played already. But also considering this is a CHEAP cost minion it isn’t so hard to get it out of your hand for crystal song portal to get full value.
Questing Explorer
If you think of this as played with druid which is atm the most likely to use the quest reward can allow both spell effects if your fields empty a decent 2 drop can be a good target for something like Mark if need a quick taunt and board swarm.
Questing Explorer
Hell even if you finish the quest it still isn’t bad since it has vanilla stats of a card with no power. Basically a river crocolisk with conditional power instead of a tribe.
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron
No no you’ve got it wrong first it plays unstable element then it plays cataclysm.
Supreme Archaeology
There wouldn’t be 10 cards left if you don’t plot twist it would be 5-6 your forgetting the starting hand. The point of this card though is to run it with plot twist doing other wise is stupid. You don’t lose much for opening play because outside of zoo builds warlock doesn’t use much of 1 cost minions. As for healing if you look at control lock they tend to have about 4-5 different cards that can heal (not counting doubles). One reason control has had issues is the win condition is rng heavy due to all the high cost cards. This nullifies that weakness once finished because you can drop 2 big cards minimum every turn.
Supreme Archaeology
Considering there is very little in the way of a 1 cost for control warlock this isn’t a waste to play turn one. Control lock focuses more on surviving into late game with huge wall of taunts and some healing with a couple removals. The point of this card in control is it counters the downside of plot twist + Elekk where you keep drawing into cards that can only be played one at a time.
One of the biggest issues of control lock is it can lack an endgame due to most your cards will be 5+ Mana it’s hard to do more than drop 1 card a turn. The big thing to remember is since the quest has a requirement like this there’s likely to be more cards for warlock to support refilling the deck.
On the note of control lock viability I’ve only seen 2 types of warlock played lately control and carpet nothing else. The issue of carpet is if opponent can remove carpet and keep board clear. Control is a little rng ish and doesn’t pick up much till midgame. However control lock hinges heavily on the plot twist field rush and pulling things like whelpling. The reason for this is that’s the only big setup it has since alot of the card costs mean only playing one card a turn.
Untapped Potential
I’d say the advantage this has though is that if it works with battle cry untill you play the DK this helps you other cards you can save fandral for after play DK for other cards since fandral would have to survive a turn to be able to trigger DK this card doesn’t. Since there’s no telling when you may want to trigger the DK this isn’t so bad to have as an active power until ready. Takes up 1 card slot but allows you to consistently get uses of the choose one cards until you change over. Had few games where DK was in last 5-10 cards.
Untapped Potential
Considering the druid hero power is rarely activated in mid to late game except when have 2 Mana free and this gains progress if even 1 Mana is available it does provide more reason to run certain cards. BTW is EVERYONE ignoring the fact that this could allow you to play Wardruid Loti in it’s Uber form in standard?
Supreme Archaeology
Considering if you plot twist with a full hand that’s 9 cards shuffled into the deck just 1 time could possibly finish it. This seems like a card that would allow control lock a better endgame since once it finishes every card hero power pulls is playable that turn control doesn’t really run bigger than 8 cost minions so possible to keep dropping 2 bigish card each turn. I’ve seen jepetto in a control deck before due to the utility of 2 minions going to the hand. Even if they were 1/1 that’s 2 less minions so more likely to draw plot twist if need and depending on what pulled even 1/1 has uses. 1 cost 1/1 whelpling is definitely a steal. But yeah this does provide a way to get tempo if you Elekk plot twist since you draw 2 cards for 2 Mana and 1 of them is 0 cost. The downside to Elekk before was drawing a bunch of the same cards that were all 6+ Mana so yes you could win fatigue but you would only be dropping 1 minion a turn. This card could really bring up the viability of control to more than just battle of fatigue.
Restless Mummy
Multishot for warrior and combos with any card that has to do with something getting wounded. Unlike multi shot though it’s not required to have 2 enemies so for another comparison this can also be fireball to 1 minion.
Questing Explorer
You’d be an idiot not to auto include this if your running a quest it basically gives you tempo back since this card will replace itself in the hand meaning a possible Hand deck running quests would be able to maintain size and still put out on the board.
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron
Very nice card would probably run at least one as a Hail Mary card if your in trouble and can’t do anything (just like Yogg was). This will possibly see play with one copy in a tempo mage. Downside of that deck is if opponent can outlive your tempo it’s almost all over. This gives you 10 chances of possibly at least a blizzard or frost Nova to stall.
Plague of Death
See this and ouch considering the possibilities of new reborn mechanic it makes sense in a way. This is basically twisting nether that got upgraded for one more mana. Now the key that trolls out with this is the silencing portion can interfere with a couple of the decks seen lately. Mostly referring to the death rattle from Hunter and mech pally. With the new reborn mechanic this could be vital. However I do believe that there would probably be only 1 copy at the most in the deck but there’s no telling what support may show up.
Jar Dealer
Ugh token deck fodder will see play in lock more than anything. Not as likely to show up in many other decks by comparison.
EVIL Totem
This is actually a decent card guarantees at least 1 lacky possibly more if opponent can’t answer quickly. Also this supports an aggro shaman outside of the evolve lacky the others can impact the board instantly and are cheap units to combo with the death rattle spells to keep a full board to smash with bloodlust.
Overall I’d place this at 4/5 since this this becomes a high priority to get it off the field in early game possibly wasting a tech card.
Eccentric Scribe
And yet it’s better than highmane for a token deck as it provides 4 minions on death instead of 2 drop bloodlust as shammy and Bam outvalues highmane, have the druid buff all minion gets 4 2/2. Yes the lack of tribe hurts when it comes to specific spells but it also can be good thing like druid running witching hour for beasts with taunt.
Darkest Hour
That’s more a fortunate side effect since summons out minions from the deck.
No you had it right the effects go through even if there was a restriction on who can be targeted. You can see it against the druid in Dalaran Heist. Also if rogue gets the one shaman legendary walk the plank can kill all 3 minions even if only the middle one was damaged.
