Plague of Madness
Not bad of a card since it’s 1 Mana can play it and use with a weapon breaker rather easily. Ideal targets to hit with this are low attack high health units like the big divine shield taunt, or utility units that can let stay on the board. Will probably see at least 1 copy of this run in each rogue deck especially a pogo deck. Downside is a control warrior is not an ideal opponent to use this against.
Now something of interest though this card grants rogue a board clear for opponents side for 5 Mana total. If you play this and keep at least 1 durability you can play Blade Fury to break your weapon and dmg all enemies with it which will trigger poisonous. This actually gives rogue a 1 Mana cheaper field clear since lost vanish and doesn’t hurt your own side. Based on THAT ability alone I’ll give this a 4/5 rating since it’s a play that’s useable during time where most aggro have built a wide board and likely used all or most resources in hand.
Weaponized Wasp
Shudder would be random targets so he could fire fire fire at your face life drinkers bypasses it since it says hits enemy hero.
The bit with holding lackey is because depending on what the lackey is, holding it in your hand for who knows how long until you draw this card is something to consider.
On the matter of heist baron unlike shaman rogue has several ways to kick a lackey back to the hand for replay and they only need 1 to use with baron. This card can have 2 copies in the deck meaning at possibly 2 separate times you need to have a lackey available. This is more restricting than rogues only needing one to drop with a legendary. Also due to the quest some shamans will be wanting to finish it as soon as possible and the Lackeys are a cheap way of doing that.

Yeah what you think those scrolls are for he uses them to provide ammo to his guns. They’re basically magical spitball launchers you need a lot of magic parchment to use them.

I’d say they don’t count I’m using things like deck of wonders as an example so nay be off. Those scrolls didn’t count when drawn for the other mage quest. I could be wrong about that though. But still why would you want to try triggering with that. You wouldn’t be able to complete it till turn after without even having enough Mana to play HP when you did.
Also the puzzlebox is more of a Hail Mary card when you’ve got no other play that could save you.

Earthquake
Basically the point of this spell is to take clear out the field. You would need more than just this but if you could hold then off till get to 7 Mana you could possibly cut them off. Shaman has a few options of clearing that it can do before 7 Mana the only trick is the overloads.
The fun thing about balancing shaman is with spells instead of making cheaper you’d just give it overload cost stays relatively the same but is still playable sooner.
Most likely this would never drop below 5 Mana and it would have either 2-3 overload because of that.
Weaponized Wasp
Medivhs valet was by far superior if you had ice block secret. Unless your opponent had a card to kill secrets you would be able to drop it at any time. Murkspark did 1 less dmg and required an even only deck which priests could interfere with.

Actually it’s 6 cost you need a lackey out and to use the hero power. Which could make it a 6 cost 8 dmg with a 3/3, and a 1/1, 6 dmg with 3/3 1/1 and 2 2 cost minions or maybe 6 dmg 3/3 1/1 with 2 spells. The other Lackeys are useless without a minion on the board. This card likely won’t see play till turn 4 or later since Lackeys will be targeted when facing shamans now.
So basically it can make an impact soon as it hits the board unlike the bomb warrior 3 drop but you can’t make use of it on it’s own otherwise it’s just a 3/3. So basically this is a more limited card since it’s useless without a specific card in your hand or on the field. This would also limit shamans since they would want to try to keep at least one lackey in the hand at all times.

Sry not turn 3 unless have a weird tavern brawl but RNG into it would be nice instead of worrying about drawing from deck before draw big minions.

It’s not much of a scam considering since it cost 2 less if you had the Mana to play the card it’s basically the same as if you had in hand already to play. The only time this is bad is if the card you RNG into cost 0 or 1 otherwise your breaking even or maybe even profiting depending on what your deck is. Everyone uses their hero power when you have 2 Mana to spare the only thing this hurts for mage is can’t ping off a minion. However that RNG could give you a card that keeps you alive long enough to win. I mean come on who wouldn’t love say dropping a LPG on turn 3 that could be a big deal for some decks.
Works well for Antonidas since you could bank cheap spells to toss out with him to get fireballs before he may get killed on opponents turn. Also works with the elemental since cheap spells means more spells get refunded when summon.

You know a rarely ever used card this also works with? Gurubashi Berserker 2/7 if opponent doesn’t kill it or get it down 3 health tag it with this and it will have 14 attack. Not a bad trick for someone that may be just joining the game recently.
Earthquake
And I’m predicting that this will probably be closer to 3-4/5 atm the trick of this card is need to survive to that 7 Mana cusp to use this and it’s mainly tailored against 2 classes Hunter and druid. The fact that it does 7 dmg puts this ALMOST as if it was a twisting nether seeing as how MOST cards played can’t survive that without buffing. Problem is druid can still refill board turn after with the 8 Mana 5 treants but this DOES counter one druid play of making treants 5/5 ancients and using soul.
Earthquake
The key I figure is if you look at the image why is it called plague of death. When all it is is quicksand by that logic this image looks like an earthquake and it’s named earthquake so it can’t be the plague card. There could have been several better names for the current plague based on the image so it stands to reason that the image doesn’t really matter as much as the name.
Weaponized Wasp
Oh goodie battlecry shaman gets better and look at that 9 Mana bring on the pain. 2 cost quest HP 1 cost any lackey then play this 2x for 12 dmg possibly 16 with certain lackey.

Considering what this HP does it’s actually rather nice for several mage options. Some of the mage decks suffer if they don’t draw into key cards mostly the draw power ones. Losing ping to at least get a random card that may have value may be worth it.

Oh God this is scary so many cards that can take advantage of minions appearing on the board with basically rush at this target. This card will be amusing in some tavern brawl and or solo fights later possibly. For that I’m referring to using this on the 8/8 Hydra you know which one.
Overall if you have a card out that buffs your other minions on the board it supports this as well.
Impbalming
Quest is more for the Fel Lord deck than anything. One weakness of that deck is it uses alot of high cost minions where even in late game you drop 1 MAYBE 2 in a turn. Quest makes so your guaranteed to be able to play at least 2 big minions in late game. That’s especially usefull if play Rafaam and most likely lost your healing cards. Works with the Elekk plot twist combo as well to keep drawing and playing.
The issue with this card is it puts 3 cards in your deck that probably don’t want. The most likely deck to run this is carpet lock since give removal and more one cost minions. The fact that it gives 3 though is what hurts this cards options. Rafaam is only sure way to get value off of this as far as we’ve seen sense demons could pull 2 of the 3 from deck but that’s 7 Mana just to removal and recover some.
NVM last paragraph looked up the details and it doesn’t use the poisonous so I’ll say 3/5.
