EVIL Quartermaster
Maybe in an aggro dominated meta (which happens often) thus might see play in a tempo warrior.
I know 2/3 for 3 Mana is a tempo loss, but gaining a lackey is good, and 3 armor might be enough to help you survive against aggro
Platebreaker
Since it’s a tech card with no tribe (surprisingly not a dragon, so it must be the dragon rider the card is focusing on), this will live or die with the meta.
If warrior is able to gain lots of armor, decks will run this to hard counter. If heal paladin with thekal is really powerful for some reason, this will be too.
Would this be played if it said “deal 15 damage to your opponent if they are a warrior”? It would mean that warrior is no longer played, which is bad card design.
Overall, I feel mixed with the design. I dreamed about this card when druid had malfurion DK, UI, and branching paths, but now this just seems gratuitous. But this will likely be enough in the future to stop decks from winning by armor alone.
Stormhammer
This card is so cool! Definitely the card I’m most excited about for this set
Mindflayer Kaahrj
Is this just a cheaper, delayed Faceless Manipulator? But also you can only target enemy minions?
And does the “new” part imply that any buffs/debuffs will be forgotten?
Does this suck, or am I missing something?
Kobold Stickyfinger
It’s great to see more new mechanics!
Before it rotated out, corrosive sludge saw play, and this is arguably better than that (both 5 Mana, with 1/1 different in stats)
This will be dependent totally on the meta. If there are weapons everything, then this may be there to stop them
Dragonqueen Alexstrasza
Yeah, and it’s nice since it’s not discover, you could get dragons from any class! A lot of cool combos and interactions
Chenvaala
The dragon soul comparisons are totally legitimate.
What also worries me is board space. To take full advantage of this, you’ll also want an apprentice (maybe 2). Then maybe later you’ll want a mana cyclone. Also, mirror image can really get in the way

I really love slower Highlander decks, so I love this card.
One thing that makes me sad is the anti-synergy with the new Ysera (shuffling in dream cards turns this off), seeing as druid is a Highlander class
Dragon Breeder
I agree with you, I think this might look better than it will be in practice.
It’s like Zola the Gorgon, who was only really used in combo decks and decks that wanted a few more resources, like Shudderwock Combo and Crystal Core Rogue. A combo deck might pop up in this expansion, but I’m not creative enough to see it yet.
One place this might be used is in a value-oriented dragon heavy deck, where getting extra copies of dragons (such as with War Master Voone) helps you win the game.

In your defense, I think Blizzard often words these flashy cards purposefully ambiguous to get people like us talking about them. The affect is unusual, and therefore not immediately clear to everyone. No need to feel bad!
Flik Skyshiv
Potentially. One problem I see is “destroying” an already dead minion. It doesn’t really make sense.
And since there isn’t a space for dead minions (like a graveyard), it feels weird to remove minions from that nonexistent space.
Flik Skyshiv
Yeah, that would make more sense for clarification.
And I think this means that if you destroy a minion, it will destroy all copies for all players. So something universal like Zilliax will be an interesting target.

Things I never thought they would do:
–Make an actual “graveyard”
–Play with the max amount of mana crystals
–Increase the max hand size
Today, Team 5 proved me wrong on one of these!
Flik Skyshiv
No, I don’t think it will work on cards that have the potential to exist, such as Jade Golem or Devilsaur from Bated Arrow.
I think it’s meant to work on all copies in play, in players hands, and in players decks. So if you killed one Jade Golem, it would kill all the other copies in play, and potentially any others that were returned to hand/shuffled into a deck.
And since the “graveyard” doesn’t work the same way as in MTG, it won’t remove a dead minion from the resurrect pool for a card like Mass Resurrection.
Sanctuary
I believe 1 turn counts both your turn and your opponents (or perhaps just your opponents, but that doesn’t seem right).
So let’s say turn 2 you play this and end your turn. On your opponents turn, they aren’t able to damage you. At the beginning of your next turn, you’ve now spent a full “turn” taking no damage, so the 3/6 will summon.
Kronx Dragonhoof
Oh yeah, good point. I didn’t even think about Galakrond replacing the hero power.
I don’t play wild enough to know the meta, but I’m glad that problem is being dealt with.
This might be like skulking geist, good enough stats for some decks to run. Where they differ is that most classes don’t have natural access to armor
