Reckless Experimenter
If this kills the minions in order of play and it only kills them while it’s alive, then this could be used to flood the board. This -> voodoo doll -> tons of cheap deathrattle minions, and since the voodoo triggers first then this will die before it kills everything else. Of course, that’s only if it’s coded to work like this, but even if it kills them no matter what or all at once, you could just play some eggs and/or other small minions that are played for deathrattle. There’s also the potential for some NASTY cube combos so 5/5, will definitely see play.
The Boomsday Project Card Review #1 - Spider Bomb, Biology Project, Omega Defender, Electra Stormsurge, Myra's Unstable Element and Stargazer Luna
Not sure how that interaction would work since Electra’s text specifies that the spell casts twice. If it said something about casting it an extra time, then yes that would be insane. Same thing as playing two murmuring elementals, since they both say cast the next battlecry twice, they don’t stack.
Witchwood Piper
I stayed up to 1am while I’m sick as crap for THIS. FeelsBadMan. Card is trash.
Deadly Arsenal
This card is absolute trash. First of all, this goes into a control list and would have to sacrifice Blood Razor unless you want to risk 2 damage AoE for 6. Therefore, the IDEAL deck would be 2x Gorehowl and Fiery War Axe. According to statistics, there is a 78.1% chance of having AT LEAST one of those weapons in your hand by turn 6 and a 51.7% chance of having this card in your hand by that same turn, assuming that you have 2 copies in your deck.
Now for the chances of success: the best case scenario with this card is to play it turn 6 onto a full enemy board and deal 7 AoE damage (Gorehowl). To find this probability, we multiply our probability of both gorehowls being in our deck times the probability of having at least one copy of Deadly Arsenal in our hand times the probability of Deadly Arsenal selecting Gorehowl.
Probability A: P(all weapons in deck) = 0.219
Probability B: P(1+ Deadly Arsenal in hand) = 0.517
Probability C: P(selecting Gorehowl from deck) = 0.5
P(A|B|C) = 0.056
The probability of having the most optimistic yet realistic scenario occur is about FIVE PERCENT. There are other scenarios that are better and more hopeful (having drawn both war axes) however they have their own downside (less chance of even having a weapon to hit with your second Deadly Arsenal).
So yeah, this card sucks. Personally, I give it 2.5/10 stars. It might see experimentation but so will most warrior decks. Even if control warrior does become a thing, I can assure you this will not be in the core package of it or even the tech package.
P.S. correct me if my math is wrong, I’m fairly confident in my statistic skills but not fully
Emeriss
As long as you can get at least 3 minions that are all decent stats on their own, this card is insane
Year of the Raven - Impact of the Changes & Hall of Fame Rotation
3rd expansion looks kinda like a weathered down dock, so maybe pirates or some city near the coast? (sorry never played WoW) Could be fish bones, algae, etc. inside the circle of the third one.
Void Ripper
Confuse with a 1/3/3 body attached, seems like a really good finisher or trade making machine for druid or silence priest if they can’t find their inner fire (if that becomes a thing again)
Dragoncaller Alanna
Why must they push medivh/burn Mage so much? Sure I enjoy playing it, but why?
Evasion
That wouldn’t work since this is a secret, so you’re only immune during the enemies turn.
Geosculptor Yip
Seems decent in fatigue warrior and maybe control warrior if that comes back. Bring it on synergy. 4/5
Lesser Amethyst Spellstone
Seems really good in control warlock. When fully upgraded, it’s comparable to the 4/7/7. Before you go off on “How in the world is this like the 4/7/7?”, think about it: 4 mana, deal 7 damage, heal for 7. It’s as if the 4/7/7 had charge, taunt, affected by spell power, no overload, and could only attack once. Your opponent has to deal with the taunt and waste 7 damage (the lifesteal component because this is basically healing), it has one charge attack (the deal 7 damage), and it’s immune to any debuffs or AoE while also being affected by spell power (it’s a spell). All in all, I think that this will be a staple in controllock.
TL;DR- It’s the 4/7/7 in spell form, & that’s pretty good.
Fal'dorei Strider
Because Rogue wasn’t strong enough already. Now we’re gonna encounter EVEN MORE ROGUES ON LADDER because now Miracle Rogue will probably be viable! Yay!
Due to the wording, it sounds like you MAY and able to ressurect the same minion 3 times if it’s the only thing that died (doesn’t say 3 different friendly mechs). If this is the case, all you have to do is play Framebot + Zilliax and that’s already a big swing turn that could win you some aggro matchups. If that doesn’t cut it, just play this for 12/21 worth of stats split into three bodies, all of which have lifesteal, taunt, divine shield, and rush. The rush is what makes this insane, otherwise they could get silenced. With rush you can make sure you heal at least one time and that’s for 12 health which is insane. If it works like this, then this is a Paladin version of Hadronox. 5/5 will see play.
