great card. super power crept 1 drop, but dh kind of needs that if any aggro or tempo decks are to take shape.
has incredible synergy with that new 2/3 whirlkick equivalent. this will be a 2x in any non reoccurring focused dh decks once rotation happens.
Wretched Exile
this card is insane. whirlkick master was amazing and now that we’ve seen that 1 mana 2/1 rush outcast card, this could be insane too.
generally speaking, outcast cards are stronger than combo cards, and this card guarantees you get outcast on whatever it generates if you play it on the same turn.
stupid amount of value wrapped up in a 2 drop. i expect this to define dh going forward.

Wither
obviously requires enough undead worth playing to see play, but assuming there are — this is really efficient removal and a huge tempo swing if you have enough minions. like 3 undead removing 3/3 from a minion while also buffing 3/3 to your minions is flat out like casting power of the wild & wrath all at the same time.
I think it’s going to depend on undead aggro taking shape, but if it does this is an easy 2x and 4 star card.

can someone explain to me why this isn’t just good? cheap target freeze effect with potential upside later in the game?

card is nuts. 3 mana 2/5 is a great stat line and the upside of handbuffing a bunch of cards is absolutely going to be good.
turn 1 bodybagger/any 1 drop, turn 2 hero power, turn 3 this thing. Gonna make turns 4-6 really brutal for your opponent.
Vicious Bloodworm
card is nuts. bloodfen raptor plus handbuff is playable. only has 1 rune requirement. I expect this to see play in a bunch
Anima Extractor
Immediate thoughts are to buff this minion’s attack and then play the new Riot card & Provoke to get a ton of hand buffs off.
Anima Extractor
This is actually pretty good. Reminds me of Armorsmith except instead of healing you, it gives you better minions. I can see this actually fitting into some kind of enrage warrior list if that develops again.
Sire Denathrius
Prestor is likely not going to want it because this replaces Prestor as your highest cost card for Coldtooth Mine, meaning that deck becomes incredibly less consistent.
Ramp Druid yes could use this in combination with Scale of Onyxia; good eye, I missed that one.

Sooo Warrior just gets obscene amounts of Charge again? Have we learned *nothing*?
No clue if this is immediately viable, but I’m sure somewhere down the line it gets played.

Okay so Secret Rogue can now Prep + Serrated Bone Spike + this + Secret + Draka to summon a 2/3, a 3/4, remove a minion & gain a 5/3 weapon.
Regardless of which secret deck you pilot, this card is an automatic 2x and a very strong reason to play Secrets.

Wait this is just cast 3 Piercing Shots for the cost of 2. This is kinda sneaky good, no?
Can someone clarify what happens if your opponent only has 1 minion? Would it hit that minion for essentially upwards of 17 damage?
The Countess
I don’t really see what deck this goes into, but later into the rotation, a Pure Paladin list is probably supported enough?
Until the current Paladin builds rotate out, I don’t see much knocking them out of the meta to where Pure Paladin is the pick.
This is a great value card, and Pure Paladin has Zilliax now, but I just don’t really see a reason to run Pure Pally over Control or Handbuff variants.

So far the two decks we're seeing support for that might be able to actually get Infused cards off are:
1.) Wildseed Hunter
2.) Skeleton Mage
Wildseed Hunter I'm really not sure WANTS to play a lifesteal Cthun, but maybe it does & I'm stupid and it just becomes a really nice catchup/finisher. It's pretty likely that you'll have like a taunt minion up by turn 10+ when you play this, so I actually think this deck is the most likely one to play Daddy Denathrius.
Skeleton Mage is a meme and will be bad but MY GOD will I try to make it work. This card seems like an expensive experiment in it, but maybe it's actually okay considering Mage is going to have a pretty stupid amount of defensive options in the Frost spell school. Slowly but surely progressing your Kel'thuzad & your Dad to finish with MIGHT be worth experimenting with. At worst case, it has synergy in a bad but fun deck.
This card is dependent on decks that summon a lot of boards & obviously you need to draw this card, but there are a few classes that could do both (Druid can tutor Dad with Coldtooth Mine & can summon lots of little minions). Maybe a Token Druid uses this as like a YOLO endgame play.
Idk it's a 2/5 but he's my Dad so I love him.

Clean the Scene
I like that Priest is largely reverting to its old identity of “loses to 4 power minions”. That said, I don’t really buy the hype on this card. It’s almost never going to be infused, so basically 5 mana to kill all 3 power and below minions is what you’re looking at. I get that it fills a gap for Quest Priest at 5 mana, but I don’t really think this is as good as people are saying. That 4 mana dragon does pretty much the same thing; this just full clears like Xhilag for 1 more mana?
Cathedral of Atonement
Honestly, this is just a really strong location, regardless of the class. I don’t really think it’ll see much play because it’s in Priest, but maybe Bless slots it in? That’s definitely a deck that could use the draw; otherwise, I think it’s kinda clunky elsewhere? Maybe Quest uses it for its 3 drop, but they already have decent 3 drops to use as it is.
Boon of the Ascended
don’t fall for the bait people, it’s too expensive.
I don’t see any priest deck out there right now or in the upcoming set that plays this card.
solid legendary. depending on what you get/when you play this, it’s effectively a free 3/3 that guarantees you two outcast triggers and generates two strong cards of value.
i’ll stop short of 5/5 because i don’t think this defines dh archetypes or necessarily goes into every single dh deck, but it’s going to be a very strong play on pretty much any turn you play it besides maybe on curve unless you get some really good luck on the random value you generate.
synergistically, this card with that whirlkick equivalent is going to be VERY strong.
